Motors just dropped a new lighter design (check their Instagram @motorscoffee). Credit accepted. They have a loyalty card so you can keep track of all the coffee you're drinking, and eventually get a free coffee. [1] In a hip Parisian way. The other reviews mentioned it being a great place to sit and work, so I did. The waitress actually helped connect me to wifi and took my drink order. However, 45 minutes into working I still didn't have my drink and the barista kicked me out because I was using a laptop during non-laptop hours. There were no signs posted, the waitress did not tell me (in fact she connected me), and then I was embarrassingly kicked out (in the middle of a quiz!). I understand policies, but this was just really poorly handled and my time was wasted.

The coffee was barely noticeable and I realize they use cold brew instead of espresso. They said they can't use espresso since it doesn't mix well with milk which I found interesting. If you come here, I would stick to hot/classic drinks instead.

It was served with complimentary chocolate by Alain Ducasse (one of my favorite chocolatiers EVER). The two baristas were exceptional- friendly and super helpful. They explained the differences between each of the drinks and even allowed me to sample a couple. The coffee is more expensive than most coffee shops but the superior quality justifies the higher prices. This is my new favorite coffee shop in Paris!
