In addition, I do not have a Haraz Coffee House near me, so when I am near one of their locations, I make it a point to pop in. I love Haraz. I love the ambience. I love the coffee. I love the pastry selection. I love the service. The consistency I've experienced from location to location is top-notch. The cleanliness here is impeccable, too. That bears mentioning. My go-to is the Haraz Latte. Iced. While this could never be my every day coffee, it is something I really enjoy and treat myself to when I'm able to go to a Haraz. As someone who doesn't proclaim to like cheesecake, their Biscoff cheesecake is the exception. Maybe it's a blessing that one isn't close by and I can only indulge every now and then. If you want a break from your regular coffee, give Haraz a shot. Especially when the summer heat kicks in - the iced coffee + cardamom is pretty great. Also, they seem to have a high standard for hiring. The staff is always great. Please tip generously ;)

Open later than most coffee shops, especially in this deserted part of town. Varied drink menu, both caffeinated and not caffeinated, including refreshers. Nice creative variety of desserts (including a Biscoff cake!) and a kolaches case. At one point the brought some hot baked dessert (looked like a whole coffee cake) out the oven and it smelled like heaven. The bad: Nothing vegan or healthy, not even pre-made cold sandwiches or packaged salads. If you are a little peckish for a healthy snack, this is not the place. The coffees: They have all the regular espresso drinks, and also Turkish coffee and of course Yemeni, their specialty. I had heard great things about Yemeni coffee and was exciting to try it. My first drink, a traditional coffee drink called Jubani ($6) contained coffee but was watery like a tea. It had also ginger and cinnamon. I was not expecting it to be like a tea. I immediately told the cashier I didn't like the drink and would like just an Americano, double shot espresso. I was charged $9 for a 12 oz cup. No cream or sugar, no added flavorings. If I were in charge I wouldn't have charged for this second drink, since it comes at almost zero cost to them and would show good faith and ensure repeat business. Disappointingly, the Americano was also watery and sort of "lemony", but I still drank half while sitting with my friend. I'll say that my friend had some sort of an iced latte that she enjoyed. I might try a second visit and order a Turkish coffee, but I will make sure to have had a full meal before.

There weren't many people in there, maybe two, so I could sit and relax a while. It took a long time for my drink to get served, so was looking forward to tasting their coffee. This was a big letdown. The coffee itself was lukewarm and lacked any sort of rich flavor, as if there was barely any espresso in there at all. After an even longer wait, my sandwich was brought out, which sealed all my thoughts on the place. The sandwich was barely warm; there was a thick piece of cheese on there that wasn't even melted (I presume due to the lack of heat). I can't even remember if I finished either of the things I ordered, but I quickly packed up and left. This was the reason I didn't remember the place as its coffee and food are forgettable. It's a shame as the location, size, and décor all work well. I will not be returning.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing as a long-standing and loyal customer of the Pecan Street Starbucks location in Pflugerville, Texas. My family and I regularly purchase both food and beverages from this store, and we have supported your business for years. I am deeply disappointed and offended by how we've recently been treated, particularly by one of your night shift managers. During a recent visit, I requested a refill of water in a Starbucks Stanley cup that I purchased from your store. Instead of being met with basic courtesy, I was treated with visible irritation. The night manager aggressively snatched my cup, filled it in a dismissive manner, and returned it to me with clear disdain. His tone and behavior came across as demeaning, and I could not help but sense an undercurrent of racial bias in the way I was handled. While I do not make such claims lightly, the consistency of his negative demeanor and the contrast to how other customers are treated have left me with great concern. I brought up my concerns with the day manager on a previous occasion, but the behavior has continued, suggesting that there has been no follow-up or corrective coaching. As a regular, paying customer who has supported Starbucks by purchasing your branded merchandise, food, and beverages, I believe I deserve to be treated with respect. Additionally, I would like you to revisit your policy around providing water in personal, Starbucks-branded drinkware. I do not understand why water can't be poured directly into a refillable cup that your customers have paid for--especially when doing so would reduce waste and improve service for loyal patrons. This experience has been upsetting and discouraging. I request that this matter be reviewed, that appropriate steps be taken to address the unprofessional behavior, and that I be contacted directly regarding this issue. This Starbucks was by far the worse i have ever been to. and i frequent starbucks all over the austin area. i might as well get my drinks from mcdonalds. i had placed my order with the lady who was new, she asked for help. thats fine. but then the lady who said she had made my drink before, told the barista how to make the drink, which ultimately did NOT come out right. when i told him he seemed to not be all there, he appeared to be HUNGOVER! the hair was a mess and he looked bummed out. starbucks is not a BUMMY place! then as he fixed the drink, this short haired short girl employee who was listening to all this, gave me a dirty look. I started coming here about 3-4 times a week now and every time the employees are usually friendly, but this one time Ross was exceptional. I accidentally ordered some sausage croissants when I meant sausage English muffins. When I addressed him, he told me to keep them anyways and made me new Sausage English muffins even though it was my fault due to miscommunication-- I said croissant but pointed to the Sausage muffin. He even refunded me the difference which I told him to keep but wouldn't except so I put it in the tip jar. Thanks for the great service Ross!!! read more

It's a Starbucks - if you've seen one you've seen them all. The staff at this location was friendly enough; high school & college-aged employees worked behind the counter, as is typical for the chain. They screwed up my order; I ordered a mocha frappucino & they brought me a hot coffee; it took about 20 minutes for them to correct the mistake and for me to get my drink, but when it finally arrived they gave me a larger one & also a gift card for $4 off my next order to apologize, which I thought was very nice of them.
