    Decor is nice.

I was passing through Pflugerville and decided to stop and search for a coffee place. West Pecan Coffee popped up, and I remembered I'd visited here once before, but a few years ago. I couldn't recall if I liked the place or not, so I decided to swing by. The coffeeshop is a really nice size, and the décor, furniture, and seating arrangement were really good. Plenty of room for students, tired souls, or just about anyone. They seemed to like their Merch there, as it was everywhere. I ordered a simple Latte along with a Bacon & Egg sandwich. There weren't many people in there, maybe two, so I could sit and relax a while. It took a long time for my drink to get served, so was looking forward to tasting their coffee. This was a big letdown. The coffee itself was lukewarm and lacked any sort of rich flavor, as if there was barely any espresso in there at all. After an even longer wait, my sandwich was brought out, which sealed all my thoughts on the place. The sandwich was barely warm; there was a thick piece of cheese on there that wasn't even melted (I presume due to the lack of heat). I can't even remember if I finished either of the things I ordered, but I quickly packed up and left. This was the reason I didn't remember the place as its coffee and food are forgettable. It's a shame as the location, size, and décor all work well. I will not be returning.

Pistachio Nutella swirl, drip coffee, garden party

We popped in here to try a new local spot. The staff was super friendly when we walked in and gave us some great recommendations based on some questions of what we like in our coffee. They offered us pastries, we tried the pistachio Nutella swirl that they warmed up, it was delicious! Not overly sweet with great flavors. For coffee we tried their garden party which was more of a floral profile and their drip coffee. The place had a lot of people there ranging from people working on computers to just chatting and catching up. It was super inviting with lots of seating and lots of beverage options! Would be a great place to come and work if you're looking for a change of scenery from the office.

Super cute little hipster vibes coffee shop in downtown Pflugerville. Service was fast and very friendly. Ginger Pear scone and Nutella pistachio bun are delicious warmed up. Coffee is on point. This place is always packed and poppin' and I can see why. Downside is not a lot of parking so come early! For my taste it is a bit pricey (comparable to Starbucks) but that's due to me mostly making lots of coffee at home. I would come here again to try different pastries and some of their signature coffee flavors.

As a local business, West Pecan Coffee has nailed everything you want in a neighborhood coffee shop- great coffee, plenty of space to spread out and work, and a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The coffee is consistently great, and it's nice that they also serve beer and wine for when you want to transition from work mode to unwind mode. Highly recommend supporting this local business.

    Vietnamese coffee - not authentic
    Sarah L.

Grew up Pflugerville so getting a cute hip coffee shop has been a nice surprise for the area. Tried their Vietnamese coffee and it's far from the traditional taste. It was fine but wouldn't order again. Also got their breakfast sandwich and it was just okay. For how much I paid I was a little disappointed in the quality. If I was staying I'd say I'm paying for the vibes but that wasn't the case. Would give them another shot. Service was pleasant.

Cranky granny's cinnamon roll and a garden party iced latte

Cute little coffee shop in downtown Plugerville with great pastries and baked goods. We got a cranky granny's cinnamon roll (another great local spot you should try!) and a garden party iced latte to go. Can't speak to the service because we weren't acknowledged when we walked in but they all seemed to be in good spirits!

Pecan Sunrise & iced coffee (not drinkable). The buns were good!

We read a lot of great reviews with high ratings so decided to check it out. LOCATION AND SERVICE: It's a quaint cafe located in the middle of downtown Pflugerville with several parking spaces in front of it. Staff were not friendly as no one really said hi to you or smiled. The wait was too long for no good reason. One of the staff members took forever to take care of the customer in front of us; she didn't seem to know what she was doing or what the customer was asking ‍ DRINKS AND BAKED GOODS: We ordered PECAN SUNRISE and just simple ICED COFFEE and neither were drinkable! My husband and I had two sips of each and had to discard them. Their iced coffee was a step down from water with (barely) coffee flavor. We were so excited about their housemade pecan milk bourbon orange zest reduction, but the taste of it reminded me the cheap artificial coffee syrup at an office cafeteria. Also, we didn't get latte art on our Pecan Sunrise which was another letdown! The only saving grace here was the cardamom bun & honey lavender bun which weren't made by them. Thus, we see no reason to come back. VERDICT: We still don't understand why this place was packed with people sitting around using their computers and paying almost $8 for a cup of coffee that tasted as bad as the free cheap coffee offered (for free) at public places or healthcare facilities that we normally turndown.

Cute little coffee spot in Pflugerville. Can't believe it took us this long to visit but we finally did. Coffee was okay but the baked goods...so good! Definitely will visit again and give the coffee another try. If you visit don't skip the almond bun. It was amazing. Staff were very friendly.

I stopped by for breakfast and got the honey nut latte, and the breakfast sandwich with bacon. My drink was so delicious. Same with the sandwich. The ambiance is also really lovely with the assortment of plants and decor. Customer service is also great. Will definitely be back!

Staff was super friendly, got there a little early so not busy just yet. I asked for recommendations and he said if I didn't like it he would swap it out. Ordered an everything nice with an extra shot and a lavender honey pastry. The coffee was solid smooth even with an extra shot, pastry was good not as good as I hoped but it was still good. I think I was thinking it was going to be more flaky less like bread but it was made beautifully and had a delicate flavor. I ordered a flat white to go for someone else, but they have me a late instead and I didn't have time to swap it out unfortunately

I've been to West Pecan Coffee once years ago, and I remember liking the vibe and the coffee. I finally visited again today, and I love the community and vibe of this coffee shop. There are so many people coming in and chatting, sipping on coffee, and listening to a local artist sing and play the guitar. My boyfriend and I got the Something Nice latte, and it was delicious. I love how large the coffee cup size is, and I even got the regular size! Even after the milk dilutes, it's still a really creamy latte. There's a little bit of spice/seasoning in the latte, and it's just a really solid choice.

A little cute display case area!

Super cute! Bohemian eclectic coffee shop! Staff is very nice and dancing to the music! Great coffee

Stopped in while I was in town and wanted to try a seasonal latte. The cashier was nice and explained the featured drinks I asked about. The latte was foamed well but the syrup flavor was just ok ( $8.39 before tip). I also waited 17 minutes for my drink as others went out ahead. I watched as they realized they forgot to make mine but when I finally asked about it, they just said it was next - no explanation. Pros: quite a bit of seating and parking.

When we found out, we rushed over for a Father's day meal. The atmosphere was pretty cool, interesting pictures on the walls, someone put a lot of effort, time and thought into the decorating of this establishment. All men running the joint, we told the guy who took our order(who was very nice), it was our first time here. They have been in business for 16 years(not at this location)! So lets get down to the food. My Husband ordered the two dog combo, one a Chicago dog, another a sauerkraut dog, it came with fries. He sad the dogs were amazing, they hit all the marks. The fries were ok, a little room temp(but to be fare we came there 30 minutes before closing). The soda's were really great, not two sirupy, not too carbonated, we enjoyed them. I ordered a pizza with Italian sausage added. They gave us our drinks for free, which was awesome. I didn't know what to expect with the pizza, but I was blown away by it. They should be very proud of the recipe they created. Most places over season/spice their sauces. The flavor of the tomato gets drowned out. This was absolutely not the case the sauce did not sow out the crust whatsoever it held its crisp the whole time. The sausage was wonderful. The cheese was everything you wanted on a pizza. I can say it's the best than crust pizza I think I've ever had. My husband tried it and we fought over who was going to be eating it for lunch tomorrow. It was huge. I wasn't expecting it to be that big. I will be dreaming about that pizza, and craving it. This is my go to place to get good pizza. It blows Nikki's out of the water. If you are craving some good then crust, pizza, or hotdog I suggest you go there. They also have chili fries, cheesesteaks, so much. They have one of those menus, where everything looks good, and it's hard to decide. Just try it. Warning, this pizza is 14 in(seemed bigger), and it being thin crust, and tasting so good, you might find yourself eating the whole thing. Wish we had pics to post, but we did not think of doing it, will do next time(which will probably be later this week, it was that good).

They offer two sizes, and we ordered the smaller regular Americana Cheesesteak, the Cartel, a shared order of fries, and two fountain drinks. Our total came to about $35, which felt like a good value for the amount of food. Service was friendly and they served our food to the table very fast. The fries were your typical frozen fries and came unseasoned, but that wasn't a big deal. We added our own seasoning. One thing to note is that they only serve Pepsi products. That's a big bummer for me because I'm a Dr Pepper girl, but it isn't a complete dealbreaker because they also offer tea. Now let's talk about my sandwich. It was loaded with so much meat that I couldn't even fit it in my mouth! I ended up taking some of the meat out and adding it to the fries, which turned out yummy. The steak was well seasoned, and the lettuce, tomato, and mayo ratio tasted perfect. If you're looking for a hearty cheesesteak that will definitely fill you up, Wise Guys is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back!

I was probably the youngest person there for lunch by about 30 years, but older people know their Breakfasts and Lunch. I always go with the Spicy Burger which has the perfect amount of spice and meaty goodness. Add a side of fries and you got a good lunch. I also like that the place has a toppings bar including their own spicy ketchup and spicy ranch. Very cool!
