If I could give this zero stars I would. I was at this location meeting a colleague. When I arrived she was already drinking a coffee, I was late so sat down and we started talking. After 2 hours we were approached by the barista and asked if we we were going to drink anything. She saw I was not drinking anything and interrogated me about why I wasn't drinking anything, I said I didn't drink coffee and she said I could order something else. I felt she was targeting us for speaking Spanish and was hinting that we should leave. I said I might order a hot chocolate and she left, came back with a hot chocolate and said I need to pay at the register. This was so rude as I did not actually order it the size or way I would have ordered it. This happened all after their so called "sensitivity training". I did not see this employee approach anyone else except the two of us who were the only Hispanics at this location. read more

Went to this Starbucks location this morning and my latte tasted horrible! My drink was so far from being a latte, I might as well asked for expresso in hot water...The person making my coffee (otherwise called a Barista, but that title is held with honor) is sooo far from being an average barista it's not even funny! Being a daily Starbucks drinker, this place is either tight with their mixes, poorly trained, or too much of being in a hurry that they don't pay attention to what a latte is supposed to taste like; or maybe a mixture of all three. I'm just glad I got a full refund and they can have their poorly made latte back. No Thank you! I will go somewhere else read more

Went to my fav starbucks there are only 2 people that make my drink just right. Today unfortunately natalie was there when she is there my drink never gets made right she tells the people how to make it even though they already know and she also is very rude so today I'm upset cause my drink doesn't taste the same :( read more

I've never been a Starbucks type of guy, maybe come thru drive thru now and then but since I moved to Phoenix this is down the street and while not having wifi at home I one here often to do some homework. I have to say the staff is amazing they are very friendly and respectful and they make you feel at home, love the variety of food items and quickness to take care of the customers. read more

I come here daily and use the mobile app when ordering. I love that it's almost always ready! I've never really had any issues.

I come here pretty often, today was by far the busiest I've seen it. Despite the long wait. I can clearly see the workers rushing to get things done. Alexis in particular I saw multiple times remind the workers about staying on top of things. The register, announcing the names rather than just the coffee being that some people have similar orders. Unfortunately, many of the Starbucks at Laveen cause an inconvenience for me and my family. Many times I have ordered a Frappuccino that was cream based and gotten a Frappuccino with coffee in it. Numerous times the Frappuccino hasn't been blended and my kids have described it as boulders in their drink. My daughters birthday was today and she wanted a caramel crunch Frappuccino and immediately as I brought it home, my oldest knew that it had coffee in it telling by the color. Me and my husband had to take it back and were livid on how many times this Starbucks has messed up. Only thing that was offered was an apology. Starbucks is already known for their great service and drinks. This location definitely exceeds my expectations. Let's start by saying I am an avid coffee drinker. The first hour or 2 of my mornings start by enjoying coffee at a Starbucks. The employees here are great, friendly, personable, and the drinks are never a let down. When I come to this location, I know that I'll be greeted by my first name when I walk in, and have my caramel macchiato with extra caramel and whip cream already rung up when I reach the register. The only question they ask me drink wise is if I would like it hot or over ice that day. Perfect! read more

Strawberry lemonade is so good.. and if u want it little sweet u can just let them know so they can add some sweetener on ur drink... and there employers seems really nice as far as I have experince.. they are really helpful and they also recommend things wen at times I get undecided to what I should order lol:) read more

yeah, yeah, yeah. i know. i love non-chain coffee houses, believe me. however, with this one very convenient, it can be hard to resist when the quenching for coffee - to satisfy my thirst - begins. one hot end of spring late afternoon, my niece and i ventured to the safeway to grab some beer for my brother, and a couple of fraps for us - including dad! every visit results in great customer service - and this visit proved such. i immediately ordered my mocha-frap only to come to realize this drink will not be served at this time. why? something to do with the machine not functioning correctly, but if i truly wanted one it would be made. the barrista noted the flavor is lacking the true essence of this drink. i appreciated her honesty, which was better than if i had ordered and she didn't say anything only to find myself bitter (like the beverage) and never to return. see what customer service does... with this being said, i thanked her and proceeded to leave to find another place that is able to make my drink... but, here is the kicker - she gave me a free beverage card. she felt bad that she was going to turn me away, and didn't want me to be upset.. or maybe, she saw my face jump into coffee despair. :) good job! read more

Best thing about this Starbucks is the people.We have 3 Starbucks in this area the one I'm reviewing is inside Safeway.The people are consistently nice,polite and their manager is a very nice person.Getting my fussy order is never a problem.Starbucks is also inside Frys,outside of Frys shopping center facing Baseline. read more

Today I ordered via mobile and ordered with soy. When I get there I am watching the girl make my drink which she puts milk in. So when she hands me my drink I ask her is there soy? She says back to me in a very smart sarcastic way. Did you order it with soy? I say yes, I did. So then she says then it has soy in it. Hands me the same drink so I walk out and toss it. I wouldn't make a stink but I am allergic to dairy that is why I ordered soy. Never will I go back! read more

Coffee was fine by the employees are quite awful. I had to start my order over three separate times because the cashier taking my order was being yelled at by other employees less that 5 feet away. It was in a playful way but it was incredibly rude and obnoxious. The same cashier that took my order has a boyfriend here and they have been chatting it up over the counter right next to where we are seated. An incredibly unprofessional environment. read more

I'm usually never one to leave reviews but this has gotten so ridiculous. I used to never have a problem with this Starbucks or staff before, however my past three visits have been horrible. I don't know if everyone who worked there previously left or what but to say this store has gone downhill would be an understatement. First off mobile order is terrible now even trying to use it. Today 3/16 I ordered my coffee and food items. Got there and stood by the mobile pick up. Not acknowledged at all. I notice it's the same people with terrible service. Like you see me standing there. And yet you're having a full blown personal convo with another girl who was standing NEXT to me. Finally got my coffee been about 5 minutes of trying to get their attention. My food items were NOT ready. They BARELY send someone to start them. Ask for a refund and then they still don't know what they're doing. What was supposed to be a quick pick up turned into 10 minutes of my time wasted and unsatisfied. This is the second time in a one week period that I've had to get a refund and it's annoying. Will not be returning. Will try the new Starbucks location that's opening and hope it's better. read more

This is literally the slowest Starbucks that I have ever been to. They take forever to make drinks when no one is even in there because they are gossiping about other employees. Don't waste your time. Go to the Starbucks in Fry's they are very quick. @ read more

I visit this location 2 to 3x a week..an the staff is great.. always very friendly...the one down side is the wait..seems no matter what time or day i visit lately seems to always a long wait even when it's non peak time.. plenty of staff but all seem to be consumed with tasks..I understand tasks need to happen, but if there guests, they should be #1priorty ..stop an help guest.. today 5 ppl in line , 2 waiting for drinks an 4 staff members i could see an only 1 man team..she was ringing orders an making while others attended to side work..finally after I made to register did someone direct another staff member to help her...during all of this the 1 staff member (Alexus), was happy, smiling, interacting with guest..kuddos to Alexus for working so hard under that much of a work load. I love this location, but miss the fast service I use to receive..i would go more often, but I have a toddler an waiting 15 min for a drink is to much.. read more

Usually most Starbucks have been consistent in their service. Their coffee usually taste the same. However, this particular star bucks have really good customer service. The people there are nice and they go above and beyond to help their customers to feel comfortable. read more

Friendly customer service. Quick and efficient. Baristas are so welcoming and kind. Two Baristas that I see quite regularly are Manas and Hunter who are the friendliest. Everytime my drink never has issues, and I have lots of customizations. Overall, the staff ensure quality service and the manager is also very personable and kind. read more
