I think this location has a difficult time with hiring, retention, and staffing. Another day of drive through only service. Whatever happened to going to a local coffee shop for some coffee and a snack meeting with friends. We were promptly turned away and asked to go into the drive through line- so we did- but what a waste of time and money for the subpar quality and experience. Everything felt rushed and sloppy. Saw a lot of people leaving empty handed and going to Dunkin' across the parking lot. It's not a bad idea going forward. read more

We go through the drive thru almost every Sunday and even though they are always busy, our coffees have always been very good, but not this morning. We had 2 lattes and a Cortada. The cortada was cold and the two lattes were cold and only half full. These drinks are way too expensive to have them be this terrible. read more

Location is obviously preparing to automate everything and operate in the future without human contact. We decided to enjoy the nice weather by grabbing a spot on the patio instead of the drive through for a change. I went in to place our order and was told they're not accepting in-person orders today bc of short staffing. That I should "go online" or get in the drive thru line. To turn away people who have made the time and effort to show up to your establishment in person in bad policy. My mom is on crutches and we brought our dog, so it was an inconvenience to get set up on the patio and have to leave right away without a purchase. The app is a hassle too bc I'd have to type in my gift card manually and scratch off the thingy. If you're short staffed: 1) schedule more people 2) managers should show up to fill in 3) let the lines get long. People can decide for themselves whether they want to wait in the line, but you should never have your employees tell a customer who is standing at a register ready to pay, to bugger off. Okay, so it's a Starbucks, but not all Starbucks are exactly the same. This one replaced the one near 24 & 55 in December, filling the only corner of the 55 & Vicksburg intersection that didn't already have a coffee shop! The Good: This one has a drive-thru window. A lot of counter seating (each with its own electrical plug!) facing a window looking out into the Fresh Thyme Farmers Market parking lot. A little electric fireplace with a few soft armchairs. A worktable that can seat 8+. Starbucks consistency, with many of the capable employees from the closed site staffing this one. The Bad: Those seats along the window are c-o-l-d! The south-facing door leads directly outside (to fair weather outdoor seating eventually?), so anyone using it creates a blast of cold air on those around the little fireplace and worktable. Yes, maybe they need it open for fire safety reasons, but they could discourage its use. The car routing out of the parking lot is convoluted, forcing you back around Fresh Thyme to eventually get out to Vicksburg. It's a bit noisy for my taste, but no worse than a lot of the ultra modern coffee shops out there. There's a Dunn Brothers across the street (to the left of Walgreens in the Lowes mall) that is more intimate and better for working. Plus they serve the coffee in real mugs for stay-in drinking. They have a drive-thru also (although again, a somewhat balky route). I like coffee shops, but I wish they had sited this Starbucks in another part of the burbs that needs one. read more

In terms of this location, it is a bit confusing to get to this location if you don't know the area that well. I got good service when I was there on 1/2/2020, using my gift card. I like the fact it is a safer place to go, compared to Wayzata Starbucks. The Wayzata Starbucks, one can get into an accident easier than this location. (I blame Wayzata not Starbucks, for road safety). Safe to get in and out of this location. Staff is good, not as good as Caribou Coffee's staff. But good enough. This review is a long time coming, but I can't say enough nice things about this Starbucks location, it's management and staff. The manager here is so kind and friendly! Whether you're a regular like me or new she will greet you and make a point to treat you special. The staff are amazing and so loyal as many of them have worked here a long time and throughout this pandemic have worked their butts off! Of course, they can get very busy and backed up sometimes with drive through but that's because they are constantly busy and I can't imagine how hectic it gets! Pandemic or not people want their coffee! But they have always stayed positive and are constantly on their feet multitasking like perfection. I usually mobile order ahead when I know it's a busy time for them and it's always ready when I get there. I go here above all other locations because they are the only location that makes my drink perfect every time! Other locations tend to add too much sugar or too much milk and I like my frappe to taste like coffee. All in all, never had a truly bad experience here even on their worst, most understaffed, most busy day they are courteous and communicate if your order is a little behind. It's a Starbucks but as everyone knows, not all Starbucks are the same. The drive through gets our orders correctly every time and staff is usually really(!) nice. And as stated above, driving in is a little convoluted. I always see cars going in the wrong way and get twisted around before finding the right way in. Some extra signs might fix it. read more

I normally really like any Starbucks. I'm a huge Starbucks fan/supporters. I would choose Starbucks over any other coffee shop. But my visit today April 12 2019 was not very good everyone was pleasant and nice except this one girl named Maria. She handed me my drink in the drive thru didn't say anything. Okay whatever. It tasted like garbage I asked for light cream the whole thing was basically whipping cream no coffee whatsoever. I went in politely apologized and asked for it to be remade. The cashier was happy and okay with it, but the girl who handed me the drink took it dumped it and was extremely rude. She was running into the other staff not saying excuse me or apologizing or even acknowledging them. She was so mad she had to remake the drink she made it as fast as possible and tossed it on the table for me didn't say sorry or is this better. This is horrible customer service and if I was her manager and/or coworker I'd hate showing up to work to work with her. read more

This coffee shop has great staff and quick service. There is decent access off Vicksburg with plenty of parking. Great space to get quick lunch our breakfast. Lots of seating with outlets near almost every seat. Beautiful fireplace as well. And, of course, delicious coffee. read more
