Tiny Starbucks with no drive thru. Most people order ahead in the app. They were so busy with pickups, yet my order was perfect. They had the best selection of pastries, too. I come here almost every morning and usually leave with a smile on my face! The baristas are always so friendly and if you go often enough, they will start to remember you and possibly your drink order if you don't change up too often! I use the drive thru on my way to work which usually take around 10 minutes start to finish around 9:30am. There are a ton of cars they service at this time so all in all, the wait isn't all the bad. You could always park and go onside to order but that would take just as long in my opinion. My drink order is always right and is always consistent no matter what I order. I do change my order frequently so consistency is key and they do a really good job of this. My go to is pretty simple, iced latte. But, I love to try all of their seasonal beverages. I recommend the pumpkin spice cold brew which is new this year. Just a hint of pumpkin so more for everyday drinking where as the traditional pumpkin spice latte is so sweet (and delicious) but I couldn't drink it everyday. They also have seasonal food items which I still haven't tried yet but plan to! My favorite breakfast items are the egg bites (any flavor) and the bacon and Gouda breakfast sandwich. That is the bomb dot com. You can go wrong when trying one of these to kick start your day with flavor plus they are so filling and it last all the way until lunch! Who would have thought just stopping in for 10 minutes a day would bring so much happiness to my day and get it started on the right foot. I love my Starbucks and everyone who works there! I have to give this Starbucks 5 stars for the incredible customer service! 15 minutes prior the staff had no idea I had just left a downtown location for lunch who refused to acknowledge us / serve us as we stood at the counter they kept their backs to us, due to our skin color, while carrying on a complete conversation with one another-hoping we would go away -it worked we walked out. I have been to almost all the Starbucks in St. Petersburg/Largo/Clearwater area. This is not solely due to the fact that I love Starbucks, but because I travel throughout the county for my job and need a place to work in between meetings. This is my favorite Starbucks in St. Petersburg. Most Starbucks serve the same drinks/food, so my favor of this one is based on three main reasons. 1. It is in a great central location and easy to get to. A little outside of downtown St. Petersburg, you can easily get to 275 or stay on 4th St. to travel to other parts of Pinellas County. 2. They have a bar with stools by a window, so there is almost always a guaranteed place to work if you are by yourself. Each seat even has an electrical outlet. 3. There is free parking. However, the lack of parking spaces is why I take away one star. Sometimes the entire lot is filled. Try to avoid those busy times (lunch time, right after work, etc.). read more

I had the most pleasant visit to this Starbucks location today. I'm not a frequent Starbucks person nor am I much of a coffee drinker. I was greeted by the two employees when I came in today with my girlfriend. Michah was at the register and helped me decide what I'd might like. They were great at answering questions and were patient with my indecisiveness. Our barista whose name I think was Katie made our drinks quickly and accurately! This location is not super busy, and seating is comfortable. However, no sofa style so perhaps designs for students or business folks that need desk space. Also, there is no drive thru if you care for that. The staff is very friendly and drinks are on par to Starbucks standard. read more

This is the only Starbucks in the universe that only has 2 people working. One at the register and one making the drinks. There's 40 people in here waiting. I'm absolutely depressed being in this establishment. Yesterday they ran out of ingredients to make a white mocha and no longer had snowman cookies, before the afternoon. Wanted to go to black crow but the fiancé had other plans. Been in here for 30 minutes and still no coffee. I grabbed a coffee at this location 2 days in a row. During my experience, I was SO impressed with the customer service. I interacted with 4 different employees, and each one of them went out of their way to be friendly and accommodate me. One of the employees actually waited by the to-go bar and handed people their drinks as they came in. Another employee was sweet enough to keep and eye on my purse for me while I ran to grab something. Their friendliness is what makes this Starbucks feel like a community coffee shop, and is the reason why I keep coming back. To top it off, the coffee is always good! Go Starbucks on 4th! I probably won't make it a habit of reviewing restaurant or coffee chains on Yelp, but I wanted to make an exception for this particular Starbucks because the employees here are really fantastic. Every time I visit, no matter how groggy, incoherent, or rushed I am--the baristas are always friendly and their pleasant demeanor is like an extra pick-me-up on top of the caffeinated deliciousness that I purchased that day. The new remodeling is great too! It seems to be a much better usage of space! Speaking of space, I've read a lot of reviews that knock down stars due to the parking situation that they can't really do anything about. They are on a busy street on the edge of a neighborhood, that's just the nature of the area I feel. If you want more of a parking challenge, try for the one downtown! Or if you want easier parking, try the one further north on the same street. Its Starbucks, if you've been driving in circles because the lot's full, you can drive 5 minutes to the next one. Just PLEASE don't be one of those people that sit in their car and decide to make a phone call, do their taxes, clip their nails, or whatever after picking up a coffee. Be courteous of other people trying to park and move out! /end rant. ;) So, the explanation for not giving it full 5 stars, I really think they should put some sort a railing or one of those metal dividing "fences" along their patio area like you see at other Starbucks. Sometimes one can feel a bit insecure sitting so close to traffic, so for this reason I try to avoid sitting outside at this location. :/ read more

This is a great starbucks and the people who work here are very nice. I come here often and enjoy the outdoor seating. As a former starbucks employee myself I can say that they have a great crew . However, I must say though that as of this moment there is a young woman who is brand new and being trained on barista. She is extremely rude and incredibly difficult to interact with. I fully intend to take this up with the manager as her behavior is unacceptable. Multiple times she has insulted customers but pretends to be friendly when shift leaders are around. This Starbucks is a little difficult to get into due to the small and busy parking lot. It also does not have a drive-thru. However, they are always very fast and efficient on the inside. We have never had service issues at this location. I typically order an Iced Vanilla Chai and it comes out perfectly mixed (it can be grainy if done incorrectly) and delicious every time. read more
