My experiences with Starbucks are continually getting worse. The amount of time I've had to wait in the last three visits to three different Starbucks has been crazy! I know they're popular and their drinks aren't easy to make, but when I'm waiting nearly 15-20 minutes for a drink, I'm thinking about looking elsewhere. Their only saving grace for me is that their pumpkin cream cold brew is one of a kind! As long as they have it, I'll keep coming. This is the nicest Starbucks in Sioux Falls due to size of the sitting area being largest. It is located at the busiest intersection in the city at Louise and 41st Street. They have a drive through and large seating area. You can order from the app ahead at this location. The only negative is the parking lot is small and it can be hard to get in and out of the parking lot. read more

Do you like flies? Because WOW is this place filled with them. Dozens - hundreds - just buzzing around on the pastries, landing on every straw on every Frappuccino... Horrible customer service! I walked in and there was one person in front of me. The girl at the counter walked away instead of helping them. So we waited for someone else to come over. After she helped that person she walked away from me. There was 3 other workers just standing around doing nothing. The place was not busy so I didn't understand why we were not being helped. I stood at the counter waiting for 3 minutes ignored, before walking out. I normally have no problem here when I order from my phone. Today was terrible! We pulled off I90 just to get to this Starbucks because it seemed the closest and easiest to get to. My husband went in and paid with my phone app. When he came out I asked him if he wanted to tip and he said yes, to give them $2 because they were really good in there. I have been here multiple times where I have asked for Sea Salt in my iced caramel macchiato and they always forget it. It is my 4th time in a row where they have forgotten it. Also, last week I ordered my usual (no sea salt was added, shocker) and they overflowed it and it spilled all over my clothes. Now I came here today with my sister and they overfilled her drink (which spilled all over her outfit, just like me last week) and she had it remade because of the spill. My sister is lactose intolerant and told them when they remade her drink that she wanted soy in it, and they put regular milk in it. I have not been impressed with them lately. The lady at the window had no idea what was going on during our drive thru order because "I did not take your order." I get that mistakes happen, but this mistake has happened too many times for me. You expect your drink to be what you order when you literally pay $6 for your drink. read more

I like to share my regular chai latte with my 7 kitties, and they each get a sip. But my precious Blimpy, one of my favorite kitties, was poisoned by this Starbucks. The drink had regular milk in it when I specifically requested coconut milk. It's almost as if they WANTED to kill Blimpy. Definitely something fishy going on. Very fast service though. read more

Great Starbucks! One of their staff, Anastasia, especially made my day! She's super friendly and sweet, and made me a cute little sample of their Salted Cream Cold Brew just because I asked about it! Honestly, this is a Starbucks next to the mall. These baristas are gonna be busy. Order ahead on your phone and it's always done correctly and on time when you get there! If you're planning on quickly swinging through the drive through, it's probably 6 cars deep and you might be delusional. Since the remodel, I've loved to sit in here and study on occasion. Well, I waited 5 minutes just for someone to take my order (and there were 4 people upfront, 1 of them doing drive thru) well then they all just scatter. The only one out there was the drive thru guy who I watched push 10 cars out of the drive thru before someone came out of nowhere and finally made my drink. Worst Starbucks I have ever been to. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not sure what changed but in the last few months I have had 4 unacceptable issues happen. I waited in line at their drive up for 20 mins. for my order. There were 2 cars ahead of me. Another time the drink I ordered was wrong. 2 times I used their mobile app on my way to work and had to wait for a refund. The first time made me late. The second time I never received a refund even after calling and being promised "it is in the mail". I'm just fed up with the extremely poor way this company is run. I think when you pay for something and don't receive it it's called theft. read more
