I checked out this Starbucks location this morning on 5/13 Because, it's close to where I live.. And I wanted to use the rest of my gift card. So, I could check out the Ube drink.. Which is supposedly ALL the rage. My drink had oat milk on the bottom. Espresso in the middle. And Ube on the top. Along with some foam. I also ordered a piece of coffee cake.. Which is ALWAYS too DIE FOR. When I cashed out. I had enough money on my gift card. Which was $11 and change.. To pay for both the drink and the coffee cake. That was a definite WIN WIN... I also left a cash tip as well. For the clerk who waited on me. Along with the barista who helped me as well. I decided to sit down and chill. Which I've NEVER done before. The really SWEET barista guy told me to let him know. If I liked the drink or not. If not he could make me something else. I did ask him if it's supposed to have sweetener in it. Because, I told him. It's missing something. He went ahead and put two pumps of sugar syrup in it. Which made it perfect. This is also my third time at this location since 2021. The last two times I was in here. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. I wanted to come back in here. And give the store one last shot. I'm so glad I did.. Because, EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY was absolutely PERFECT.. I love this Starbucks. They are always upbeat and friendly. They know my name (I know stores are supposed to try and use your first name), but they do much better than most. This Starbucks isn't worth the stop. The morning line is ridiculous and can easily waste 30 minutes of your day, only to be met with rushed and subpar service. Do yourself a favor and skip it--there are plenty of great local coffee spots nearby that are faster, friendlier, and far more enjoyable. read more

Three stars for their service. Why does this Starbucks have to close at 8 PM? If this Starbucks was open later, it could get more business. The baristas are friendly but beware: At closing time of 8 PM the baristas run everyone out of the store. Why do the baristas have to be on the unfriendly side of things at closing? Starbucks also needs to do something about their drive thru. I have seen cars line up for Starbucks, spilled out into the right northbound lane of 4 St N. I really enjoy coming here to study, this Starbucks has a great atmosphere and lots of space. One of my favorite things about this Starbucks is the staff. The always call me by name. It could be a few weeks since I've been back and they still are saying "Hi Farah!" when I come through the door. You can tell they pay attention to their customers. read more

Favorite Starbucks around! These folks really put a smile on your face and are super attentive. They have a huge interior, great to sit and read or work. These folks are also super speedy! Asked for a strawberry açaí refresher with no berries, when I received my drink there were berries which I wasn't mad about and told the cashier that I had asked for no berries. She was very nice and said no problem and that they would remake it and I was happy about that! When I got my drink , I noticed that there were little chunks of strawberries and pulp which tells me that they just strained my drink to get the berries out. I was very annoyed. I ordered a Green Apron Blend but got a Blonde. Cashier said she didn't have any drip coffee but she could make me an Americano. I declined since I was on break. I've been to Starbucks for over a decade, they can make it if they want to but they rather just dispense the coffee from the urn. My coffee tasted water down. Pro - this Starbucks is a drive thru Con - SO SLOW! I'm a person who doesn't like change, so I always order the same thing at restaurants, and I always order a Venti coffee frappuccino. There are times I get it and it's lighter in color and obviously taste. Why do I keep coming to THIS one if I have complaints? The drive thru obviously. When I meet with my friends, and we can sit down and relax at a Starbucks, this is NOT the one we come to. Convenience. But when the line is out to 4th St, I just keep driving. Additional note - couldn't the sign be a little bit more visible from the street when you're driving north on 4th? I live in this area, and always slam on my breaks because it sneaks up on me. When I'm not going to Starbucks, I intentionally go into the far left lane as other Starbucks patrons seem to have the same issue. I love the customer service and the coffee here! Needs better lot space or drive thru configuration. They get so busy that the line gets backed up into 4th St. and that line is constantly moving so its not the service Its just way too small of a space for the high traffic coming through. read more

This is a great Starbucks location. The staff is always great and friendly. It's also a great workspace all day long with nice couches. Just be careful as it's a popular location during rush hour: The drive through can backup onto 4th Street and the parking lot fills up fast. Love this little starbucks! Every time I come here there is always the sweetest girl at the drive thru window. Never had a problem here or waited very long for my order. My only complaint is that the parking lot is designed poorly and if people are trying to back out they cannot because the drive thru line is blocking them. This is my home Starbucks and it's hard for me to go to any other one because I've NEVER had a subpar experience here. The line is a lot of the times out in the road but they are so speedy and efficient that no matter the length, I'm always in and out in less than 10 minutes (and that's honestly overstating the time). As a location, this Starbucks is difficult to say the least. The line for the drive thru is frequently wrapped all the way around the store and maybe two or three cars waiting in line on 4th street as well. This is particularly the case in the morning when their can easily be 15 cars waiting. The drive through line also makes it very difficult to park in the lot so you can't app order and pick up easily as well. There is overflow parking behind the gas station next to it. Inside, this is an amazingly comfortable coffee shop. It is clean, wide open, and very accessible. Despite the volume of customers, they never seem to run out of what I'm looking for. Customer service has always been great here for me as well! Starbucks coffee will certainly scratch the itch but it's nothing to write home about. It's good but it doesn't blow you away. read more

I have driven past the location numerous times and didn't even realize it was there. I went in because I just didn't know what I wanted. I had a great experience staff rocked and the location was clean, lots of people inside working away on their computers :) It was great. This is my go to Starbucks and it's open at 5 AM.Great customer service, fast and accurate.Also they listen to your special request and actually get them right. Shelby is one of my favorite baristas, I'm always so happy to see her because she's excellent at her job and has such a contagious positive personality (awesome customer service)and that's exactly how you should be if you work in any business otherwise work in a funeral home where you don't have to be so upbeat. read more

This is the starbucks you go to if you're trying to get someone to make you a super complicated drink- the absolute correct way and without an attitude, even in the drive through. I always order off menu extra complicated drinks that literally make these poor people have to do math in order to concoct these beverages and they still do it with a smile. read more

That's because every Sum 'B in Pinellas County starts lining up at the window at 4:50 AM for coffee. There's near accidents and angry exchanges every morning as caffeine addicts jostle in and out of Fourth Street cueing up for their first fix of the day. Nearby there exists a half dozen other very good places to get a cup of coffee and even better donuts. But those other places don't make you feel as good about being up that early and starting your day. Busy like other Starbucks locations this location also offers, WIFI, seating, coffee of all kinds and same with tea. Food as well of all kinds, cups, restrooms, handicapped parking, regular parking. The drive thru is busy at times during the evening time rush when coming home from work or headed to work for the grave yard shift. The staff here are great! I've been coming to this location for over a year now, and I haven't had them ever get an order wrong. They always are very friendly, I've had the drive thru sing to me as I've approached the speaker multiple times. It is a very large location. Unfortunately it is an extremely busy location. Drive thru lines going back to the street are not uncommon. Due to the volume of business they can be rather slow. I felt as if I was amongst a group of zombies Mostly everyone was wearing earbuds and talking so loudly that I had to retreat to my car for some peace and quiet. Silly, sassy and irish? Are you sure you're at starbucks? Yes, this place is interesting because of the staff. I get a giggle every time I'm in. There is a man who works the drive through who wears a kilt and asks "how can we caffeinate you today"? I do enjoy the high tops to chill and almost always have to park in the back behind the building next door because it's always hopping. It's busy but you can usually find a place to sit. I've skyped here and had meetings as well as just relaxed. I even once overheard someone complain about their order and the wait staff took care of them immediately making sure they felt taken care of. I love this location (although every time I visit I immediately remember the day when it was an A/W root beer -long John silvers location). That is a good thing in the fact that this location has TONS of indoor seating. They have high tops, couches, community tables and little 2 tops. The baristas are extra friendly and my favorite is Arthur-he's a true asset to Starbucks. If you visit regularly enough, Arthur is really good at remembering you drink. Another reasons why I like this location is they have a communal crossword puzzle at the countertop where you pick up your drink.
