Very very good, filling and delicious vegan and gluten free food. All the things I didnt think I'd get to eat again are here!!! Doughnuts, beignets, cookies, cakes, sandwiches. I loved my experience and I plan to return again and again.

This place is a godsend. The cakes, donuts, and all the treats are truly delicious. They feel very indulgent without any food allergen products. I don't eat gluten free but let me tell you I enjoy getting myself a treat here. My nephew suffers from all types of food allergies and this is the only place I can get him treats that are gluten and dairy free which is tough to find both. They have a freezer of frozen pre made cakes ready to go which is perfect. We have also tried there frozen knots which are great. Thank you for offering such great products that are gluten and dairy free. It's expensive but worth every penny for my nephew.

This is a great little place. The food is gluten free and was delicious! We found it off the main street. Very friendly staff too

Gluten free and delicious! I have celiac so I appreciate the details and the options here. I came to visit from out of town and found this place and I kept coming because it's so good. I made a Custom bagel breakfast sandwich and also had a matcha latte which was very filling and I felt amazing after. Very clean and great fast service! I believe the owner was there and she was so helpful when I asked questions and very attentive. I love this place !

Coffee yes- this food isn't for me, but have vegan friends that like it. Nice looking establishment inside though!

We tried HaleLife for the first time today. My husband has a gluten sensitivity so we really appreciate a gluten free bakery and bistro option. We are not vegan but try to include as much plant based foods as possible. My family ordered the breakfast tacos, loaded tots and the breakfast sandwich via UberEats. The presentation was beautiful. Appreciate the eco friendly packaging. The breakfast tacos were delish! The ingredients were super fresh, flavors were excellent. We really loved the spicy mayo on top. They were perfection. We also enjoyed the loaded tater tots. The tots were extra crispy, the cheese and herb topping were yummy and the right ratios. Can't wait to order those again. The breakfast sandwich was good but a little plain. Could have used a sauce. There is the option to add avocado so we will try that in the future. We really enjoyed our first experience and can't wait to order again soon!

This is a really cute bakery. I got an iced coffee which was good. The avocado toast was by far the best kind I've had. The gluten free bread was so good you couldn't tell it was GF. The only downside is it is very pricy but it was really yummy!!

Amazing! Delicious drinks, breakfast, lunch, smoothies, endless options and all delicious! I can't believe they had chocolate filled beignets! I haven't had beignets in decades, probably since before I went GF! I got that and breakfast sandwich and both were amazing and homemade bread and all. And it's pet friendly! I left my pups in the car to order and then came back and the owner offered in the future to just bring the pups in when ordering! 2 of my favorite things about a restaurant: good GF options and very pet welcoming!

A lovely place to hang out and do homework. I had ordered a coffee and sandwich earlier and was just focusing on my paper when one of the behind the counter asked if I wanted free donuts since they were testing their designs for pride month that day. It was such a nice surprise! Really made my week. Thank you so much!

I've been coming to Halelife for a long time. I'm vegan and I love all the choices offered here! They had a lot of seasonal flavors and I decided to get the gingerbread donut!! Omg Omg soooo sooo good! They also had eggnog, pumpkin maple biscuit etc. The cashier was also very helpful in helping to make this selection.

This review is about the newer location in St. Petersburg, FL. Our adult son unfortunately has recently become allergic to gluten, rye, and barley. I was searching for a place who sold fresh gluten free donuts because that's something he loved to eat. I was pleasantly surprised that they had donuts and they had a lot of options for people with gluten & dairy allergies. I actually had a donut myself and it tasted good (not as good as with gluten, but what can you do). The only reasons this review is lacking 2 stars is because when my son ate the donut I bought here, he actually had a reaction. His stomach hurt & threw up the donut. I don't know why. I'm not saying there was gluten in it because I highly doubt that, but just letting everyone know that he did react. The other 2 donuts left (we ordered 4) our oldest son (no allergies) ate and he enjoyed them. The other reason for the lack of 2 more stars is the price. Each donut is $6!!! I understand it takes certain ingredients to make stuff gluten free, but why SO much money?!? Just as much time as you would make a regular donut is the same time to make a gluten free donut. So time can't be a reason for the high prices. I also bought the cinnamon rolls and they were never eaten because it passed the expiration date. That's another thing. If you're going to buy something that is gluten free (anywhere unless it's frozen), it MUST be eaten soon. Otherwise, it's no good. With all that being said, I would tell anyone with an allergy to gluten, to try something small first and don't go often because it can get expensive. Learn to make it at home. That's what I've started doing. RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENT: There was one other reaction to the donut. Someone had migraines. Look it up on your reviews. As for the costs, I understand now.

    Cupcakes and donuts!

This place is awesome and I am so happy that I discovered it. One of my friends is a vegan, so anytime that she hosts a dinner, I like to bring a dessert along with me. I'm always cautious of what I'm bringing because of her vegan lifestyle. And now I have a go to spot for desserts. The cupcakes taste amazing. I honestly feel like if you didn't tell me they were vegan I would never have guessed. They're nice and moist and nicely decorated. I also purchased two donuts and they were also equally delicious! I ordered from the website and it couldn't have been any easier. I just went through, added the items to my cart, picked my date and time for check out, and paid! Super easy! When I went to pick it up, they had it all nice and ready for me. The lady even gave me advice on how to keep it fresh, since I wouldn't be having them till the next day. The staff are so nice and welcoming as well. They're also taking covid very seriously. Six feet apart and one person in the bakery part at a time. So I'm very appreciative of that! Looking forward to future trips there!

Wine and beer varietals, many types and sizes of chips and a walk-in beer and wine cooler. The place has a welcoming, comfortable and casual feel throughout. Tables, chairs and a sofa reminiscent of Aunties or Grandma's place where you can slow your roll and reminisce. I was greeted by a friendly young man who confirmed I could order breakfast. On the boards overhead a long list of options. Mostly Wraps, Sanwiches and Salads. As well as a list of available breads. They are open from 8am to 8pm. Just before I ordered came an offer, "you can add or take off anything or choose any of the breads for any sandwich". I knew right away what I wanted. Extra Bacon BLT on pressed Cuban Bread. The results were sublime, every bite the same, the perfect crunch, uniform throughout, tempered by the exact proper portions of mayo, lettuce and tomato on warm pliable bread. Artistry for the palate and senses. I know a good sandwich when I taste one. Tonight was one of those--with just a little salt in the air and a soft island rhythm tapping its foot in the background. I sat down at Pepo's and was served a plate of roasted pork resting there like it knew it belonged--tender, patient, and full of purpose--laid over a bed of warm yellow rice. There were chopped white onions scattered about, honest and bright, alongside black beans that tasted like they'd been simmering all afternoon without a single worry in the world. And then there was the yucca. Not firm or stubborn--no sir. It had been cooked long enough to give up its starch and relax a bit, turning soft and generous, almost like stewed potatoes that had wandered too close to butter and garlic and decided to stay awhile. Comforting in that slow, unhurried way... the kind that makes you lean back in your chair and exhale. But it was that pork... well, that pork had a story. A quiet one. The gentle punch of Cuban mojo--sour oranges and garlic shaking hands just right--bringing along sunshine, music, and that unmistakable feeling that you're exactly where you're supposed to be. Not flashy. Just honest. Like a good song played at the right volume. Truth be told, the meal was so good that before I left, I ordered a Cuban sandwich to go, along with a Cuban tamale--already looking forward to lunch tomorrow while flying back toward the Northeast, tracing the Florida coastline below. I imagine it'll taste just as good at altitude, maybe even better, with a little daydreaming and a smile. You know, meals like this don't just feed you. They put you at ease. And I can tell you this much--I'll be back one day. Because when food makes you feel this welcome, you don't forget it. You just carry it with you... maybe humming a tune as you go.
