Cute little coffee spot in St Pete - yummy coffee and pastries with a very cool vibe!

One of my favorite coffee spots in St Pete! The specialty coffees are so tasty and the food is delicious as well. My favorites are the ice ice baby latte and the breakfast burrito! It's a little loud to work there but there are plenty of tables if you have some noise canceling headphones!

Starting with the positives, the overall atmosphere inside was adorable. It's one of the cutest coffee shops I've been to in St Pete for sure. Unfortunately, everything else disappointed me. The parking situation is kind of a nightmare, there are cars parked all over, the streets are tiny, and the lot is mayhem. I proceeded to order my coffee with no cold foam, but as you can see in the picture, the cold foam is very much present. The girl at the register repeated back to me "no cold foam?" So I know there wasn't a misunderstanding there. The coffee is also veryyyy acidic. I know it's hard to believe that underneath the sugary latte I got, I can still taste the acidity of the beans, but it's the primary flavor I get. Despite how cute it is inside, I don't think I'll be back.

The ambiance of this place is really cool and unique, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was just okay overall. The fries tasted like they were frozen, though the sauce was flavorful. Unfortunately, the latte had a burnt espresso taste. While the food and drinks didn't stand out to me, the atmosphere is what makes this place worth visiting, and I'd consider coming back for the vibe alone.

This is a really neat concept and vibe here at Coffee Concrete. It's a hip coffee shop with extra spaces to sit and where other vendors share the space, so it's coffee but so much more. They do serve brunch as well, and some yummy looking baked goods. We did try the ube s'mores cookies because it looked too good not to try but it was a tiny bit disappointing- the marshmallow was nice but needed to be all over the cookie. Otherwise it was kind of a basic sugar cookie that didn't stand out, I hate to say. However, the coffee stole the show. They have a yummy selection of fun specialty drinks so I ended up trying a salted caramel type latte- it was blended so well between the caramel flavoring, espresso and milk, just wonderful. Plus, it came in the cutest cup- Love you, Coffee Concrete! The extra spaces beyond the coffee bar were pretty neat too. My one complaint would be how insanely loud they were playing the music. We only stayed to order coffee and wait for it to be made, and if it had been any longer I might've started to get a headache because of how noisy it was. I don't know if it's like that all the time but it was not pleasant.. Everything else, the atmosphere and setup and service was stellar though!

Sugar Baby has been my fave coffee spot in St Pete so I knew I'd like the drinks here. The line was out the door at 10am Sunday morning. I was probably in line for 30 minutes. When I actually ordered it only took about 4 minutes for them to call my name with my half sweet Ice Ice Baby and lemon muffin. The atmosphere is grunge and loud. Merch for sale, DJ on wknds, interesting ascetic with unfinished ceilings and a car inside for show. Not a place to read or get work done but delicious of course cause it's Sugar Baby!

This place has a really cool interior and a unique theme. There's a car in the middle of the seating area and the tables look like rocks. It's located inside of a garage which really solidifies the theme as well! It's not your typical cozy coffee shop vibe. There's service was great, if you order your drinks/food for here they will come bring it out to you. I ordered a smoked salt latte, and the quality of the coffee was incredible. My only problem was that it didn't taste like smoked salt at all, which was a bit disappointing. I'll still be back to try other flavors though as I liked the coffee itself!

This place is good! We went on a Sunday so the DJ was there and it was poppin. The decor is cute and chill. There was still seating inside and plenty outside, so we opted for outside since it was a nice day. I got their burnt honey latte which was so good. We also had the blueberry lemon latte which was very bloob and also very good! The breakfast burritos are filling and delicious. The food truck out back will text you once your food is ready. The Thai tea scone is unique and does actually taste like Thai tea. We would absolutely come back again.

Such a unique spot!! As a fan of Sugar Baby coffee, I've been dying to get in here and check out the space. Really cool vibe inside and I know it would be even better on a weekend when the DJ is playing. My breakfast sandwich tasted fantastic but was pretty messy (taste is most important, anyways!) and it came from the food truck out back. There's indoor and outdoor seating. My coffee was delicious but that was to be expected given that it's from Sugar Baby. I sat and worked for awhile but had to put my headphones in because the music was pretty loud. Note to self: come here with friends rather than plan for a productive work morning!

This place was packed on a Tuesday afternoon - after trying their cookie butter latte, I can see why! Sooo good & they have so many unique latte options. The space is open and cool with outdoor seating available. Lots of people working on their laptops here. Service was friendly & fast. Overall good experience!

One of the best iced strawberry matcha drinks I have had! So glad I was able to give this place a try. Service was fast and friendly the place is very large lots of areas to sit and relax and grab a delicious drink. They have breakfast/beunch food and pastry options too! Easy parking in the lot as well. Definitely recommend!

If Burning Man and WeWork had a baby diagnosed with ADHD, this would be it. Don't get it? Think David Bowie's 'Labyrinth' meets 'Central Perk' from Friends. Vibey, artsy, and very comfortable. It makes absolutely no sense if you over think it, but it makes perfect sense if you just accept it. From what I understand, this place is a collab between concrete design firm 'Firm 43' and 'Sugar Baby'. Whatever the case, we need more of this..... everywhere. I ordered the iced Smoked Salt latte with coconut milk, and the highly recommended (and apparently recently perfected) salmon toast. I concur- it was perfection. Loved it and made the perfect first brunch for my first ever visit to Saint Pete. There is a very comfortable, airy patio by their own food truck/trailer, which is where I would have stayed to work the rest of the day, but I really wanted to see the diverse folk sitting, frolicking, working, and collabing inside. Also there is a vintage Porsche Carrera parked in the middle of the cafe, and staring at it while I type this reviewing is akin to watching my favorite fitness influencer, @Deemariedi, stretching beside me as I attempt to do my 3 pull-ups. It just works. The staff here is very welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. This is easily going to be my top go-to coffee/work spot in St Pete.

Super cool vibe here. Totally different than what we have in the area. Reminded me of a garage or a basement and times in college. They have coffee, tea, drinks here all kinds definitely unique and eye catching. They also are getting local bakers for their pastries. In addition they have local vendors to sell some cute stuff like flowers, apparel, jewelry, candles. Good amount of tables, chairs and sofas which I love. Upbeat and chill music and dj's. Lots of parking can be found here too. I was in btw a sweet corn latte and a birthday latte. It was the three year anniversary for sugar baby. This is a new location. I picked the birthday latte and my husband picked the Smokey salted caramel latte. All were wonderful along with a NGOT (local bakery) Nutella Crossaint. Would definitely come back here. Love that you can have space to enjoy your drinks and chill with cool laid back music. Great service as well!!

When it first opened it was a little more plain, but lately their specialty lattes have been off the charts. Their cannoli late specifically, tastes just like the desert and even comes with a little cannoli on top, so cute. With that said, there are a few kinks to work out. The food is just not good. I was very excited to try the Mexican street corn avocado toast, but was unfortunately disappointed. The toast was tough and stale. They used so much lime in the avocado base as well as the corn mixture, I wasn't able to taste anything but lime. The flavors of the corn & cotija cheese, or avocado just didn't come through at all. I also tried the truffle tots. For the price, I was disappointed to see that they were just frozen bagged tots, but to make things worse they were barely cooked and soggy. They had a little sprinkle parm on them and while they smelled a little bit like truffle, the flavor didn't come through. Another woman in the cafe nearby my seat sent back her food and complained that it wasn't cooked thoroughly while I was there. On another note, when I first tried this spot over a year or so ago, the home items were organized nearly. Now, it is kind of a visual disaster. It feels like going into my grandmas house where there is just one of everything, the tables are filled with things that have nothing to do with each other, everything is just super close together with no humor reason. It's giving hodge-podge. Lastly, I will say this is a fantastic place to get some work done. There are plenty of tables and always a few other people working. If they made some changes, this place would be a more regular spot for me as I live right down the street, but currently there are a few better options within walking distance. This place is worth trying at least once.

The only downside honestly is the service. I had to explain multiple times how I wanted the sandwich made with the toppings side by side and the person taking the order just wasn't really understanding what I was asking for. Even after explaining it again, it still wasn't clicking, which was frustrating. I've noticed this pretty much every time we come here. The staff never really seems approachable or friendly and the customer service could definitely improve, especially when tips are being requested. A smile and better communication would honestly make such a huge difference because the food is genuinely great. We also tried the matcha latte for the first time, and unfortunately it wasn't good at all. Maybe it's new, but it definitely needs some improvement. Overall, we still love coming here because the food keeps us coming back, but the service has consistently been lacking. Realistically the service is probably a 3, but because we love the place and the food so much, I'll still give it a 4.
