Cute spot by the FloridaRama/St Pete fairgrounds. Lots of parking. It was packed this morning on Mother's Day Sunday at 10am but they were quick with the drinks/patrons were patient and there was a dj so barely felt like there was a wait. I came to test the matcha as a non matcha drinker bc it's highly recommended and got the iced strawberry matcha. The strawberry stuff was fresh and yummy. Hid the matcha well but I would probably still prefer a coffee, which I will definitely get next time I come. They had singular free flowers for Mother's Day - beautiful touch. And flowers for sale as well as a charm booth selling some lip gloss etc. I didn't see the sign at the bottom of the front door saying no pets and I did bring my cat in its stroller while I ordered but everyone was kind/didn't tell me to wait outside or anything. It has lavender and activated charcoal. Very good flavor drink. I recommend this drink. I like the shop decorations. It is very hip. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast burritos, period! I also love trying new coffees every time I'm here because Sugar Baby is fantastic. Their small U-shaped iced beverage cups are so freaking cute...weird thing to say about a plastic cup, I know, but I hadn't ever seen U-shaped cups that small before. This place overall was pretty good. It was probably very busy so the customer service was OK. The cashier kept forgetting so many things and we had to keep reminding her but maybe it's just not her day so which is fine but I think she forgot to charge the lady before us too. Anyways, the coffee and the food were pretty good. The whole place was a vibe. They have good music there and I love there was a Porsche in the middle of this coffee shop. I love the aesthetics of this coffee shop. They really lean into the concrete theme here and even have a concrete mixer in the back patio. I ordered a Beach Day Latte (iced) and Coconut Crunch Bowl. I was informed that the food items are prepared by the food truck in the back and that I would receive a text when it would be ready to pick up there. I never got the text but luckily I decided to wander back there and check. The latte really did look like a beach, and the flavors were OK. The Coconut Crunch Bowl was fine - refreshing to have in the heat, but personally overpriced for what it is. I wouldn't mind coming back here. The flavors could be a little stronger, but overall it was super tasty. I also tried the ube cookie and man was that delicious! This is a really neat concept and vibe here at Coffee Concrete. It's a hip coffee shop with extra spaces to sit and where other vendors share the space, so it's coffee but so much more. They do serve brunch as well, and some yummy looking baked goods. We did try the ube s'mores cookies because it looked too good not to try but it was a tiny bit disappointing- the marshmallow was nice but needed to be all over the cookie. Otherwise it was kind of a basic sugar cookie that didn't stand out, I hate to say. However, the coffee stole the show. They have a yummy selection of fun specialty drinks so I ended up trying a salted caramel type latte- it was blended so well between the caramel flavoring, espresso and milk, just wonderful. Plus, it came in the cutest cup- Love you, Coffee Concrete! The extra spaces beyond the coffee bar were pretty neat too. My one complaint would be how insanely loud they were playing the music. We only stayed to order coffee and wait for it to be made, and if it had been any longer I might've started to get a headache because of how noisy it was. Sugar Baby has been my fave coffee spot in St Pete so I knew I'd like the drinks here. The line was out the door at 10am Sunday morning. I was probably in line for 30 minutes. When I actually ordered it only took about 4 minutes for them to call my name with my half sweet Ice Ice Baby and lemon muffin. The atmosphere is grunge and loud. Merch for sale, DJ on wknds, interesting ascetic with unfinished ceilings and a car inside for show. Not a place to read or get work done but delicious of course cause it's Sugar Baby! read more

This place is good! We went on a Sunday so the DJ was there and it was poppin. The decor is cute and chill. There was still seating inside and plenty outside, so we opted for outside since it was a nice day. I got their burnt honey latte which was so good. We also had the blueberry lemon latte which was very bloob and also very good! The breakfast burritos are filling and delicious. The food truck out back will text you once your food is ready. Super cool vibe here. Totally different than what we have in the area. Reminded me of a garage or a basement and times in college. They have coffee, tea, drinks here all kinds definitely unique and eye catching. They also are getting local bakers for their pastries. In addition they have local vendors to sell some cute stuff like flowers, apparel, jewelry, candles. Good amount of tables, chairs and sofas which I love. Upbeat and chill music and dj's. Lots of parking can be found here too. I was in btw a sweet corn latte and a birthday latte. It was the three year anniversary for sugar baby. This is a new location. I picked the birthday latte and my husband picked the Smokey salted caramel latte. All were wonderful along with a NGOT (local bakery) Nutella Crossaint. Would definitely come back here. If Burning Man and WeWork had a baby diagnosed with ADHD, this would be it. Don't get it? Think David Bowie's 'Labyrinth' meets 'Central Perk' from Friends. Vibey, artsy, and very comfortable. It makes absolutely no sense if you over think it, but it makes perfect sense if you just accept it. From what I understand, this place is a collab between concrete design firm 'Firm 43' and 'Sugar Baby'. Whatever the case, we need more of this..... everywhere. I ordered the iced Smoked Salt latte with coconut milk, and the highly recommended (and apparently recently perfected) salmon toast. I concur- it was perfection. Loved it and made the perfect first brunch for my first ever visit to Saint Pete. There is a very comfortable, airy patio by their own food truck/trailer, which is where I would have stayed to work the rest of the day, but I really wanted to see the diverse folk sitting, frolicking, working, and collabing inside. Also there is a vintage Porsche Carrera parked in the middle of the cafe, and staring at it while I type this reviewing is akin to watching my favorite fitness influencer, @Deemariedi, stretching beside me as I attempt to do my 3 pull-ups. It just works. The staff here is very welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. This is easily going to be my top go-to coffee/work spot in St Pete. read more

Love the interior of this building! They have a bunch of seating from tables to couches and barstool seating along the back wall. The decor changes as the holidays do but at the time of this review they have an old truck (VW i think) in the center of the room with pumpkins in the trunk for fall. I liked both the lattes i got here - i did one hot (vanilla latte) and one iced (charcoal lavender latte). The charcoal one was very unique so I definitely recommend at least trying it once! I have tried their ham & cheese croissant & a chicken wrap from their food truck out back - both were great and I would order them again! Ive worked from here twice now, both times i liked the music and vibes going on in the shop. The staff has always been super kind which i appreciate. It can get busy and a little hectic but they staff deals with it well. With all that being said, you'll definitely see my working here more! read more

New favorite unlocked! This coffee shop transports you to another city. I didn't feel like I was in St Pete (even though don't get me wrong St Pete is very cool) - it felt like NYC or LA. Incredible space, aesthetically pleasing decor, beautiful art installations and car feature (today was a motorcycle, I know previously was a collectible Porsche) The pastries options were amazing! Starting with the positives, the overall atmosphere inside was adorable. It's one of the cutest coffee shops I've been to in St Pete for sure. Unfortunately, everything else disappointed me. The parking situation is kind of a nightmare, there are cars parked all over, the streets are tiny, and the lot is mayhem. I proceeded to order my coffee with no cold foam, but as you can see in the picture, the cold foam is very much present. The girl at the register repeated back to me "no cold foam?" So I know there wasn't a misunderstanding there. The coffee is also veryyyy acidic. I know it's hard to believe that underneath the sugary latte I got, I can still taste the acidity of the beans, but it's the primary flavor I get. Despite how cute it is inside, I don't think I'll be back. read more

Sugar Baby brought the food & drink and Form 43 supplied the space - industrial, boho, organic. On Sundays there's a DJ playing mellow techno funk. The vibes inside were immaculate. I love when you can go somewhere and everything seems laid back, good music, and plenty of seating. It's a coffee shop you can come read at or eat and leave. It's a great place to meet friends or family for a quick or long chat. It's close to other st Pete high lights as well--with fairgrounds across the street! The food was good, but definitely heavy and filling with a coffee. The coffee is super good. You can get it in various flavors and i recommend asking it to go for a cute cup! Specifically I recommend the holiday peppermint coffee! Most peppermint coffees taste like fake syrup, but this one was light and refreshing. The first time I came to this establishment, I was excited by the physical plant. Once the novelty of everything being concrete wears off, then reality sets in. This was a deeply disappointing visit that missed the mark on so many levels: comfort, and basic café expectations. Coffee Concrete in St. Petersburg felt more interested in projecting an image than creating a welcoming space for customers who want to relax or work. The overall vibe is harsh and uninviting. Rather than feeling like a neighborhood coffee shop, the space comes across as intentionally abrasive, which makes it hard to enjoy even a short stay. Here's why. The hip-hop music played during my visit featured explicit and vile lyrics, including repeated use of the N-word. This was loud, unavoidable, and completely out of place for a public café environment. It created discomfort rather than ambiance and made the space feel hostile instead of inclusive. I'm willing to bet the staff was completely oblivious to what I was hearing in the music. For a coffee shop, especially one that appears to cater to creatives and remote workers, the lack of adequate electrical outlets is a serious flaw. Outlets are extremely limited and seating near power sources is scarce or nonexistent. Working on a laptop for more than a short time is impractical. Between the aggressively inappropriate music and the poor infrastructure for customers who want to sit and work, Coffee Concrete fails at some of the most basic expectations of a modern café. There are far better coffee shops in St. Petersburg that offer a respectful atmosphere, functional seating, and a genuinely welcoming experience. So unless you're under 25 this is probably not the place to be. read more

This place is such a vibe!! The space is pretty big with a good amount of seating. We went on a Saturday and they had a live DJ which was fun. We ordered the matcha latte with vanilla bean and one of their signature matcha strawberry lattes. For the regular matcha latte, I wish there was more vanilla/vanilla bean flavor - it wasn't bad but just wish there was a stronger flavor. But the strawberry matcha was delicious - would recommend getting this. Loved that it was also right next to the FloridaRama, good location with good amount of parking spots. read more
