I never write reviews but this was such a sweet interaction I felt I had to share how fabulous this staff was. When we walked in everyone greeted us with genuine smiles and enthusiasm. Ayden took our order and asked what we were doing today, and we let him know sadly we lost a family member here so we travelled from Portland for the service. He expressed his condolences, and when our order was ready he threw in some extra goodies. He didn't know how sudden and upsetting this loss was, and his simple act of care and love brought a smile to our faces. Wishing good karma on this kind staff! read more

I always have an issue with the plaza Starbucks. The location is hard to Get in and out of... so if your drunk is wrong (like today, no chocolate in my mocha) it's hard to Go back in and ask for it to be added. read more

Pretty good service @ Starbucks, Plaza Way in Walla Walla WA. Night run an hour before closing. We decided to walk into the storefront to place our order. The staff acknowledged us upon entry, but they had drive-thru traffic to attend to, so we waited a couple minutes. Minimal wait time to receive our order of two hot drinks, then we were on our way. The store itself was clean and organized. Nice decor and bulletin board with current information and local events. Best hot vanilla latte I've had in a bit!! Their lobby is always closed, forcing you to wait forever in their drive thru for mobile orders. Totally removes the benefit of a mobile order when your drinks have to sit an additional 15-30 mins as you wait in line. What if I was on foot? Do I have to walk in the drive thru? read more

This is a backup store for the times when you don't have time to drive downtown and find a parking spot so you can run in and grab your favorite beverage. This Starbucks is located in a hard to leave strip mall containing only two stores--Starbucks and Metro PCS. Next door is a day spa. If you try to turn left out of the parking lot the lights are set so that only one direction seems ever to be open. It's easier to just turn right and drive a little further. Parking is pitifully lacking, although, to be honest, there are at least 11 parking slots. The inside of the store is acceptable but it does not exude a cozy vibe. Most people use the drive through as it is very convenient for people driving into town from Milton-Freewater. For years I was always frustrated at the frequency with which they screwed up my drink here. However, in the past couple of years, my drink here has been spot on. read more

Confession time: For several years, I ended up here every third and fourth Wednesday of the month for a collaboration meeting, but times change, people move on and the new people don't drink Starbucks or coffee (gasp). Location: The drive-thru is very convenient, and the location is open at times when the downtown one is not (Christmas day). There is also a Starbucks in the Safeway (the Safeway that you can actually see standing in the parking lot of this Starbucks), if you are desperate for a fix while you are grocery shopping. Drinks: Consistency is an issue here. My usual drink just doesn't taste the same here as the downtown location. Perhaps the pulls aren't perfect or perhaps it's psychosomatic because I'm not downtown. Whatever it is, when I'm going to this location, I just don't order my favorite drink any longer. Of course, I have several second favorite drinks, so it really isn't a problem. Service: I did mentioned my drink problem to a barista once, and I was given a free drink to see if they could match the taste to the downtown location, but no luck. I have to say that was pretty great service on their part. Parking: The small parking lot can be a problem, as there have been times when it was completely full, but downtown has no parking lot nor a drive-thru. People watching: There aren't many tourists who walk by or come in after a day of wine tasting here. So, people watching is limited. Definitely go downtown if you want action. If you are coming for a meeting, to study, or to read a book quietly, this location will suffice. read more

Worst service from a Starbucks EVER! We walked into this Starbucks and I walked up to the counter to order my coffee. My sister was looking for a restroom. The barista yelled out to the restaurant. 'Are you looking for a restroom' and my sister said yes, and the lady yelled again, go to Dairy Queen and turn her back on us. There were two other people behind the counter and out of the three of them working nobody asked if we wanted to order anything. They didn't say anything else to us. We stood there for 30 seconds to a minute (felt like forever) awkwardly and uncomfortably before my sister turned around and walked out of the restaurant.....as she's walking out the door (she has not said a word other than yes the entire time we were in there) the first barista screams at her very loudly to 'have a nice day' Then I say 'can I order some coffee' and I'm ignored. I feel very awkward and out of place at this point, and so I turn around to walk out of the restaurant and the barista screams (and screams and I mean very loudly and aggressively) 'have a nice day' i'm not sure why my sister saying yes to you using the restroom set this person off, but the two women behind the counter were rude, aggressive, and never once treated us like customers. There are other Starbucks in town that I would go to instead of this one because nobody deserves to be treated that way. read more

I'm not the only one disgusted with this store. They not only removed all the tables and chairs in this store, but you can't even fix your coffee with half and half or milk anymore. I am disabled and I find this appalling. I went in to get a coffee but I cannot stand while waiting for them to make my coffee because there are 10 cars lined up outside and they make you wait too long. When I asked why they have chairs I was told it was "not profitable to their bottom line", what happened to the friendly Starbucks atmosphere? Now it's only about the almighty dollar. Then after asking why there is no 1/2 & 1/2 I was told they don't want customers to fix their own coffee. So after clearing asking for 1/2&1/2 she just ignored my request and ended up putting low fat milk in my coffee which I didn't discover until after I left. So I had to throw the whole thing in the garbage. This store is disgusting. Clearly they don't like their customers and hate for us to even be in the store. Why aren't you reading the Yelp reviews? I will be posting this any place I can find because this store is hateful. And they show the disabled that they hate us. Maybe I'll contact my attorney. read more

We woke up early and can't find many places that open early enough to serve breakfast. Therefore, we came here for breakfast and coffee/tea. There were not many people. At some point, there were more staff than customers in the store. But, the staff in the store was friendly and busy with their chores. When you can't find a local coffee shop, Starbucks will always be there for you :P read more

Where do I begin? The drive up was around the corner so we ran in (my husband and I ) to get a quick cup of dark brew, nothing else. 5 or 6 employees behind the counter and 1 running the counter walk ins. We waited 20 minutes in line (not moving) while that one employee toasted the bagel and got different drinks. No acknowledgement of anyone in the long line. When we finally got waited on, there was no "Thank you for waiting." We got our drinks quickly at that point, however they were weak for being dark roast. It was very watery. I don't think I'll be returning to this location if I can help it. read more

After working all day in Milton-Freewater, I needed a cold drink and it had to be a vente iced mocha to get me started on the road back to Pugetopolis. This Starbucks looks like a hangout for a younger crowd of students given that Walla Walla is a college town. Good friendly service as always from Starbucks, nothing really unique or special here. The location is a bit tricky to get in and out during the rush hour but drivers in Walla Walla are exceedingly polite and I was able to scoot right out. read more

I absolutely love this Starbucks. It's bright, conveniently located and the drive-thru is helpful in a pinch. But what really gives this place 5 stars is the staff. They are unbelievably thoughtful and kind. They often bring out samples to all the tables, just to be nice. Once a friend and I were outside chatting and we had finished our drinks. A staff member brought out cups of ice water for us just because she thought we might be thirsty in the sun. It's also remarkably clean--they clean it constantly throughout the day, so it's basically sparkling. Really, they are all wonderful and I spend plenty of time there working. Check it out! read more

I love Starbucks and I go every single day. This one is usually slower than the Main Street one (we go whenever we are in town visiting Walla Walla). But today was a hot mess in there. The young workers all looked to be between 16 and 22 and they definitely acted like it...yelling and flirting and not really doing much of anything. There wasn't a line at all and it took us over 10 min to get 2 drinks. Their bar was an absolute mess but they didn't wipe it up. I think from now on we will only stick to the Main Street store when we come to Walla Walla. read more

I just spent 20 minutes in a drive thru line for a latte and what was supposed to be a scone. I've never sat in a coffee drive thru line for anywhere close to 20 minutes. I asked what scones were available, and was given two choices. I asked for the Vanilla option, heated up. What I received was a bite sized, cold pastry with frosting. They had forgotten I even ordered the "scone", so I sat at the window for an additional few minutes. No apologies for the wait were given, nor were there any smiles. I won't be back. read more

So me and my friend want it a berry verry tea so I normally get the 30z one and she got the 24z one first of all the car in front of us would not move up he had at least 12 inches behind other car so we waited for like 15 minutes to move up so we finally got to the window she handed my friend hers and shes like we order a 30z one too she's like Oh you did and my friend was like umm Yea so we paid and she handed me the 20z one! Does she not know the difference between a 20z and a 30z! Their tazo tea is pretty good but the coffee was stale and burnt tasting, given that you don't get a lot of syrup with your drink. It's a nice meeting place though, and it's the only real coffee shop in Walla Walla that I know of. read more

I ordered a dopio, and it tasted like ear wax. When I asked them to remake it, they wanted to know if I wanted to add some flavor as if adding syrup could make up for bad coffee. The second dopio which they made restritto was nearly as bad so I left and dumped it. read more
