had another day off and nothing scheduled until evening so out touring the near east. one of the welders suggested the fort/museum in the morning so I came over to get some breakfast and check it out :-) nice morning today with clear skies and a light breeze and not a whole lot of traffic so why not sit out of doors and enjoy the fresh air!?! bummer part is that I had to go inside to place an order (now that I have their wifi I can just pick a table and order on line for delivery) went with the biscuits and gravy plus turkey sausages and a big black coffee. ...I stopped drinking coffee for effect a long while ago but the stuff they're pushing here takes me back to way back... took about ten minutes for the food to show up; piping hot on a real plate with a real fork! thanks destiny! gravy losing the sausage bits is possibly the greatest tragedy of the plandemic but a dash of red pepper helps it out and we get by well enough. biscuits are more like split pones; toasted and crisp, they are an interesting variation and would also add depth to a southwestern themed benedict so I'm good with these :-) read more

Counter staff is confused and communication with customers could use a lot of improvement. Turkey bacon or sausage as the only meat option the burrito was unsat. But a nice little place, and the burrito w/o the meat was solid, as was the coffee. Hit them at a rush. Would definitely come back. read more

I've only tried the maple bars but they were very good! They're different from poplar donuts in that they're more cakey than glazed/melt in your mouth. The frosting was so unique and really tasted homemade and more maple flavored than most. Amazing donut! read more

Okay, so I might be addicted to this place. I used to go every single day they were open but now I'll being good and only going a few times a week . If you're lucky enough to have Kylie make your breakfast sandwiches, you've struck gold. She's a gem and makes me a custom egg, cheese, and stripple (veggie meat for all you non sda's ;) ) sand which on a bagel. They've got so many types of bagels too! And their chai is delicious. They also have a creamy garlic herb crème cheese that's to die for. Wish they were open weekends too, but totally understandable that they're not. Check em out. Earlier this morning, my mom, sisters, and I went here to visit with my aunt from California before she went back home. She bought a mixed dozen of doughnuts and we gorged ourselves on sugar and flour. I ate somewhere between one and four doughnuts, I can't say for certain since my mom reads my reviews. These sugar bagels were delightful and full of nutrients for children with the goal of a sugar rush, or diabetes. Anyway, the service was average, but the doughnuts were good. I've been a few times for the doughnuts, which are good. Recently I finally tried the spaghetti dinner. I ordered for my family online and it was super easy. I was surprised to see that they offered a few options in addition to basic spaghetti (veg, meat sauce and mizithra w/ butter). Everyone got what they wanted and it was all very good. I've been going here for two years. The woman who owns it (short with blonde hair) is consistently rude. Just today I tried to have her fill my reusable cup (at Starbucks you get a discount for this) and she refused. Said "yeah NO that violates health code". Give me a break. Every single other coffee shop in town fills your own cup. Get with the times Rogers. I'm trying to save the earth here. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

Slowest service by employees that NEVER seem to learn their job. You'll easily wait 15 minutes for a toasted bagel with no other customers in the place. Then it will be brought out cold. When we said our bagels are cold the girl said "ya, sorry." and walked back to the kitchen. I demanded my money back and she said we don't know how to do that. We tried spaghetti night, but after waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes for a plate of semi warm spaghetti we gave up. I give it 2 stars because if you're lucky to get a chocolate donut it will be tasty. Best walkable coffee from the University. I am staying at WWU for a summer institute and even though I had to walk right through a major road construction site, they were open and happy to see me (a customer). This town is a hell hole but they really made my day at Rogers for having a wide selection for a coffee shop and being really inexpensive (compared to Seattle standards). Great place. I wish you never have to come to this town but incase you find yourself in College Place, you can always rely on Rogers being there and open at 6am! read more

They have good maple bars, the donut prices are very fair for the size, but their other items are not worth the wait. Sandwhiches take way too long and with better options nearby it isn't worth the wait. If you're looking for a giant donut though this is the place to go. read more

Three of us each enjoyed the fresh sandwiches and wraps. Veggie and meat on the menu but we all chose the veggie and all the ingredients were very fresh and tasty. Just love those ripe tomatoes and the freshly baked bread. The bakery is great and the eclair we split was the best I ever tasted with clearly home-made fresh ingredients. Will be back several more times this week during our visit to the area. Service is very friendly but country slow so don't go in a frenzy looking for a 10 minute meal. Wish they offered some crusty bread choices however. read more
