This was a cute little venue. Inside it a great space to work. The line was slower, but the coffee is good. The biggest reason for my lower rating is the tiny coffee sized. The sign said everything was 10oz, but these were Dixie cup sized drinks, it felt like 8oz at best. The woman in front of me ordered two, because she was going for a drive and knew how small they were. Had there been a second larger size, I would have been much happier. Carte has delicious coffee and espresso. The beans are from Columbia and are so smooth with natural sweetness. I ordered the Vegan Surprise two days in a row (it is that good) and will be buying beans. My husband loves the London Fog. The inside space is very cool with lots of real plants and interesting decor. The owner, Josh, is so nice and multitalented - he even plays bass in a local band! read more

The espresso is mild and smooth, not overwhelming. The latte I had was good but nothing I find myself wanting again. I failed to recognize the small denotation at the bottom of the menu that they only serve 10oz sizes. I had ordered a triple iced latte, the barista wasn't the warmest about the lack of size options and instead offered a 10oz double. Odd business model to only offer one size for a steep price. read more

This is the best and most delicious place to get a high quality coffee drink such as a real latte. When I visit Walla Walla (from Seattle), it's my first step and daily stop. It was a great outdoor Coffee Carte previously but it's so good, it recently upgraded to a full fledged and inviting Coffee Shop in the heart of downtown and the go-to spot for coffee and related drinks, or to even hang out and work or study! Allow me to enlighten you as to why you should go to Carte Coffee. Let's begin with the Cart, it's design is such that it not only provides shelter from the weather but an intimate and welcoming experience for all. The line doesn't last that long, mostly due to a very effective and efficient Owner and Barista in the form of Josh Huh. (We'll get to him later). Now, the coffee. It's delicious and I love how they spotlight different roasts every week. Personal favorites of mine include the Vegan Surprise, the Dirty Chai and the Oat Moch. I go for coffee, but I always end up staying much longer than I intended to thanks to a friendly environment and wonderful staff. Joshua Huh, the owner of Carte, is a fabulous man. Well styled, hilarious, engaged and intelligent, I find myself stopping by Carte more and more often for coffee and conversation. Easily my favorite coffee spot in Walla Walla, and definitely worth checking out. I cannot rate or recommend this plahighly enough. read more
