Service was slow on a relaxed morning--I pulled into an empty drive thru and only two people were behind me. Drive thru employee needed me to clarify my order multiple times and I ordered only 1 coffee and one meal. Could tell from the employee's confused tone of voice and the wait time for the drinks would probably be bad news for the quality of my orders. The iced caffé mocha tasted like chalky chocolate powder. And the iced brown sugar shaken espresso tasted like lightly flavored milk--was there any espresso in there? I come to this Starbucks occasionally, whenever I need a coffee to go. The inside of the building is permeated with bold and rich aromas of brewing coffee. The interior is surrounded by glass windows that let in a pleasant amount of natural lighting, giving the space a very open atmosphere. Most of the time the place is busy, but staff are still polite and offer good customer service. The amount of seating is adequate, but the majority are hard wooden seats that makes long stays uncomfortable. Music is played within the shop but is drowned by the whirling of machines and workers hollering instructions to each other. The cappuccino I ordered had a pronounced acidic flavor that was balanced by the light sweetness of the milk. Overall, my experience visiting this Starbucks was positive. The staff were friendly and courteous despite how busy it was that day. The coffee itself, while not game changing, was adequate and service was quick. However, I feel that this Starbucks department really strays from what I feel Starbucks is supposed to be, a soothing place that focuses on leisure Seating is uncomfortable and crowded making unwinding difficult in this environment. Additionally, the noises of the machines and the workers communicating is loud, which also adds to the difficulty of any attempts at relaxing or engaging in light productivity. If you're looking for a calming lounge spot, this establishment isn't the place. However, the service is quick and quality. If this establishment can overhaul their seating, by adding more plush furniture and improving the spacing, I feel that will allow this department to be a very nice place to spend your time in. read more

The kids and I were thirsty after our family yoga class at the YMCA. Remembering there is a brand new shiny Starbucks in Zephyrhills, we decided to make a stop for some cold drinks and a snack for the kids. I just love ordering through the Starbucks app. I ordered a Tall Cold Brew with Salted Cream Cold Foam ($3.95) because they were our of the reserve nitro. The kids ordered a Grande Very Berry Hibiscus Starbucks Refreshers ($3.75) to share and two butter croissants ($2.65 each). Once we entered the brand new building, I immediately noticed how bright and clean it was. The kids loved the super long tables. The two wall of windows made some nice natural lighting and added to the atmosphere. The super long counter was glowing from the natural light and seemed well-kept. The staff was friendly and greater everyone. I was waiting at the pickup area while the kids checked out the table and chairs. They had charging stations and places that were designated for handicap/wheelchair use. The line at the register was moving fast and orders were flying out the drive thru window and on the counters as customers snatched them up. The order was made quickly and correctly. Hurray! The growing pains are slowly dissipating. The mobile orders are waiting when you arrive in the time frame. The crew is working like a well-oiled machine. There are still occasional mistakes, just like every coffee shop. A mismade drink. A cup covered in coffee stains. Nothing, however, out of the ordinary. This location does not seem to understand anything but coffee. I am not a coffee drinker. However, I am a teacher. My students are kind enough to give me gift cards for Starbucks. I cannot stand coffee or the flavor of it. However, Starbucks does have some really nice hot cocoa's and "refresher" drinks. My favorite hot cocoa is a white chocolate one that I've only ordered ONCE successfully. Today, I paid about seven dollars for a white chocolate hot cocoa. I don't know what happened. I left with coffee. A few weeks ago I stopped by and ordered a white chocolate hot cocoa... Got home... they gave me a coffee. A few weeks before that I stopped by and ordered a regular hot cocoa... This is a relatively new Starbucks to the area. Looking at it the building size is deceiving. Inside is a very large sitting area with power outlets and charging stations for your cell phone built right into the tables. Staff is very friendly and consistent with making drinks. I would warn your from coming here in the morning during the week unless you have extra time. I was here on a Wednesday and went inside because the drive thru was wrapped around the building. Inside there were 8-10 employees all running around and I waited almost 20 minutes for a coffee. Wow! Employee Kim is very unknowledgeable and rude! If you're looking for someone to humiliate you and ruin your day, ask for Kim! I had placed a mobile order for an iced coffee and egg bites as I do weekly to this location. When I pulled up to the drive thru Kim told me my food was ready but not my drink and told me to drive back around because I did not give them enough time to make my drink. Even though I mobile ordered a few minutes before I arrived....wonder how they handle orders in person. Kim was very rude to me in a way you would never expect from a corporation like Starbucks. The way she treated me even made me ask for corporates number, her name and a refund for my order. Which I never had to do before. She fought with me at the window and never once issued any apology for my experience. I told her multiple times how disrespectful and condescending she was towards me and she just kept saying it was policy. Once I called corporate they let me know it's actually not policy if my food was ready upon my arrival, which it was. She never gave me the opportunity to wait for my iced coffee and instead treated me like I just so had the audacity to place a mobile order. We all know those famous "Karen Videos" as we see them pretty much daily on most social media sites. Today we got to see our very first Karen first hand. Miss stuck up got oils her Volvo sashayed her way I'm to the store. She pulled this letter out that had her 11 orders on it and apparently something was missing. She left and went back and was checking things off on the paper she had. Apparently she felt she was to good to do so and came back inside and demanded that not only they figure it out for her, but that they stop everything they were doing and make that one drink. When she was told that's not how it works she then proceeds to play the victim card and cry foul on how she was being treated rudely. She must have forgot that the world doesn't revolve around her and most other people witnessing her type of behavior really don't care for Karen's. The young black kid waiting on her was so polite too. Didn't raise his voice but instead killed her with kindness. I think that pissed her off even more. I was living for the moment and yelled that she needed to stop acting like a Karen‍5 stars for the employees not stooping to her level. 3 stars for the very slow service as it took 35 minutes to get a hot coffee and a frozen drink‍ read more

today, March 29, 2023 at 7:12 AM I purchase beverages from Starbucks in route to drop my daughter off to school and get to work. The drinks were made wrong extremely choppy. Frapuccino's chunky ice was not able to use the straw. I called and spoke with the " manage" Tye. she informed me the only way to rectify the situation was for me to bring the drinks back. I explain to her that that would be extremely inconvenient to me for my daughter to be late to school and for me to be late to work, because they made an error with my drinks.. at this point, I had already visited Starbucks paid money for a product, but my product was not what I paid for. The fact that I was inconvenience it that my new level and she wanted to further inconvenient me in order to be properly compensated. If this is Starbucks policy when customers do not get what they pay for it's extremely low. After asking for someone above her information and telling her I was not leaving my drinks in the car all day to come back to Starbucks this afternoon to retrieve my breakfast coffees. This is the WORST DESIGNED Starbucks I have ever visited. The drive through line blocks the entrance to the parking lot. The inside is so loud you cannot hear yourself think. I saw two people walk outside to answer their phones while they were waiting for their drinks. And there is a table THREE FEET away from the mobile pickup counter so you have to almost bump into another person to pick up your drink, thanks for NOT social distancing. read more
