My husband and I didn't go with the option of all you can eat which most most go there for because our gluten free diet so we order their menu. We ordered a egg fried rice without soy sauce/ beef chop suey and egg fu young. My husband liked the beef chop suey but we had it better at Calgary or Vancouver BC. I won't mind to come back again but I just think the not so authentic Chinese food for almost $15 a dish it's too much to pay for! I decided to give 3 stars because the server was kind and helpful also the food wasn't gross so I didn't give it 2 stars.

Had meals here 3-4 years ago, and don't remember it being this bad, but then again I've had American prepared Chinese food several times since, and it is far and away better than this stuff. I hope they are consistent. We went in on Sunday at 5:15 and they remade the whole buffet for us as it was closed early. So the food was freshly made very tasty and delicious everyone enjoyed it in our group. The only niggle was the lemon chicken was not lemony. All the flavors were unique for each dish. The ribs were good cuts and really nice flavour, the breaded shrimp were big and good, the ginger beef was tender and delicious. Each dish had an individual flavour unlike a lot of buffet that have a sort of same taste for everything. I will give it four stars.

The lemon sauce was quite bland until I crushed the included lemon slices into the sauce. After that, the sauce had some lemon flavour. The battered chicken filets were good. No real issues. The fried rice had a flavour issue that I couldn't quite recognize. Possibly somewhat salty? Oily? I'm not sure. Also, the bits of chicken were a bit chewy. Not much egg, which I like in my fried rice. The peas and carrots were obviously from frozen and skimpy on quantity. I did not bother to take home the remainder of my fried rice. I don't think I will be back for another meal.
