Had a really great experience at Starfire Sports. We came for a rugby game, which was a new, fun experience. Paying for parking was quite easy and you just follow the flow to a parking spot of your choice. The parking fee was $7. There are free parking areas which come with a walk so it's your choice of what to do. There were quite a few options for food. There's the concession stands and some food trucks. There are also booths you can stop by at, a merch tent, and an area where you can play corn hole or just play. read more

Every time I have to come here I am reminded of what a terrible awful garbage experience this place is. They really need to solve the parking situation during these big Labor Day tournament weekends. Very poorly managed facility. We play lacrosse tournaments here and the facility charges you to park, then redirects you to the middle of nowhere to park. They intentionally oversell the event with simultaneous events with soccer and lacrosse to maximize their profits, and maximize your discomfort in having to haul coolers, tents, chairs and sports equipment for miles through mud. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Tukwila is also the armpit of the Puget Sound. So 0 stars for location. It's embarrassing that this is a professional sports facility because it looks and feels like a high school level facility. The turf fields look like they are from 1991. A disgusting and embarrassing part of Seattle sports. If you are forced to play here, just dread and understand it will be the worst sports experience of the year. read more

Awesome place to grab a cold one and watch S2 play. Tickets are cheap, food ain't bad and there's plenty of beer stands. Definitely not as packed as CenturyLink Field where the Sounders play so it makes it easier for those with families. You also get to avoid traffic and the craziness that happens in the city after. After watching one of the S2 games, some of the players were taking pictures and signing gear for the fans (mainly kids) so I was like, "cool let's go over there!" There were a lot of people but luckily one of the players saw my son all hyped up in his Sounders shirt and he signed it for him! Great way to end the night along with a beautiful Washington sunset. read more

This is for the manager of the STEM program at Starfire Sports. Why do you let your associates who clearly don't know how to properly work well with children work here for this specific group?? My son came home last week really upset, he told me the lady that teaches him said some pretty rude comments and proceeded to laugh at him as if it was supposed to be funny, he's also told me about how the same female staff member will put them on social media "live" to talk to people. This is just unacceptable and unconsensual know your place, especially at your place of work. My son used to enjoy this program and its coaches but if there are staff bullying kids and on the phone instead of teaching them, what good will this place be in the long run? read more

This facility had me drooling with envy. We don't have anything like this in the state of Oregon. Phil Knight get on this!!! But, please note that my rave review is from the perspective of a temporary visitor and I have no knowledge of or experience with memberships, classes, etc. My son is a member of traveling sports team and of all the venues we've experienced in Oregon and Washington, Starfire is the best for a number of reasons. Twelve sports fields (two indoor and ten outdoor which are a mix of grass and turf) are all within an easy walk. The fields were well lit at night and since this was a winter tournament, they even had portable space heaters in certain areas, which was unexpected and really nice. The fields were all in good condition and although they brought in some specialty food trucks for our event, I enjoyed the two on-site dining options in the Athletic Center as well as the basic concessions stand at field level. There were several elevated viewing platforms attached to the restaurants where you could watch the action on Adidas Field #2 and the Alaska Airlines Pavilion offers covered viewing of Starfire Stadium (Field #1) as well as Fields #3 and 4. The entire facility was well designed. For example, the main complex has most of the businesses on the second and third levels, so the first level is open and is essentially a series of covered overhangs. This is brilliant in a climate that has constant rain and yes, games halted by lightning storms, so you can seek cover. In the middle of the complex is Fort Dent Park with a play structure for little ones. There are nice bathroom facilities in the main building and smaller outbuildings by the fields farther away. Parking was a challenge at this event just because of volume and they charged a fee (you had the option of paying by the day or a reduced rate for the entire tournament). Once you arrived for the day, all your basic needs were covered. Coffee and snacks in the morning at Café Siena, pizza for lunch at MAD pizza and late afternoon beers or wine before your last game of the night. A few rules were interesting and more stringent than other fields I've visited: 1) No dogs. 2) No chairs, food or drinks (except water) on the artificial turf. 3) No smoking on campus. Many hotels and tons of shopping and dining options at Westfield Center are within easy driving distance. read more

I don't enjoy having to pay for parking to see my kid play soccer, when I'm already paying for my kid play in the league. And the fields are sponsored, are they not? So why should we have to pay anyway? The fields are well kept, but the bikers are so incredibly rude. Obviously this is a soccer field and there are so many kids running around, they need to understand that they do not have the "right of way" in this case. read more

Be prepared to pay $6.00 for parking if there are games or any other events going on. You can by a yearly parking pass also which may save you money and has some perks of which I don't recall. Don't know what it currently costs. The parking lot next to the turf fields and main building is a nightmare during club soccer practices. Idiot parents sitting in their cars creating a long line and creating congestion and making it dangerous and difficult for other cars trying to back out of spaces and forcing others to try and maneuver through and sometimes blocking the flow of traffic completely. And then there are the idiots that park in the fire lane that leads to the other two parking strips that causes a bottleneck so two cars cannot pass each other in the opposite direction thus creating a standoff situation. Starfire staff needs to address this. read more

Not a friendly family environment anymore!! I have been coming with my boyfriend to watch every game he plays for years and now I was asked to leave for no good reason. They said it was because of covid, even though I have been here before during covid and was told it was fine to spectate upstairs socially distanced. Now I'm being told I can go sit in their enclosed coffee shop with more people, NOT WEARING MASKS, but I'm not allowed to watch upstairs in the open with no people, and wearing a mask....makes total sense to me! Sounds like they just want your money or get out. Staff was not friendly like I have experienced here before. Currently sitting outside waiting for his game to be over because I refuse to give them my business now at their cafe. read more

The rating is 4.5 stars. My daughter plays on two club teams so we are frequently at Starfire. As for the facilities they aren't bad. Restrooms are very clean and the bar/restaurant has good finger food and decent beer. Plus you can bring in your own food and off-site dining options are plentiful and close by. As for parking, it is what it is. With the popularity of the sport and dozens of teams playing in their frequent tournaments, parking will always be a challenge. As for the parking fee its reasonable and I pay more to park in Seattle so the fee shouldn't be an issue. My daughter, whose opinion of the field is more important then mine says the turf fields are good to play on. Considering that she has played in TX, CA, CO, NC, FL, AZ and NV I trust her opinion as a player more then mine from the sidelines. And believe me she has played on some terrible fields (turf and grass) during her tournament career. Starfire is above average and us parents enjoy it and the coaches and players enjoy it as well. read more

Far more comfortable on a drizzly fall Saturday than I anticipated. Aside from a scramble for parking, this sports center offers a lot: great vantages for viewing the four outdoor fields and the two indoor fields. There's sheltered areas to take in a game and enjoy a beer. It's clean, well staffed and offered lighted fields for early morning, evening games. There's a sports store with reasonably priced gear--lucky for me because my son's cleats came apart mid game. Our hotel is within walking distance, as are family friendly restaurants. It's the least complicated sports weekend I've ever enjoyed. read more

This is a wonderful soccer complex - we are lucky to have it here in the NW. They have 7 or 8 turf fields and 5 or 6 grass fields. They have indoor fields as well. Great lighting and stands on almost all the fields. I love that it is well lit, clean, feels safe, and has lots of bathrooms, which are kept up and clean. It has a pizza place as well as a cafe and coffee shop inside. I wish it had healthier food choices (especially considering the demographic is mostly athletes). Soccer West is inside and they have a decent selection of soccer cleats, clothing, and accessories. Their prices are a bit high. There are walking trails for the parents while they wait for their kids to get done with practices or before their games. There is a playground for little kids as well. Lots of shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, entertainment, and hotels within close proximity. I really do love this place but it loses one star for the parking situation. It costs 5 a day to park there which seems unreasonable. ESPECIALLY when they charge you and then the lots are full and you have to drive out of the main area and park in businesses down the road and YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY. That seems unfair and sketchy. Still a great place. OH and did I mention it is home to the Seattle Sounders??? We literally passed Sigi Schmid coming up the stairs one day (he was apparently headed to his office). read more

Nice sports complex for competing sports teams. My niece had her Special Olympics soccer tournament here recently. The complex had many fields, the grounds were beautiful, there was a snack bar building and playgrounds for the young ones. It is a very large complex with lots of parking throughout. read more

I've been playing at Starfire for a few years now and I'll spell it all out for you in easy to read bullets: PROs - Pizza and adult beverages available upstairs in the building (good quality) and the staff up there is super friendly - The turf is decent and doesn't have any outright areas in need of repair - Parking is ample IF THERE IS NO EVENT GOING ON - The facility is well lit, open, and the temps are okay though it can get cold in the winter and hot in the summer (understandably) - Offers indoor and outdoor leagues - Pro shop on site for last minute needs CONs - The referee staff needs a serious upgrade. I have witnessed multiple, outrageous fouls between my competitive and over 40 league (I play more than one night a week) and am appalled at the lack of fouls and cards being NOT being handled out. The aggressive on field behavior continues because nothing is done to correct it as soon as it happens - The bathrooms stink - When there is an event I wish they would just cancel or reschedule our games. The parking lot is a disaster, and walking/running 5-10 minutes to make it to a 6pm game after work is annoying - They do not enforce the rules of the arena. There are kids kicking balls (and honesty, adults too sometimes) at the walls and back of nets while games are actively being played. - There is clear paint indicating a point where only players and coaches should go beyond (to the game benches) and there are CONSTANTLY kids in the dugouts. If one of them gets hit with a stray ball and cracks a head on the concrete...ahet ahem. - Slow to respond to emails - Players do not abide by the required safety gear and the staff does absolute zero to enforce it. The shin guard rule is blatantly ignored and very obvious. - When a concern or complaint is registered, there is zero follow up and no resolution. I wish we had a closer alternative option, because I was dazzled at first and now that I've played a few seasons I wish I could play somewhere else. Be careful here, make sure your medical coverage is up to date before you take the pitch!!! Ps - I gave it two stars for the pizza place. read more

Indoor fields/turf are old. Outdoor are decent. Parking is terrible. The last 3 times I have been there, we are directed to overflow parking in nearby office space/lots. But the worst is the lack of safety. Outside and indoor. The unlit walking pathway from lot to fields is unsafe. Indoor...Starfire referees are lacking in training and do not have control of the games (adult or youth). Player safety is not a concern nor a priority. My family will no longer pay to play at this facility not should you. Go to Arena instead. read more

I'm pretty new to soccer. It's one of those sports that is hard to pick up at my age but I figured that it couldn't be too hard to run and kick something. I was wrong. Ugh. After playing on a full-size field last year outdoors, my buddy and I joined a co-rec team playing with Starfire's outdoor league. They offer both indoor and outdoor, but during the summer, outdoors is where it's at! For a total of $70, we get about 7 weeks of play-time. The fields here are the smaller, which means that we play with only 8 players max at a time. The games are also shorter at 60 min versus 90 min. Because Starfire is a soccer haven, the fields are maintained very nicely--they even have a good-sized playground for kids to play on. The restrooms are cleanish, and close to the fields. We've also never run into any parking issues; there is enough parking for all of us! The refs vary in their knowledge about soccer rules. Sometimes, they call short-field rules, and sometimes they don't--which makes for confusing looks from our seasoned veterans. In general, the refs are cool and pretty amiable though. I may try out their indoor co-rec league this winter too! I'll try to make it a full season without getting a yellow card ;) read more

The Facility: This place is a HUGE and very nice soccer complex and the location is perfect for Renton, Tukwila, Kent, Seattle. 12 outdoor soccer field plus 2 indoor. The Seattle Sounders practice here, Seattle Reign women play their games here. All Nations cup tournament played here and many other tournaments. I been playing here for the last 5 years and we won the championship game 8vs8 last night (VN United). The place is kept pretty clean . Bathrooms are clean a well stocked. There is plenty of parking once you find the facility. Finding the facility is easy on 405 or I5. Weekend can be difficult to find parking because there are so many tournament going on and you have to pay for parking but if you join their membership parking is free. The Staff: Always cordial, friendly, and upbeat! The staff has been the same with a few new faces every once in a while and overall a good helpful team. The People: There is a tons of families which means alot of kids.The refs crews are well trained but every now and then they make the wrong call but even FIFA ref still make errors. Sometimes there are BS calls, and sometimes there are no calls when there should be. Overall decent. Food & Drink: They have a decent selection like Pizza and sandwiches. Nice place to sit for a beer and pizza and still be able to watch soccer game being play on field #1. read more

The indoor field is nice I take my kids here for soccer lessons. The teachers are nice mostly high school students that have played soccer most they're life. The reason for the lack of stars is service everywhere but the field. You get free parking with member ship ($5 a day for another car or anyone else that wants to come) lost our sticker and the lady up front was very rude said we have to buy a whole new membership or pay for parking in a rude voice when we inquired about replacing it. original sign up was same way and when we called about a holiday schedule the person on the phone made it seem like we were a inconvenience told us that the schedules were the same(which it wasn't and missed class because it changed schedule) This has potential to be a great place starfire just has to work on staff and customer service. read more

This is a great facility. From someone who is a passionate sports go-er, soccer/football fans are lucky. I've played in all sorts of sports establishments and the only other place that beats Starfire is in Richmond, Canada. (The Oval if any of you are curious.) I play indoor co-ed on Sundays, and the only real complaint I have is that I wish the refs were better trained. Because this is such a physical sport, and with a range of emotions and skill abilities, it would be better to call a game tight on both sides of the field than letting everything be run fast and loose. I get that there are levels and leagues, but more attention needs to be paid when a 300 pound guy is being a straight up docuhe against a 140 pound girl. Not that Starfire has any control of that person specifically but they can make calls and give out cards when necessary to protect people. It's just a game and one that people pay to play in. However, I won't let that affect my review of this establishment. I never have any issues paying for the league or being contacted for an issue. read more

This is a fantastic multi-field soccer complex with both indoor and outdoor training facilities. We were here for a weekend long soccer tournament. Everything was well-organized and easy to navigate. The parking was easy and signed to make navigation easy. Lots of food stands and bathrooms available throughout the complex. We played a night game and the field had excellent lighting and stadium seating! It was a great experience! We look forward to another tournament at this facility. read more

This facility has to be one of the best indoor and outdoor soccer facilities in the Seattle area. Starfire sports provides all levels of leagues for beginners to expert soccer players. For people who played soccer before, it gives them chance to continue their love for soccer. For people who have not played soccer, it gives them chance to learn a great sport. Being an outdoor player, never thought indoor would be fun, but having played for about two years now, indoor is a different game but as much fun as outdoor. If you are not a fan of running in one spot on a machine, it's the best way to get exercise. What a crazy concept?!? Working out and having fun at the same time?!? The staff at Starfire is very informative and friendly. They will treat beginners and professionals the same way. The service has been great. I give four star because of the some of the refs there are not very good. I am not saying all of them just some of them. Actually more like one of them. Yes, he is that bad. Him alone brought five star down to four. But besides that a great place for much healthy fun. read more

Parking is the biggest problem, besides the lacrosse tourney it seems they have soccer tourney at the same time - so you pay $5 to park but it takes a while to find a spot and some teams backed out of tourney so i cant imagine how much worse it could have been. But the facilities seemed well cared for, the Cafe has good coffee so overall it was a nice experience. The pizza and beer restaurant has good food too! read more

After playing indoor at Magnuson for several seasons, Starfire was a welcome change. Field conditions are 10x nicer than Magnuson; the floors are even, the turf is nice, and the lines are nice and bright. The locker rooms are pretty decent as well--there is an actual room to change in, in addition to the bathroom area. Minus one star for really marginal refs. I feel like a ref's primary duty in indoor co rec soccer is to prevent out of control [inexperienced] players from committing repeated flagrant fouls and/or throwing their body weight into anyone who steps into their windmill. Not so much at Starfire. On one occasion, I watched a very thin male player on my team get thrown head first into the wall by a large neanderthal on another team, and the ref didn't even bat an eye. As neanderthal obviously hadn't developed the upper cerebral capacities of modern humans, I'm putting this bad play, and the lack of call, entirely on the ref. And, unfortunately, this type of play (and lack of call) is fairly de rigueur at this location. read more

Great indoor and outdoor fields. One thing to keep in mind is all of the fields are astro turf so they do not allow cleats to be used on them. There is plenty of room so you don't feel crowded if there are other people there playing as well. Lots of fun there. They also so have a coffee shop and it looked like they sold some food as well. The locker room was clean. You should definitely stop by and kick a ball around for few minutes. read more
