I was quoted a week for the repair. First, they indeed were repaired on time. If you allow, they will text you with updates. As much as I like and appreciate "old-school" repair shops, this is indeed a helpful service. Well done. Second, the repairs. The eyelets were added and color matched to the existing (which I was surprised with!). On the boots with the top lift replacement, they ended up adding a thicker one and I think removing a layer of the heel stack to compensate. All good. However, in sanding the lift down to match the heel stack, it looks like the sander caught the leather sole. I get it, it happens. But to think that was "good enough" and let it leave like that without trying to touch up the sole? It feels like poor attention to detail. Also, the edges of the top lift had stray fibers all over. Maybe my expectations are too high for shoe repair and this is to be expected. All that said, the pricing for the repairs was very reasonable so I can't complain. However, I would gladly pay more for a better result. Maybe their typical client is more value-oriented? There is also a nice selection of shoe care products and polishes from Sapphir (widely held as the top shelf brand) so I had expected top tier results. Overall, a bit of a disappointment but mostly good work.

When I asked about it, I was told "its mode expensive when you rush it." Yeah. I understand that, but I let you keep it longer!!! And the guy who checked me in, changed the price on the ticket by hand. The press job on my shirts were terrible. I asked for medium starch, there was none. My pleated pants for my suit looked just horrible. The pleats were pressed and folded in the wrong way. The cuffs weren't done right either. I asked for a manager, and the girl working the counter told me "the woman" that you need to talk to isn't here. I asked for her name, and she said she isn't here. I guess her name is "she isn't here". Odd name. I asked for her to call me. I tried them out because they're on my way to work, but I won't be back.

Its a weird entrance. You feel like you entered into the heart of the dry cleaning store among the washers and steamers more as an employee... not a customer. I disliked that felling. it doesnt feel like a customer recieving area, which is fine but just unlike any other dry cleaner that I have dropped off at before. To the right of the doors entrance is a tiny desk which is where your transaction will take place. To me, this felt chaotic and uncomfortable. She didnt quote me any prices but said see you next Monday. I assumed we were done. Went to my car realized I have zero proof that I dropped anything off. That made me uncomfortable. Went inside, asked if I needed a ticket. She said no but did offer to print one up. Feeling stupid I said well if I dont need one dont want to make the day difficult and went back to my car. Started to write this rewiew... Another lady came out... much more extroverted and got my attention. Handed me a ticket for my drop off, which I appreciated greatly. However, after she left, I nearly fell over dead when I saw the prices. Do I call around and find, "wow dry cleaning prices have really gone up everywhere as they were much different than this place." What strikes me as weird is: it is almost less expensive to buy some of the items I dropped off. The pricing: 82 dollars: 30 table runner, 40 table cloth. 3 placemats 12. Then and then tax. OMG Im going to quit entertaining. Guests apparently are messy and expensive. 3 stars mainly for the weird entrance, delay in being helped and the confusion with the pick up ticket.
