Every time we are in town we order pizza for takeout. Never have had an issue with ordering and picking up. Very tasty New York style pizza!

It's next door to the hotel and when we went it wasn't so busy that we were ignored but they staff were certainly being kept on their toes (Father's Day weekend, graduations, hotel guests...). They have both indoor seating (complete with a bar if you'd like to sit there) and a really nice looking patio area. The food was fantastic. Our server was great too; she was really friendly and helpful with recommendations. I ordered the reuben sandwich, which was deeeelicious. The salmon was apparently wonderful too, from what my partner said. And I ordered the macaroni and cheese from the kids menu but it was huge. My baby loved it and since it was so huge there was too much for her, so I had the rest at a later time. They had a really good strawberry lemonade, of which we (my daughter and I, because of course she had to have some) drank several glasses. Our server even brought me a to-go cup of it because she said it looked like we were slowing down and may be near finishing. I didn't ask her to bring me a cup of it to go, and wouldn't have thought to ask, so I was very happy she brought it for the rest of our ride to Cleveland. But perhaps my favorite part of the meal were the appetizers. We ordered some macaroni and jalapeño bites which were a hit as far as myself and the little one were concerned, with not too much heat that she could enjoy them. The restaurant has a Brussels sprouts appetizer, but they do it as an "of the week" special. The week we were here it was inspired by elote, so it had some corn and cheese and stuff on it and they were so good. I love Brussels sprouts, and will happily try them prepared in a new way. As of June 2026, I think they are short staffed. Our food took a little longer than usual but that was ok; it gave us a chance to chat and relax. Just be patient if you visit in the near future since they are down an employee or two! But even with that, it was a pleasant evening, the staff were fantastic and helpful, and the food totally hit the spot.

I ate the nachos. This is not a one person meal, they are very large. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very prompt and personable. I also enjoyed the beer selection they had, not only on tap, but in bottles and cans. Inside the restaurant was clean and looked nice.

Servers in long pants and hoodies. Patrons who had sweaters had them on. Salad bar pretty typical. Hot food bar not open. Hot food bar open only on the weekends. My adult children recently ate at the hot food bar and said it was delicious. Our server was young and inexperienced and could use more trading. I ordered a cheesesteak and fries which was large and delicious. I didn't get my mayo and had to track down our server because she never checked on us after delivering our food. I asked for mayo and she brought me 1 packet for this humongous sandwich. Had to track her down for drink refills also. She was very nice and we still tipped her well, but like I said she could definitely use more training. It wasn't busy at all. Us and 2 other tables were filled. Other people started coming in while we were leaving. Hubby had country fried steak. All food was delicious. Had to ask for check to pay. We then sat on rocking chairs on porch laughing about restaurant Patrons coming out of restaurant to their cars to fetch sweaters and jackets. Then we walked around the corner and had soft serve ice cream with chocolate sprinkles which was delicious! Would go again and would recommend. Bring a sweater and check after server brings food thay you have everything you need before she walks away!

We think the waitress was new because she forgot to ask if anyone with sandwiches, would they like fries or a side with that, or what dressing they want with their dinner salads. Other than that, the food was great. And they had a salad bar. But for the price of that I could have had a dinner salad with a protein on it for a hair more. Now I know. They have a petting zoo, mini golf, panning for gold spot, & a driving range on the grounds. Ice cream too. Nice place to eat and take the family for a reasonable price.

A cup of very good tomato soup served in a large bowl made for a pretty plate but was not a large portion by any stretch of the imagination. I get it, but I should have gone with the grilled cheese sandwich which comes with tomato soup for $7 more. Others portions were large and everyone enjoyed their meals. Our server was very good and the place has a cozy feel to it. I just wish they'd upgrade the restroom from a oner. Since we were in Ligonier strolling through the Ice Fest, we decided to warm up with some beverages. I had Irish coffee and my daughter had the bourbon espresso cream. Both were very good and did the trick to warm us up!

On the outside, you're greeted with plenty of outdoor patio seating in front of the restaurant and live music from an artist playing tunes. Inside is a spacious bar, lounge and woodsy interior with another room with tables and larger party seating. Since we had a little one with us, we thought more fitting to sit outside, watch the horses and carriages pass and enjoy the fresh air. We were told by the hosts that the seating in the front, though unoccupied, wasn't available, but the tables on the side (which I thought were for storage as they weren't set, cleaned or too presentable looking) were. Although a bit confused by that note, we decided to sit outside. It seemed that there was only one server working the outside area as we saw her hastily going back and forth. We were sat at 5:35pm or so. After about 10 minutes, she took our drink orders and 10 minutes later we then ordered our food. We got the drink we ordered then patiently awaited our food. A little after 6:05p, it started to sprinkle with rain outside. If you know PA, the rain can come down hard and heavy, quick. We asked our server if they had other seating available who went to check. As we were sitting on the side of the building - in an uncovered area - we went inside around 6:15p to ask if there was other seating available. Surely a rain soaked toddler and water ruined food isn't the best look for a restaurant serving its guests.. Both the younger lady hosts and a man (not sure his relation to this restaurant), John, seemed a bit perplexed by our request. He then proceeded to advise that the umbrella-covered seating in the front of the restaurant wasn't available, pulls his phone out to check the weather, notes that it doesn't say it's raining, but instead says "yeah, I don't know what that is, maybe it's a neighbor spraying a hose nearby" (while another employee says "I see the rain on the window in front of us") and doesn't really provide any solution for us to sit so we go back outside. Very confused by that interaction, when we saw our server next, we told her that we would be leaving and we'll pay the check for the one drink we ordered. Another girl came out and apologized, saying she wasn't sure why they wouldn't let us sit inside or anywhere else and proceeded to take us to a table inside. Our now hangry and somewhat sprinkled on toddler got her food, noodles with butter, at 6:20p and we got our dishes at 6:30p. The food looked decent though I can't comment on its flavor and taste of our meals as I had no appetite then. I don't know who would want to enjoy a meal there after that interaction. No apology or conversation from a manager was ever had, no items removed from the bill or a complimentary item provided to make up for the poor experience. We didn't eat much as we were quite off put but paid the bill in full. I still have no idea who the "John" guy is and what purpose he may serve there aside from the blatant disregard of guest's concerns and a poor example set in front of the younger employees. Our server and some of the other runner girls were kind, so I don't think customer service and general decency as a human is lacking from this town but this experience and this specific restaurant left that unfortunate impression. If he or they didn't want us there, I surely would have appreciated the honesty so we could spend our money and celebrate Father's Day weekend elsewhere. I don't plan on coming back and only Yelp members don't visit either. If I could tell you to avoid this restaurant at all costs, I would.
