I recently experienced cryotherapy for the first time and I must say, there's nothing to fear--it's much simpler than the idea of a cold plunge... Just take it step by step. You only need two to three minutes. Just put on the provided gloves, socks, and hat, and step into the standup chamber. An attendant will check in on you periodically to let you know the time, but you can easily exit if you need to.
