Our guide, Tyler, was so fun and made sure all of us had the best spot to have clear water and positive encounters with the Manatees. He also made sure we were safe, had pictures and videos. A really nice and thoughtful person. Our captain was Captain Randy. He was very knowledgeable, kind and fun. He made sure we had hot beverages after we got out of the water! He was a very experienced captain. William was loved by the baby Manatee so much. It constantly sought him. It was adorable. Our guide, Tyler, had a really close encounter with the Manatee nibbling his facial hair! Lol. The whole experience, we maintained our instructions to not touch the Manatees. They could touch us, but was had to stay still and be respectful. The Crystal River Community is doing everything they can to protect the Manatees and educate us humans how to respect them. What a beautiful place.

They allowed our experience to be comfortable, unique, and fun. The guides are very informative in helping you gear up, letting you know what to expect, and guiding you in the water. We saw several manatees, and our wonderful in-water guide made sure that everyone in our group was able to view the manatees. Our boat group consisted of no more than 6 people, which allows for a personable, 1 on 1 type experience. I cannot recommend this company enough! Capt Jimmy and his first mate were stellar and created such a fun experience for my 11 year olds…read morebirthday. The memories that were made were priceless. Alot of really insane moments (huge fish hooks, sharks, sea turtles, birds) and not at all a slow fishing day. I have never needed a break from my arms being so tired from fishing. My son tapped early and we still went home with a cooler full of absolutely delicious fish. Jimmy even gave some recipe ideas for the various catches. I am an avid freshwater angler but my wife and son were not as experienced and they were helped through every process and we all learned so much. It creates an itch to immediately go again so you can implement what you learned sooner in the trip hehe. This is not just a pay to go catch fish charter. I would highly recommend it to anyone from anglers to people that have never touched a pole. My son has talked and talked about it and experiences like this just create better memories and knowledge gained than a theme park could ever.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour because it's not a big boat like the others but will fit about 8-10 people. There were 6 including myself on this trip. Matt was super cool and a funny tour guide. He showed us so many of the keys and he knew a lot about the birds and the history of Cedar Key itself. I also appreciated the fact that when he didn't know an answer, he simply admitted that he didn't know--he didn't try to make something up. The tour was $30 and lasted about 1.5 hours. He even took us to see the lighthouse! It was a lot of fun.
