The locals could not have been more warm and friendly, even the local reptiles are calm and friendly. (See photo) I had a flat tire during my stay and it was minutes before I had a smiling local offering to help me air my tire back up. Having a fresh organic food truck steps away from the Bottle House was the greatest surprise. It's like having your own personal chef on call. I was so pleased to have delicious healthy food options near. The scenery surrounding the Bottle House is nothing short of breathtaking. On my drive into West Texas from Austin I literally gasped at the sight of such beauty once I hit the West Texas mountainous landscape. I was in awe. The beautiful natural landscape is captivating and can be admired while driving into town and from your front porch. Alpine is a treasure. It is a beautiful quick drive to Marfa from the Bottle House. I had planned on making day trips to Marfa several days of my stay but ended up enjoying relaxing and exploring Alpine so much that I had to extend my trip by a day to give myself a chance to see Marfa. I couldn't get enough of how charming this BnB is. Liz has thought of absolutely everything one could need to be made comfortable and feel completely at home. I can't wait to visit Alpine and The Bottle House again next time I'm in need of a peaceful retreat, full of natural beauty and friendly faces.

It was super convenient- we never even had to face any staff. Our keys were waiting for us at the door (Yes, that's pretty trusting but the location is also a bit hidden as we had to walk down a clean alley to get there) SIMPLE ACCOMMODATIONS Huge plus for having local Coffee at the counter as well as a microwave, mini fridge, and wifi. Also a collection of small snacks for the taking. A simple, sheer curtain divided the living room from the bedroom but also added an elegant feel to the minimalist appearance. Everything was clean and perfect for our stay. AND RATHER SPACIOUS It never felt cramped inside. That sheer curtain also works great, space miracles. We also liked how right outside the door was a small, vegetation-filled courtyard. It was a bit too chilly for us to take advantage of but it mentally made us feel very relaxed upon entering.

They provide snacks, WiFi and a great binder with information. The location is convient to pretty much everything in Alpine ( a lot within walking distance). However, I was extremely dissapointed and annoyed when I received my review back from the Guest Lofts. We came to Alpine to celebrate me turning 21. Im not a big drinker and therefore wanted to travel for my bday. I think my group and I were stereotyped and therefore received a negative review. Apparently we kept a family and their kids up all night long... First off we were on the outside which meant there was only one loft next to us. The first night we stayed there we had just drove 7 hours and didn't stay up past 10. The next morning when we woke up the only people in the loft next to us were one of the ladies that runs the guest lofts cleaning. We were told In the review we were too loud and didn't follow the rules. There is no possible way we kept anyone up all night long. We never stayed up past 12 and didn't wake up until 9. I didn't even finish a four pack of beer and one of the people in my group was sick. The only "kids" I saw were two preteens throwing knives at stuff in the courtyard. I take it Guest Lofts are not a fan of young adults. I think they could have handled the situation better and maybe talked to us in person or let us know there was supposedly someone staying next to us.

Who knew we would find such a hidden gem in the middle of West Texas! This a great boutique style hotel with a West Texas eclectic vibe. It felt like we were in an old western town hotel (but with better sheets and furnishings) It was incredibly clean and cozy (which is a biggie for me) and the staff was amazing, genuinely welcoming and ready to attend to our needs! The hotel does sit right above the restaurant so it was super convenient to head down, grab some grub and a drink and listen to some live music. Oh yeah...the food was amazing by the way...order the Monica's lemon pound cake...it will change your life! Something to note is there is live music (which we expected) so plan take it all in for the evening. We'll definitely be back and stay here again when we are passing through! Thank you Big Bend Biker Hotel crew for a memorable stay!!!! See yall on the next trip!

We had zero issues booking and Chris communicated with us the entire time. When we arrive at 1030pm, imwe were able to get in through pre arranged instructions. Hey to our room, shower and crash out. It was nice. Room 208 comes with two full beds. The room is temp controlled. It has a flat screen TV - it ages me to know if a time when they weren't all flat screens. The room sits over the bar, but to be honest, I knew that and didn't care. The showers were hot, the pillows were soft, and the though being on the main drag, my family and I were safe and sound. Rustic, but cozy

I've never stayed in a yurt and thought it would be so cool. Silly me for procrastinating! However, a major development occurred a week after our stay... I requested a refund for a charge to my card. Got an immediate response, but no resolve. So beware of extra charges with no notification or explanation... Moving on. On the property, there are four rentals: two yurts and two tiny houses. Each rental has a unique name. Our tiny house was Casa Pequena. We stayed just one night on 2.15.2025. West Texas charm oozed from the ceiling to the floors. There were tasteful accents of gold and black with the occasional green and red. I won't soon forget the black and white "Prada Marfa" wallpaper. It was all surprisingly relaxing. So. Many. Amenities: Air conditioning Board games Chimenea Coffee/tea maker Extra linens, pillows and blankets Hair Dryer / Heating Iron Fireplace Microwave Outdoor furniture Outdoor grill Oven Refrigerator (stocked upon request) / Freezer Smart TVs Stove Washing machine / Dryer Wireless Internet & more. My favorite parts: + Pets allowed (crates available upon request) + Free parking + Safe, quiet environment + Contactless check-in/out + Dark star-filled night sky My least favorite: - I forgot they have a 10 AM check-out as opposed to 11 AM. like most places. - They have yet to issue me a refund for a pet fee charged TWICE on my credit card. I brought this to their attention and the issue has not been resolved as of 311.2025. It is perhaps "just $25," but it is more so about the principle of the matter. I never received any communication from them about this charge until after I contacted Jamie. Then follow-up was non-existent two different times. You can also at an extra charge add-on a bottle of champagne, firewood, and other items for when you arrive. Base rate = $93.00 Price for extra person = $5.25 Cleaning fee = $40.00 Hotel tax = $6.72 Guest channel fee (this fee supposedly "helps Airbnb maintain and improve the platform") = $2.94 Add-on (Bring your pet) = $25.00 Total price = $172.91 Overall, I enjoyed my visit, but don't like surprise charges to my credit card nor do I appreciate being told "I'm sorry this is a bit complicated... we don't get too many of our bookings through the website" and "I'll look into it" then communication stops. For this matter, I probably will not return. So close to being "The Best Little BnB West of the Pecos."
