We brought my dog Molly there with unexplained bruising on her abdomen and doctor Matt Pennell was AMAZING. My sweet girl is very scared of men due to something that happened in her past before we rescued her and by the time we left she was jumping on him to say goodbye. My 11 year old chihuahua mix was crying out in pain for no apparent reason. I called my regular vet (on a Wednesday morning) and was informed they couldn't see her as no ver was on staff for the day!! What??! After calling numerous local vets I contacted Startown and they agreed to see her right away. I can't tell you how scared I was for my beloved dog and she needed immediate care..they provided that. Dr. Barlow examined her and identified right away what the problem was. He treated her and me with the utmost kindness and respect! He had her feeling better in just a matter of days. I can't say enough good words about the staff specifically Dr Barlow, Dr Bilhorn and assistant Sydney. They all were the epitome of what a care facility should be! I highly recommend this vet clinic! And I would like to add I will be changing where my precious fur baby goes regularly from now on! read more

Terrific staff and doctors. Dr. Bilhorn is wonderful. They have a great place and all have been professional and caring.

When we lose our pet, you would think the staff would send a email with a condolences, but nothing from them. Seems like they're in it for the money. We have had great experiences at Startown Vet. Hospital. Dr. Bilhorn listens to your concerns, and is very kind. The staff is wonderful as well! We had to have our 15 yr. old kitty put to sleep, and we were devastated. The staff and Dr. Bilhorn showed us such care and compassion that day. Our Vet, Dr Inscoe was out of town. Our 13 year old Terrier had lymph node glands swollen terribly. We have never been to Startown Vet. They needed his records. They let us wait and they worked him in on a very busy day. It took a while but they were able to see Cody and examine him. He is very sick. Dr. Pennell was very compassionate and tender with Cody.They treated him with great care and tenderness. Gave us antibiotics and took blood. We are grateful for their care.
