I truly am thankful I found this animal hospital. Dr. Furtago and his staff are so incredibly kind, helpful and loving to my pets and they put up with me. :). Dr. Furtago gets my senior dogs the care they need and not what they do not. There is no greater peace than knowing your pet is getting the best care. The doctor is very knowledgeable and compassionate. Awesome staff. Highly recommend!

To begin with I was very happy with their care. They took my cat in who was unwell the same day we called. They thought it was dehydration and a possible herpes flare up and UTI after doing some tests. So they gave her an IV, antibiotic shot and gave us some medicine for her eyes and to help her appetite. They told us to bring her back in on Friday if she still wasn't eating. We ended up having to bring her back in. After looking at her he thought maybe it was her pancreas so sent us to see the ultrasound specialist at their sister hospital Bethlehem the following week. They gave us morphine to help her with the pain and had given her another IV and had us continue the other medications. They told us they would call us after the ultrasound to tell us what is causing the issues with her. After we got her back we called the next day. The first time we called the receptionist stated that the office that had done the procedure hadn't provided adequate information and they were trying to get it. The second time we called that day we were told the doctor wasn't available and would call back. Third time we called that day we were told the doctor would call after his last patient. The second day we called twice and each time they told us the doctor would call us back. Third day we called the first time they said the doctor had called and left a message. We hadn't received anything. When she checked she had realized she wasn't looking at the wrong client and he hadn't contacted us. Second time called and was told the doctor would contact us after his last patient. So feel like it was $1000 with no clear answers or how to prevent a future occurrence. Would have loved to have follow through like promised and expected. Perhaps they will after this review. One can only hope. read more

The whole staff is fantastic. The ladies at reception are great. They remember my name and my dogs names and genuinely care. My old vets office didn't know me or my dogs even after 10+ years. The vet assistants (sorry I don't know the correct term) are so pleasant as caring. You never feel rushed. Dr Lindstrom is probably the best vet my dogs have ever been to. It's not just that he's an experienced vet, but you can also tell he honestly loves the animals he sees. He's always taken the time to talk to me (and my dogs) and make me feel comfortable about everything. But he's also truthful and doesn't hide the things that Maybe aren't so easy to hear. He's never rushed me or made me feel like I was asking stupid questions or taking up too much time. He discovered an issue with my one dog that my previous vet hadn't and has probably significantly increased the amount of time that we will have her with us. It's hard to manage your dogs Heath when they get older. But this office makes it a really positive experience. read more

My family, and now I do too, have been bringing our furry loved ones here for as long as I can remember, at least 19 years for sure. They take the time to remember each animal by name, which is saying something when your lot is 5 big and has had some turnovers in the years. Always have the best care with the best attitude. read more

Due to the response from mt. View veterinarian on my review in 2014, just to let you know I wrote that review shortly after having to put my jake down due to his kidney cancer from surgery and just now they are responding (what does that tell you) and for the record they diagnosis my jake with German shepherd myelopathy disease and said that a lot of Germans would get this and will lose control of their limbs first hind legs and would be paralyzed than eventually go to front than lose control of their kidneys and bowels told me best thing would be to exercise him for mobility so I walked and walked him to try get strength back in his hind legs wasn't getting any better o I went for another opinion first thing that great dr did as a blood test for the gsmd and he did not have it took x-Ray and found a mass on his kidney but mt.view vet did x-Ray prior and didn't say a thing about that only told me that if I felt better they could send him for a ultrasound for gsmd but didn't think that it would help anything and he wasn't in any pain from it so all along all the walking that I was doing to help him he was in pain all along, I was sick to my stomach knowing that I was making him miserable in the last part of his days by doing what they told me would help him, and further more when I took him to another dr they had a hard time getting his records right away and didn't want me to take him anywhere else. When I went back to confront them after I had to put him down all I got was the blame the other college there that he was his dr when I knew who told me my husband and adult son who had also been taking him there while I worked.
