But over hours 2 later, we got mediocre food, after they finally got our order correct. We've been residents of Onekama for 100 years. You have a lot to work on, first of all professionalism. The bun was a little small for the burger but it was packed with onion rings, bacon and bbq sauce. Again, the onion rings weren't great. The manager/our waitress Mandy was kind and attentive. She asked why I didn't want a box for my burger, and I just said it wasn't really cooked all the way. Then she shared about how things have been rough there and she is hoping to turn it around with being recently hired. She shared how the chef "has no clue what he is doing." Whoever owns Timbers is going to have to close their doors because no one is going to visit a restaurant that is not enjoyable. It was a Saturday night at 5-6pm and there were only 4 tables with people dining. That is a big red flag if your business only has 4 tables on a Saturday. The atmosphere is great, they have an upstairs and a small deck out back, and it is just so sad it is going to waste. There is free street parking and a small parking lot next to the restaurant. Overall I hope this place can turn around.

The outside area is a great place to catch some sun near the lake. Inside is very spacious. We found the service to be pretty attentive. I did not get the chance to try any food. Definitely had a great night there.
