I truly enjoyed this brewery! I have to admit I did not try any beer as I am not a beer drinker. However, my cocktail was fantastic. The outside area is a great place to catch some sun near the lake. Inside is very spacious. We found the service to be pretty attentive. I did not get the chance to try any food. Definitely had a great night there. read more

Honestly-- one of my top breweries In Michigan.. and that says something as I've been to over 90 in the state of Michigan. Delicious food, the turkey crunch wrap.. delish! Paired with some chips and French onion dip.. a perfect lunch. The beers were delicious, and just the vibe outside was great. Shaded outside seating with views of the lake, just the right summertime feel. The service was also super friendly and fast! Highly recommend! read more

Went for lunch with our group of 7 kids. We ate outside and appreciated the large outdoor space, ample shade, and yard games. The crunch wrap and salads were all fantastic! We shared a beer flight--they have quite the variety on tap! Very good! Kids all got the pizzas and they enjoyed them. Staff are very friendly and food came relatively quickly. The inside is also large and has a fun atmosphere with cool coastal murals. The serving style at the moment is to order at the bar and come back to get your food when your buzzer alerts you that the food is ready. It works! We would definitely go back! read more

Food- I just had a pretzel with beer cheese. Upcharge for cheese, but worth it. I recommend sharing this pretzel is the size of a person's head. Oh, and it's coated in everything bagel seasoning. Heaven for carb lover's. Just hope there's no one in your group who fat shames you for a love of carbs. *Cough cough* I visited here after a hike at the CS Mott Preserve with a local hiking group, NCT, I reckon. Grateful for Five Shores for being open on a Monday and having some good food. It was busy when we got there, but the man taking the order was patient and kind. We ordered the crunchwrap with guacamole, the wedge salad, the margarita naan, and an Every Five beer. The beer was delicious--a wonderfully cold, balanced beer with nice hops. I asked if they could do my Crunchwrap without beans and they did--but they put chicken on it (and charged me $3 for it.) Perhaps the nice employee misheard me, as it was loud in there. Sadly, I wanted to share it with my husband who doesn't eat meat, so we couldn't do that. It still was very good. I ordered guacamole with it, but honestly it was just plain mashed avocado. My husband got the wedge salad and asked that the bacon described on the menu be put on the side, but they charged him $1 for that? Salad was good, regardless. The fresh tomatoes on the margarita naan were delicious. There was a nice, big outdoor patio. We'll be back. read more

The vibe inside is inviting, crisp/clean decor (different shades of blues on the walls and tall ceiling with a lot of natural light). Enjoyed the beer we tried (honestly can't recall the names) and their quick order menu. Their pretzel was tasty w/everything bagel seasoning. They have a nice area set up with fire pits in the winter and nice patio for the summer. They have a solid selection of beers and also participate in the passport and TagaBrew trail. The staff is fantastic, the beers are tasty and the atmosphere is fun. The only thing that needs some updating is their food options. Five Shores was hopping on a Thursday afternoon which was fantastic and after tasting the beer I can see why. They had a lot of great choices and special glasses for each variety which is unique. The Indoor seating is great but the outdoor area is where it is at. Team was attentive and happy to make recommendations. We didn't eat but the food coming out looked great. Five Shores has great choices on tap. My husband and I like to get the flights to check them out. We had the chicken nachos and chili today and both were excellent! The beer was good, but wait time for the food was 1 hour and 20 mins. The people that ordered appetizers first, didn't get them until after and hour and 25 mins. The buzzer never buzzed and had to go check on the food by ourselves, restaurant was half empty and now we are the last people here and just got the food, don't get food here, and only come for beer!!! read more

Best beer out of the places I visited this weekend. I loved the Short Fuse but I got a flight and everything I tried was delicious. Our group really enjoyed them too. Food was good and consistent with what you'd enjoy from a brewery. The brownie fudge ice cream they sold was so enjoyable we came back the next evening and got it again. I recently turned 21 and I was excited to try out the brewery with my family. heading in, I don't have my new I.D but I have my regular id but with the paper from the Secretary of State, which every casino has accepted and every bar and winery I've been to since turning 21. the server was extremely rude and didn't even look at it and said he could not accept it. didn't even care to hear what it was. KNOW THE LAW. horrible experience. go anywhere else. just disgusting read more
