I have been to the State Farm Stadium a handful of times, from Cardinals games to concerts. Security has always been smooth and secure, the bathrooms are never too bad and there are enough of them throughout the stadium that you are never searching too long. The parking lot is huge, to be expected and though it does take time to get in and out, it isn;t the worse I have experienced at a stadium of this size. Lastly, the suite's have always been nice, with friendly staff and tasty food, though not the typical visit. My most recent experience was when I went for the Eras tour - the concert was phenomenal, on a side-note! The entire production and quality from the sound to the views was great. The big loss is that the stadium ran out of water, which is really surprising to me, especially since we live in the desert, I feel that is something that should not be happening and is easily preventable. Other than being located on the opposite side of the valley to me, it's a nice stadium. As usual, expect to pay above average costs for food and beverage, but really just stack up on water or offer water refill stations if you cannot accommodate or manage the demand. read more

We had seats a Club level for the Final Four. I was concerned about the view in a football stadium for basketball games. But the view was actually pretty good (see photos). The club level does have some seating areas not available up higher (see photos). The concessions are pretty much the same. All in all great experience for Final Four. read more

Morgan Wallen Concert I came recently for the Morgan Wallen concert, and while the performance itself was incredible, the overall venue experience was a major letdown. Layout & Concessions Let me start by saying the layout of this venue is chaotic at best. It took almost an hour just to get a bottle of water, and with so many people packed into one place, that's just not acceptable especially for families with small children or anyone with mobility or accessibility needs. There simply aren't enough concession options or staff to handle large crowds efficiently. Sound System The sound quality left a lot to be desired. I understand it's a massive stadium, but even still, the audio clarity was inconsistent and muffled, which took away from parts of the experience. Rideshare Nightmare The rideshare setup was the absolute worst part of the night. * Staff were giving mixed information, we were told there were shuttles to take us to the rideshare area, only to find out there weren't any. * Uber's designated pickup point wasn't aligned with the venue's location, so rides were getting canceled, and you couldn't adjust your pickup location within the app. * The Uber system crashed for 3-4 hours, and hundreds of people were left stranded outside the venue--families with kids, elderly guests, out-of-town visitors--no staff or help in sight. After hours of confusion and walking, a kind staffer on a golf cart was able to take us partway to the far east side of the stadium. My young child and I still had to walk nearly a mile just to get far enough from the crowds to (hopefully) catch a ride. We didn't get back to our hotel until 2 a.m. Even local law enforcement on site were frustrated, saying the situation was completely mismanaged. Comparison to AT&T Stadium (Dallas) To put this in perspective: I've been to AT&T Stadium in Dallas, which is just as massive--if not bigger. I attended a sellout event there with tens of thousands of people, and the difference was night and day. The rideshare setup was smooth, communication from staff was clear, and I was back at my hotel within 20-30 minutes of the concert ending. They had shuttles, signage, crowd control, and coordination--everything that was missing at State Farm Stadium. Final Thoughts I absolutely loved the concert, but I will think twice before returning to this venue, especially with a child or anyone who needs accommodations. The disorganization, lack of transportation planning, and poor crowd management made what should have been a great night incredibly stressful. Until they overhaul the rideshare logistics and improve their operations, I can't recommend State Farm Stadium for large-scale events. read more

But the Rams-Vikings game, displaced by California wildfires, drew me to the sprawling desert city of Phoenix. I've seen my share of stadiums. California. Vegas. Denver. Each with its own personality, its quirks, its scars. And while State Farm Arena eventually won me over, let's not sugarcoat the start. Pre-purchased parking in the elusive green zone turned into a comedy of errors as navigation apps sent us to the wrong lot, where we were promptly dismissed without so much as a breadcrumb trail to our destination. Stadium entry wasn't much smoother. Pro tip: if you're building a state-of-the-art venue, invest in signage. Once inside, though? It was a revelation. I had club-level seats, so I can only speak to this gilded section of the arena, but let me tell you--this was football, reimagined. The space spanned nearly the entire stadium, with open bars and dining areas that felt more like a high-end food festival than a sporting venue. We started with a toast at the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar. Yes, a Champagne Bar in a football stadium. From there, it was freshly sliced roast beef sandwiches--so tender and flavorful they could've held their own in any reputable deli--and steak nachos so audaciously large they bordered on obscene, in the best possible way. Fans from both teams mingled in expansive, open spaces, drinks in hand, the tension of rivalry giving way to shared indulgence. The stadium seating itself? Comfortable. No cramped knees or architectural oversight. The roof, thankfully closed on this brisk evening, created a cocoon of warmth and light, making the game itself almost an afterthought. Which, given the Vikings' dismal performance, was just as well. State Farm Arena, for all its logistical hiccups, is a testament to what stadiums should be. A sanctuary for fans, food lovers, and curious onlookers alike. It's an experience, not just a game. Just fix the damn parking signs. read more

We attended the Arizona Super Show here this past weekend. The car show & concert was well attended, & cars were displayed both (mostly) inside the arena & outside where the 94° temps were brutal. I'm dating myself here but when Oakland rappers Dru Down & Yukmouth (of the Luniz) took the stage, the 1990's version of me recalled every song lyric (& I can't even remember what I had for lunch yesterday!) So happy I got to see them perform because their songs really are a part of the soundtrack to my youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. Few complaints about the event set-up: concession stands were few & far between, & there was always a line on the arena steps to get either to or from the main floor because floor access locations were limited; this event was severely understaffed. However, the few staff members we did interact with were super friendly. Like most stadiums, State Farm Arena practices a clear-bag policy if your bag is over a certain size. Uber pick-up & drop-off area is far from the front doors so be prepared to walk a bit if you're calling a rideshare. read more

We attended Monster Jam here last night. Paid for VIP parking, but could not get to it. Had three different parking attendants direct us into three different gates, but were told each time we could not get there from here. Finally one of the attendants suggested that we could park where we were next to, and abandon the VIP parking. $70 dollars wasted, and a very high level of frustration for my wife and I. Almost an hour spent trying to get to VIP, and ran out of time. We were almost an hour early to begin with. Really poor experience and a waste of money. All of the lot attendants were nice. Inside, I went to get food for the family. Excited to see a "Cold Beer and Cheeseburger" vendor. Beelined for it. Ordered a DoubleCheese, and it immediately came out, which means that it had been precooked and sitting. Red flag, but was in a hurry. Went to pay, and and the attendant reached over me to push the 10% tip option. I was stunned. I asked her....did you just give yourself a tip? She replied that the button she had pushed, and cancelled the tip. ( I had already seen the sales summary being displayed, and it clearly had a tip line. ) So she lied and stole from me. I would have asked for a manager, but the parking fiasco had already made us late, and the races were running already. Burger was cold and terrible. I will avoid future events at this venue. Such a shame that employees brazenly steal. read more

Venue for Supercross and the event was good and staff friendly. The parking- what a nightmare! It took us 27 minutes to back out of our handicap spot because I am handicap and then it took another 20 to get out onto the road to sit in traffic for even longer. There was no guidance on where to go to park for handicap, the guy was to tweaked out to listen to your question. The fact they don't have parking attendants at the end of rows to help people get out baffles me because these drivers definitely don't think they should let anyone out. Fix your parking! read more

Sep/21/2025 the Charlie Kirk Memorial at this stadium was amazing! The parking lot had approximately 30,000 people waiting in line between 5-8 hours. They had no water stations set up and only 5-8 bathrooms available for 30,000+. People were passing out in the sun parking lot. I didn't see any security. My tax money paid for this!!!! read more

Very nice stadium with ample parking. It's very clean and the seats are cushioned and comfortable. There are lots of restrooms and concession stands. Prices are high as I imagine they are at any NFL stadium. I thought the production they put on for the game was very professional and high quality. The only down sides for me were it was too loud and the constant up and down to let the others in the aisle out. That's just my opinion. Overall a great experience if you are a sports fan. read more

10.2022 Cardinals vs Eagles Football Game !! By farrrrr one of the best stadiums visited !! I love love love the set up of everything!! We visited from out of town and caught an Uber from our hotel. The closer we got to the beltway exit, we could see the stadium, parking lots and lots of happenings. Our Uber let us off across the street at a designated drop off area that appears for tailgating. We were encouraged to walk across a bridge that captured a view of the beltway. As we kept walking, there was all this pretty green turf w activities for the family. Once we were even closer, there were several promos (Coca Cola, etc) w freebies as well as food vendors w food for purchase. There were all kinds of games and huge TV screens, tents, etc. It was amazing all of the activities offered prior to entering the stadium. The stadium itself was very nice, updated, and had vendors galore. Yall know how I feel about vendors !! There was not a bad seat in the house. I was hoping to sneak a peak at Retired Wide Receiver Larry Fitzgerald but he wasn't there. Nevertheless, there were a few other football greats as well as ESPN commentators on the field. Man, hubby and I had a grrreeeatttt time here at State Farm Stadium and would definitely return. We met so many great folks from all over and the vibes were right !! Another gem is this place is across the street from Westgate Entertainment that is the Platinum Edition of all Entertainment Centers but I'll talk more about that in Westgate's Review. I recently attended the Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert here on March 17th and 18th and had the absolute best time! We knew traffic would be crazy, so we drove here about two hours before doors opened. Parking was easy to find and navigate through with the huge signs clearly marking everything and staff guiding the way. The only difficult part was navigating through all the road closures. Getting through security and checking in was seamless. The difficult part was getting through the main concourse. The lines for everything got so long that they overlapped and left little room to navigate through to get to our section after we finished going to the Capitol One video booth, grabbing drinks, and using the restroom. Some parts were so overly packed like a can of sardines, it was hard to move through. However, everything was great once we got to our seats. Great view of the stage, with amazing sound quality. And large screens everywhere for those sitting further away or with obstructed views. The concert itself was phenomenal. The performances were top notch by all, Gayle, Paramore and especially Taylor, her band, back up singers and dancers. One thing I would say that surprised me the most was that the restrooms were always stocked on toilet paper. When I usually go to any sporting event or concert their toilet paper and soap is always out. That was not the case here. Kudos to the staff for being able to keep up with that. Now, for after the concert however, we had a hard time finding our parking spot again from the doors we exited, but the security staff were very helpful and friendly and tried to help us figure out where we were supposed to get to from the point we were at. Once we found our parking spot, we unfortunately got stuck sitting in traffic for about forty-five minutes before we could even move an inch. Nonetheless, we had the TIME OF OUR LIVES at the show that we didn't mind fighting all the dragons (the traffic in the main concourse and in the parking lot) with the rest of you! Would definitely recommend planning ahead if you come to this venue for any large scale event so you won't be caught off guard. read more

Here to see Morgan Wallen, they show you a full bar but only serve certain drinks. Also parking is less than desired. You pay for parking ahead of time but still wait in long lines to get in. Not very organized, also now as we are trying to leave after the concert. We have been sitting in the same spot for 15 mins , I haven't even seen any movement. This review is regarding our experience after a show not the venue itself. I would only encourage they sell waters as people are leaving the stadium or have water dispensers available. We had a blast at the Morgan Wallen concert but the ride-share situation is horrendous. We took a Lyft (Uber) to the stadium and was told they must drop us off across the street. 105 degree weather! After the show we decided to stay in Westgate to get some food but every restaurant had 50-200 foot lines. We ended up walking to Raising Canes for food and wait for our Lyft 2 hours after the show ended. Prices of rides and wait times to get them were very high, $100 for a 10 mile drive. The traffic controller and Glendale City needs to work on this, as well stadium staff need to remind patrons they won't be able to find Water easily after leaving the stadium. read more

We went to state farm for a Luke Combs concert. Traffic getting to this stadium was crazy. So please plan for that. We did so I wasn't stressed about the bumper to bumper traffic going and leaving. Got parking in the nearest garage and walked over. Maybe 10 minute walk. Once at the gates they require you to have a clear bag. I didn't bring a bag at all so we went right through security and mediccheck and we were on our way. We have been to State Farm several times and we never had an issue. The staff has always been nice and helpful. Many places to get food and or drinks inside the stadium and surrounding outside. read more

The outside graphics are horrible on the Stadium but the Stadium is huge and nice! It gave me a little anxiety with the crowd of humans but it was expected considering the SuperBowl. I've gone here before for another event so it wasn't my first but this is the first overly crowded event. Parking is actually all over the place and not very organized honestly when it comes to the SuperBowl event but it was expected. What was not expected is the price to park ranging from$100 and up! We came here during Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season. My Kansas City Chiefs were in town so I had to go see them! We road tripped to Phoenix and attended the game. The parking was good near the Westgate area, you'll just have to walk about 15 minutes to the stadium area. It was a good experience in the stadium, most of the fans were wearing Chiefs gear. The only bad thing was getting out of the parking lot after the event. There was not a lot of staff directing traffic. I recently attended the opening night of Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium, and it was an incredible experience. The concert broke the record for the most-attended female concert in the US, with over 69,000 people in attendance. Despite the massive scale of the event, I thought the overall experience was pretty smooth. The parking lots opened at noon, even though the concert doors didn't open until 4:30 for a 6:30pm start time. I found that getting there early was key to avoiding any major traffic or delays. I arrived at 2pm and did find the signs to the stadium a little confusing at first due to road closures, but once I picked up on them, it was smooth sailing. I've seen people who tried to arrive closer to the start time faced major traffic delays. One thing that stood out to me was how great the sound quality was for the concert. I'm glad that I brought earplugs with me because the fans combined with the show were so loud! With the earplugs in, the sound was just right, and I was able to fully enjoy the performance. One thing I discovered after the show was that they had a sensory-friendly quiet room available for anyone who needed a quiet, dark space. I thought that was a really cool feature that not every venue offers. As for the food, it was expensive as expected and the lines were insane for this event. But I would imagine that's the case for any venue and event of this size. On the plus side, I found the security to be nice and the bag policy was easy to understand and find before the show. One thing that surprised me was how easy it was to leave the concert. However, I later found out that not everyone had the same experience. I was able to find my car quickly and loved how most of the surrounding area was closed so everyone could head outbound. It helped parking by Gate 3 and toward the back of the lot. Most people experienced hours of traffic and many who relied on ride shares were left waiting until 3:30am for rides that ultimately never came. I'm guessing the first round of drivers got stuck in that traffic and couldn't make it back to the stadium? It looked stressful and made me thankful for my smooth experience. I was in my hotel within an hour of the show ending. I had a great experience at State Farm Stadium. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this venue for a large-scale event, but make sure to plan ahead. read more

The game was great but the first two customer service workers i interacted with had zero customer service skills. I brought my clear purse to the game, couldnt bring it in bc it was pink and clear, okay. Then the second guy, i asked him how to get back in bc he was directing traffic. By far my favorite stadium (next to Arrowhead) This is an absolutely beautiful stadium! Perfect size, plenty of parking, nicest employees all over the place! We love Club Section and their's is amazing! Plenty of premium bars, lounges, seating... The lines are not insanely long at all with plenty of bartenders to help you! They have a fantastic happy hour before and after the game as well! The seats are so comfortable with lots of legroom however we were in row 1 so we couldn't ask for a better spot! The food was also amazing! We enjoyed tacos from a local business that sets up there and well worth the wait! I was amazed at how organized they were they were so busy and we just had to wait patiently for our food-their Carne Asada and chicken tacos are so good! Another really cool thing is when you walk out of the stadium and parallel to the parking lot for maybe five minutes you come upon the Westgate Entertainment District outdoor mall with shops and lots of bars/restaurants fun stuff to do after the game! We had a couple days of events here to case the perimeter for our master plan on game day. All weekend was pretty mellow and far from crowded. Only busy during the two concerts just outside of the stadium for a few hours. Most of the big events were in Phoenix and Scottsdale. With girls in tow and east side events being far and for adults we just kicked it here. My brother in law who just retired from the police force does not care for this area due to crime. We didn't have any issues even late on a weekend. The events were in a centralized area had detectors and scanners for weapons. Local police and S.W.A.T. were all around. I personally didn't see S.W.A.T. but a lot of employees were talking about them in the area. We parked behind Caramba's in an open lot and walked. Free parking. We left after each night right away grabbing a bite to eat and were able to hop into the car pull right onto Glendale Road. and and head home. The concession food reasonable. They definitely made their money on the drinks. They had food trucks parked outside which you could bring food into the stadium. Huge portions! Box seating had an upgraded menu and specialty drinks included. This was our first event here. We plan on coming back to compare events. read more

My review is two parts: one for the drive, parking, tailgating, and general AZ Cardinals experience pre-game, and two for the game, seating, access, and getaway. Our experience was Oct 19, 2025 Packers @ Cardinals. Pre-game: Does any team in the NFL present a more miserable, and confusing tailgating experience than the Cardinals? Yes, I am biased and spoiled as a Green Bay fan. The Packers wholeheartedly embrace the fans full-experience and make us all feel like family working toward a common goal of winning. The (typical) Cardinals experience makes you feel like you are always one-step away from violating some ridiculous rule and being reprimanded. Granted, both teams allow tailgating 4 hours before kickoff, but I've been to Lambeau Field as many as 5 hours early w out issue. The VERY VERY WORST OF ALL... You are NOT allowed to tailgate or stay in your tailgate and enjoy the atmosphere after the game kicks off or do any kind of celebrating after the game! What? What the hell kind of rule is that? Is it because you only win 41% of the games since 1899? You want your fans to stay away from the stadium if they don't have a ticket, then leave promptly if they do have a ticket. Disgusting. I guess unless you know how other teams are allowed to do it, you might find it normal - but it is NOT. In Green Bay, you can arrive early, have a massive party, never go into the stadium for a single game (we have friends who do that every game, every year) start tailgating all over again after the game, and you can leave the stadium lots when you are good and ready. Im sure there is a time restriction, we've just never seen it, or seen it enforced. In Wisconsin, we joke that you have until the next game to leave your tailgate party. It makes us feel important. It takes the sting out of an 18.00 beer. It makes us feel like we count in the pilgrimage for a championship. Maybe this is what being a perennial loser does to an org? "Thanks for coming and using two paychecks to bring your family, don't have too much fun, and then leave right away to minimize the experience and perhaps our liability." Maybe this is what happens when you lose so often? Or do you lose so often because this is how you function? Do you know how hard it is to lose 849 games in the NFL that is designed to take turns winning and being good? The Packers couldn't be more different in how they treat their fans, and their record, over the course of 100 plus years, not only represents that commitment to the fans and winning, but is almost exactly the opposite of the Cardinals. Green Bay has won over 800 games with only 600 losses and the Cardinals have lost 850 games while winning just 595 games (Im counting next week's loss to the Cowboys already) Do you realize that would take 15 UNDFEATED SEASONS in a row just to get back to being an team that wins only half the time??? An NFL team can hide its genuine desire to win over the course of any given season or even a decade, but when the sampling is 105 years and counting, it is indefensible. The drive from anywhere you would want to stay, East Valley, Scottsdale etc is a pain, but gets really stupid as you get to the poorly designed streets surrounding the stadium. You will find more confusing safety cones smatterings blocking off roads than is necessary and weird restricted or confusing-at-best, pathways to get to your lot. Parking personnel are not knowledgeable and don't seem to know how to advise if you get off the ideal route to your lot. Our Lot was Green F, and we arrived 18 min early and were among the first to park. We set up our RV, and half our tailgate only to be told we have to uproot and change the direction we were facing and move our vehicle. If you know RV-ing, you know how undesirable that is. This is the typical Cardinals experience that I have witnessed in the Valley for over four decades, watching this miserable organization try to give its consumers the bare minimums they need to remain supportive, only to get trampled by an organization that has had only one common denominator since 1932, well that and ZERO championships. I always warn out-of-towners they should be prepared for things to not make sense. Dysfunction will always be buoyed to underproduction and dissatisfaction. I give the pre-game experience a .5 half a star. The best parts being weather, great company, and the show of support for a team that actually cares about us... and thank goodness they can't manipulate any of that. The in-game experience was surprisingly excellent. Whoever, is in charge of ushers or guest services folk A+. Friendliness of the those greeters and service people in the building was amazing. So Un-Cardinal like to be treated so kindly. The food and timeliness of service is typical-minus w halftime lines too long and bathroom experiences (of course) confusing at best. I dropped my friend and her kids off here last night for The Weeknd. The driving set up to get in was utterly torturous. It took almost an hour waiting in traffic, with people trying to cut in, no direction from anyone, minimal signage and lots of cones, barricades and dead ends. And no, we did not get there late. It was that disorganized. You'd think that they know how to manage the flow at this point and make it easier on customers that pay hundreds of dollars there. Rideshare location is not convenient. Parking is expensive. Suffice it say, I've never attended an event here and now, there's zero chance I will ever put myself through driving to this venue again. read more
