I like how honest these players are. Their Cardinal virtues, you might say. But several of them recently quit to go into religion. They became Roman Catholic Cardinals. And have you ever seen a urinal with a greeting card dropped into it? It's called a "Cardinal". First-Hand Experience: I've seen Arizona play both home and away and I'm lucky enough to say that watching Fitzgerald in person was a real thrill. The guy is so fast and so good. One of the best receivers I've ever seen. The Cards won the home game I saw, but this was a few years back. It was at Sun Devil - so quite a few years. Then I've seen them play away from home once as I said, which was up in Seattle and what a game that was. I have massive respect for the Cardinals and hope they can get a more intense crowd more religiously and earn that 5th star. Now that I've seen every NFL team play live & been to every NFL stadium (current and former), time to review them on Yelp! I love stadiums! I've been to every cool stadium in the UK & North America, due to my obsession with travel & sport. I've toured America as a musician for 7 years. In that time, I've seen sports games at (or visited when empty, or both) almost every major stadium in US and Canada. I have pictures of most which I'll upload at some point. Also, on future travels, I plan to take new pix, and add more stadia! Watch this space! ***back to regular review*** I liked it better when they played at Sun Devil Stadium because, well, it was called Sun Devil Stadium. But this new stadium is absolutely amazing and they're a really cool team. It was shame they didn't win the superbowl with Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald because those are two of my fave players and it would have really silenced all those foolish Kurt Warner critics. Definitely a team that I respect and like, and I would even go as far as to saying that because they are underdogs, they might even be my fave team in the division. I like all four teams though, I gave them all 4/5. I like that Phoenix has a Ted's Hot Dogs (Buffalo's finest), but my fave thing to eat in AZ has to be Carolina's, some amazing south western food right near downtown Phoenix. Try it! As a Minnesota native I've had the pleasure of seeing my Vikings reach four Super Bowls. Well, I didn't see them in the first one, cuz I was barely an embryo at the time. But I was glued to the screen for three of those championship games. We lost the first one. And the second. No shit. We lost the third. Fourth times a charm though, right? In my best Whitney, "Oh hell to the NO!" Zero for four. Just like Mclean Stevenson sitcom career. So Cardinals. YEA! Kickass and Woo Freakin' Hoo Baby! I'm stoked for the big game. I'm still in shock and awe that the Cardinals are (might be) a real, bonafide team. Come January 2009, I *had* to watch the Super Bowl just to verify that fact. I was once convinced that they were part of some elaborate, Andy Kaufmanesque hoax. I had heard of the Stanford Cardinal. I knew that there was a baseball team called the Cardinals. Very disappointed in the manner in which the Cardinals and their "Neanderthal" staffing company handled my wife and I when we went to the practice event 8/5/2014 at UOP stadium. My wife has a disability and was gruffly treated and refused admittance at Gate 3 @2:10 PM, and when we asked for a supervisor, HE WAS EVEN WORSE! We're contacting US DOJ about discrimination against disabled persons, but as excited as we might be with their team, we'll never go again and will try to dissuade others after our experience. read more

I've only been a fan since Boldin came to Az, but what atmosphere it has brought to the valley, and I really didn't believe that the 'Cards would make it to a championship game before the SUNS!! but hey, being a fan - i'll take it!! Arizona Cardinals vs Seattle Seahawks Hi my name is Cody. I am a veteran from north of Atlanta, Georgia, and my wife is from north of Seattle, Washington. Long story short I have traveled the world and been to 34 states and 5 countries, along the way seeing amazing things and experiencing unexplainable things. One thing we have in common of the many is that we love is the game of football in the NFL. If you have not been to an NFL game you should plan that in your near future, as it's an unexplainable adventure. The Phoenix Cardinals vs the Seattle Seahawks game is a great experience, and one of the best places I've ever been to. As your experience begins you definitely want to arrive to the stadium at least two to three hours early. When you arrive to the stadium early not only do you beat the rush hour traffic, but you also will find your parking spot fairly easy. The perks of showing up early is that you get to experience what they call in this modern term (Tailgating). Tailgating is where thousands of fans from all around the country meet up outside the stadium before the game to celebrate, grill, play games, and socialize. If your going to an NFL game you definitely want to experience the tailgating as it's the best part of your day before the game, besides they have concerts and tents set up around the stadium as well and you want the time to check out your surroundings and not be in a rush. When your finished with tailgating and experiencing the outside activities, then you want to make your way inside the stadium. Of course there is a long annoying line as twenty thousand people are going inside the stadium. When you get to the door everyone is checked for guns and knives as to make sure it is a safe for all who enters; you get your tickets scanned and proceed to the arena. If you are hungry or want snacks and drinks, now is the time before you find your seats. There are vendors, souvenir shops, all the food you could imagine, you name it and they will have it, and even games set up all around the arena. Oh and the smell, it varies from popcorn, hotdogs, hamburgers, BBQ, pizza, wings, candy, cologne, perfume, and even peoples body oder as you walk around finding your seats. I recommend the BBQ or hotdog with mustard with fries or chips; you can never go wrong at a game, and possibly a pretzel. Oh the anticipation as it has built up as you find your seats. As you look around you see thousands of people with jerseys of their favorite players, and shirts and colors, painted faces, and even costumes to represent their team. It's finally time, what you came here for, the game is starting. All the players sprint onto the field and you can only experience how exiting and loud the cheering, screaming, clapping, and stomping going on at this spot, in this arena, its truly magical to see the emotion in the air. The whole arena comes to a pause in respect as the National Anthem begins from start to finish; then in a crazed motion as the twenty thousand people uproar again as the game begins. With the crash of the tackles, and the screeches of the players and coaches, there is never a dull moment. There are amazing catches that seem impossible, and there are runs with precise cuts, speed, and skill. Oh how your heart will beat and the nerves will shoot up and down all game with anxiety and nervous energy of what's to come next. The team you've traveled to see has either won or lost on an uphill battle of such energy and exhaustion, you can only be proud of the teams as they have put there brothers and teams first to put on a show you will never forget. The feelings you get from an NFL game is unexplainable. The whole experience is worth every penny you will spend as it will always be a treasured memory you will never regret. In fact the only thing you will regret is that you didn't plan a visit to a game much sooner. Please do yourself a favor and plan your trip and get tickets to an NFL game. The Arizona Cardinals vs the Seattle Seahawks game is one of the best things I have ever experienced, and will go down as one of my favorite times and place I've ever been to. read more

The Cardinals have began to change the reputation as a losing franchise. Team has at least 1 future Hall of Famer on it. They have about 3 others that should garner consideration when they do retire. I am not including future stars in that. Fitzgerald, Dockett, Peterson, Abraham are the players I am including. They have fairly recently had 3 home playoff games. A Super Bowl Run. The experience of watching a game live is awesome. Especially, when games are close. A lot of games of come down to the wire. Factor in some of those have been playoff games. The experience is one of the best I have ever experienced. Do not ever judge the overall experience if you happen to attend a preseason game. These games are meaningless to the fans and they feel that way. They are fun to go to, but not even close to the same. The overall event is awesome. You have to go all out at least once. Take the family, or friends. Tailgate, enjoy the game, go to Westgate afterwards. Staff has always been friendly. Service has never been bad, but it has gotten better.
