I attended my first professional football game where the chiefs played the cardinals and had a great time. Though I'm a lions fan at heart and will always be I put on some gear for team spirit. I found someone to take my picture too. Will be back whenever the cardinals play the lions again

The Arizona Cardinals are one of the oldest teams in the NFL. They and the Chicago Bears are the only two teams that competed in the NFL's inaugural season in 1920 and are still active today. Back then, the NFL was known as the APFA (American Professional Football Association) and the Cards were known as the Racine Cardinals (a.k.a. Chicago Cardinals). Before the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, the Cardinals won two NFL championships (1925, 1947). The Bears won eight. Among these two oldest teams, only the Bears have won a Super Bowl (1986). Throughout the team's long history, the Cards just haven't performed well. Since the team's first NFL season in 1920, they have the third-worst win percentage, regular season and playoffs combined, of the league's current 32 teams. In the Super Bowl era (1967-present), the Cards have only reached the Super Bowl once (2009). At 75 years and counting, the Cardinals currently have the longest championship drought among all NFL teams. I believe it may also be the longest active drought among all major North American professional sports teams. Playoff appearances were few and far between for the Cardinals from the 1949 season through the 2007 season. They mustered only five playoff appearances in 59 years. However, in the late 2000s into the mid-2010s, head coaches Ken Whisenhunt and Bruce Arians led the Cards to the playoffs four times in eight years. Obviously, a huge improvement. So far, Whisenhunt has been the only coach to lead the Cardinals to a Super Bowl. He played college football at Georgia Tech, same school I went to. Just three years prior to leading the Cards to Super Bowl XLIII, he helped head coach Bill Cowher and the Pittsburgh Steelers win Super Bowl XL in 2006 (2005 season). Whisenhunt was the Steelers' offensive coordinator. He called the trick play where Antwaan Randle El threw a touchdown pass to Hines Ward: https://youtu.be/M4D7TVItbmE. Whisenhunt had to face his old team, the Steelers, in Super Bowl XLIII (2009; 2008 season). Super Bowl XLIII is considered one of the best NFL games ever played. The Cardinals had only gone 9-7 in the regular season that year and they entered the game as seven-point underdogs. They covered. The final score was Steelers 27, Cardinals 23. You can watch the full game on YouTube, via the NFL's official channel, here: https://youtu.be/5GEtlF6Zftg. Bruce Arians was named NFL Coach of the Year for the 2014 season when he led the Cardinals to an 11-5 regular season record in just his second year at Arizona. Of course, Arians later led the Tom-Brady-era Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Super Bowl LV championship in 2021 (2020 season). Quarterbacks Kurt Warner (2005-2009, played in Super Bowl XLIII) and Kyler Murray (current Cards QB since 2019) and wide receivers Anquan Boldin (2003-2009) and Larry Fitzgerald (2004-2020) have been some standout players for the Cardinals over the last two decades. Murray, Boldin, and Fitzgerald were all drafted by the Cards. Fitzgerald has gone down in history as one of the greatest receivers of all time. I admire how he stuck with Arizona for his entire 17-year NFL career.

There are no bad seats in the place, you don't get hidden behind pillars or walls. I've been to a few stadiums, we have the most open concept so far. I wish the roof was open more often. But I do love the a/c in the summer. They used to sell coffee. I haven't found any this year yet, but it's only my second game of 2021 so hears to hoping. I'm on a DD list, so it's a really nice option. The restrooms are cleaned often, before and since covid. I enjoy coming to the games, this is my 16th season now. I'll be back as long as we can get season tickets. Going on 31 years with the Cardinals, we're bound to win a superbowl !

Can't really say much about the Cardinals themselves but for the office staff and media team I wish I could give you 10 stars. Dec 23rd 2018 we took my 96 year old WWII veteran FIL to his first live NFL game. We donated to the Cardinals Charities and we put the following message on the score board "honouring WWII Veteran Carl F attending his first NFL game" A day before we received a call asking where we were sitting as the media team were going to attempt a close up at the same time but could not promise anything. We told dad just as we entered the 1st break and at the time of the scoreboard messages, the message was posted to the board and a huge cheer came out from the crowd... the announcer then read the sign out and people started to cheer, stand and applaud Just as the camera went on my Dad the people in front decide this was a good time to stand up and block us. Thankful that the media team came back to us and my dad was able to stand and salute the cheering crowd. Due to the people in front we could not get a great photo or video however the media team followed up a few days later with some fantastic photos for us. During half time we attempted to walk through the stadium... my dad was stopped by so many people who recognise him from the score board and they were excited to shake his hand and thank him for his service in person. So as you reflect on this year's performance, just know the Cardinals made a fighter of 5 WWII tours very welcome and honoured

What a great time I had at the game. Friendly tailgating, great food trucks outside the stadium, and a lot of planned activities for the fans. Unfortunately the Steelers fans travel well and the crowd seemed 80% yellow and black but everyone enjoyed the game and had a good time. It was a good game to. The Cardinals are my new team . . . . after the Ravens of course.

Let me start by saying I'm not a cardinal fan, I married into it. I married a cardinal fan from birth. We decided to do a family weekend to Glendale for a game. So there I am 10 cardinal fans and a me. I didn't wear my team colors but cardinal red. Aside from the walking journey we had a great time. The cardinals played a fantastic game and beat the visiting team. My husband loves his team good and bad times don't change him watching faithfully. I watch with him and if they aren't playing my team I cheer them on. I have loved watching Fitzgerald for years on TV so watching him play in the flesh was fantastic. Rise the Ref S

Pre-season is always fun to check out. The stadium is great. Club level has its perks for sure

The Arizona Coyotes (known as the Yotes) are a professional ice hockey team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Coyotes compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division in the Western Conference and currently play at the Mullett Arena in Tempe. Everyone knows I'm a hockey fan. This is one team that I'm sorry to say has been taking a slippery slide down the ice. When you read the team history it is very disheartening. The new owners are trying to breathe life into the team. I'm afraid they need to just take them off life support and let them die in peace. When you can't fill a 5000 seat college arena you definitely have a problem. I just can't think of a reason to give the Yotes more than two stars.

I am excited to have the Coyotes play in the new arena to be located near my home, just down Scottsdale Rd, in Tempe on Arizona State University's campus. It's a temporary home (shared with ASU hockey) until a new dedicated arena and entertainment complex is built nearby. Seating will be limited for the next couple years, bit that should only add to the intensity of the crowd
