I've been going to state valley since 2020 and they have been very helpful and they do amazing work.

Had been going to State Valley Dental, Graham Road for a few yrs. Called to get in for a cracked crown. Was told to go in the following day at 6:45am, considered an emergency appt. Long story short, sat there for over 3 hours waiting, front desk barely acknowledged me. Had to ask if I would be seeing anyone. That time came and went. Will never return to State Valley Dental. I recently visited State Valley Dental on Graham Rd. I went to start the process for new denture because my old one were more than 10 years old and I recently broke the lower completely in half. I had fixed them with super glue and was happy with my repair, I just want to start the process for new. The Dr. said he would repair them better, I asked the nurse if that would affect the insurance to cover the new set. She went to billing and supposedly they checked into it after about 10 mins the nurse came back and said it would not effect the new ones. Now after all said and done the insurance company says they won't cover the lowers because of the repair, I was never going to do the repair until the billing person said there would be no problems getting the new dentures covered. Now I have to come out of pocket $350 + for new lowers. After calling the manager and talking to her to about a half hour she said they would not make and adjustments to the billing and hung up on me. This whole situation could have been resolved if the billing clerk would have done her job properly, and now State Valley will not do anything to help me! I think this is completely their fault and I just want what is right! Any advice? Thank you for your time' read more

My son and I had been patients of Dr. Moreno at this practice for 10+ years, but when he left the practice quality went down hill. We've been billed wrong, but hundreds of dollars, TWICE. Additionally, we've both had to have treatments redone, entirely, due to poor care. My son, who had to have 6 fillings, spread over 3 appointments, went for his follow up, just to be told, they all needed redone, because the "mix was wrong". It made no sense. We've changed practices and now I have to have 1 of my treatments redone because it was poorly done. The hygienists were always great, but we will never return. They're cheaper than other dentists, but you get what you pay for. read more

Nobody likes visiting the dentist. I have used State Valley for the last 5 years. I had my first root canal there & am no longer afraid of them. The staff is very friendly & want to make sure you are comfortable. They have been great with my kids also. My son had to have 7 baby teeth taken out. He was afraid at first, but felt no pain. They are great about reminding you of your appointments. You can have them text, email or call. I highly recommend this dental office! They have been awesome!!! read more

State Valley Dental provides an awesome Dental Health Care Team that provides kind, courteous, and helpful service. We love Denny! She makes sure that our teeth are always in tip-top shape. On 3/6/2019 I checked in to my appointment on time for a cleaning. X-rays were taken of my bitewings. The dental assistant took me to my chair and begin checking the pockets with the instrument, I ask her to be mindful of my bridge area,it is very tender. When she got to area of (My Bridge area), she was very rough and causing me major pain. I asked her not to be rough; she stated "I can be rougher." At that point I was totally pissed and I let her have it. When the Doctor came in to do his checks, in front of him; I told her she owned me an apology, she stated just let the doctor finish what he's doing. I have been going there for years, and never experienced such rudeness and unprofessionalism.t that point her apology ment NOTHING to me, and I felt she really didn't mean it. I express to the Doctor, she can never do my cleaning, she can never touch me again. This is my first BAD experience, not by a doctor, but a dental assistant. This is unacceptable. The Doctor ask if there was a person that I preferred? I stated no, just not her. As of this morning, my upper area is still hurting. I will talk with the office manager today. read more

They are the only ones in the area that I know that take my specific Medicaid program. They have re-attached old crowns, done extractions, and filled cavities for me. Professional and do nice work. Made me feel comfortable even though my teeth are in bad shape from my troubled youth. During one extraction, my root was very long and I could tell the doctor was struggling to get it out, but he kept composed and it finally came out. He was moving it back and forth for what seemed like at least 15 minutes. I didn't feel a thing. They are usually busy, and the hours are early in the morning, but if you don't mind that, they are great. read more

I saw Dr. Angela Marino last week. I was really impressed with the covid protocol they had in place. I felt extremely safe. And their staff was so pleasant. Dr. Marino took her time and explained every step that she did. Thank you!!! read more

I have gone to State Valley for 30 years..I use to go there. I loved Dr. Marino when he was on Valley & State Rd. When he moved to Graham Rd., I asked if I could continue to see Dr Marino exclusively but was told no I had to go to whoever was available. I found out a couple of years ago that I could've continued to see him. I had one dentist tell me I had a cavity..I didn't believe him so I didn't get it filled. The next couple of times I went for my cleaning, I had no cavities so....there's that. I went in for a bad tooth and chose to get a root canal because it was half the price of an implant. When I went in to start the root canal, Dr K said it would be beneficial to get an implant. The cost was more than double especially since they added something that "had to be done." $300 more! I wasn't told it would be 9 months to complete the process. I wasn't told anything about it. The mouth piece was so bad I kept going in because I couldn't get it in on a daily basis and couldn't talk right! They finally made me one I could take in and out plus able to talk. I finally switched dentists and glad I did. read more

I sought out medical care here due to an infected wisdom tooth! I went there as a walk in because I was in horrible pain and just wanted the tooth removed ASAP and when I went in there they told me because I missed an appointment for fillings four years ago that they could not see me ever again! This is unbelievable to me considering the fact that I have since been seen by another dentist after being told by one of their dentists that I needed fillings and my current dentist told me my teeth are in perfect health minus my infected wisdom tooth! Judging by the other comments their strict "no show policy" should be reconsidered! I will be writing about this on every social media platform possible, because an infected wisdom tooth is nothing to mess around with and the owner of this office clearly DOES NOT care about people and only cares about MONEY considering that one of his dentists said I needed fillings, which I did not need, and when I actually needed medical attention they turned me away! They need to really reconsider this policy and should be appalled by their own behavior! I will also be reporting them to the dental board since they clearly try to fill cavities that do not exist just to make extra money! Makes me sick! originally, my first visit was good. The dentist was alittle stuck up, but my shots didnt hurt and everything went smoothly. i was happy when i left. UNTIL i missed a next appointment because i got called into work, they have a strict "no show" policy, that caused them to tell me they would not finish a root canal that THEY started. Now, I have a semi-permanent filling that has worn all the way down, a MAJOR infection in my tooth and when i call them and ask them to finish it, thy still tell me NO. No other dentist will touch my tooth, because another dentist started the work and that puts a huge liability on them. My health insurance is going through hell trying to find me a endodontist that will finish an infected root canal with all the liability issues. AS A DENTIST, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THAT WORK YOU STARTED IS FINISHED AND THAT TOOTH IS HEALTHY? I have had an infection off and on for 8 months, you can literally DIE from that. Even better, I have met 2 other people who also had horror stories about state valley dental. read more

I've been going here for years and now have been looking for a new dentist. the dentist here ok and i've never had a problem with them but there front office staff is beyond some of the rudest nastiest people i've ever meant in my entire life. and because of that i've decided to look elsewhere. read more

The male Dentists here rarely introduces themselves. They don't make good eye contact. Recently I was told I needed a crown and it was never explained the procedure or why I needed it. I never asked either, but I won't make that mistake again. I did not know that it would take 2 appointments to finish. I did not know that they were grinding half my tooth away. My tooth didn't bother me before and now it does. I am being told that I probably need a root canal on the same tooth. That means I will have to endure the pain of removing the new crown for a root canal. I wish I never got the crown. I wish I would have went to a different dentist for a second opinion. I have been going to this facility for many years. My hygienists have been mostly good, one bad. The dentists barely examine you and when they do, I think they sent me down the wrong path. Get a second opinion before you do anything big. read more

This office has more than one dentist. The dentist that I saw didn't introduce himself. He completely ignored me until right before he left. He told the hygienist everything I needed done. Right before he left the room he asked if I had any questions or concerns. I mentioned my first filling that is 21 years old would give me pain when I ate anything sweet. The dentist looked at the tooth and said it was leaking and needed replaced. I left there with my xrays and went to another dentist. The reason my tooth was hurting was because I had a cavity under the old filling. My new dentist drilled out the silver filling and refilled the cavity. It feels great now. Oh and I didn't need a crown or any other work that the Dentist at state valley dental recommended. The front desk women and the hygienists are great at state valley dental. read more

First off the hygienists and my dentist are very nice and friendly. But, getting an appointment here is a pain in the ^&%! I had some fillings done and was in pain immediately afterwards and it took them 3 weeks to find an available appointment to get me back in again. They missed filling a spot on my tooth during the first filling which was causing a LOT of sensitivity. I really like the offices and staff, I just wish they had appointments available that weren't so far in the future. Especially if you want a Sat. appointment they were booked for 4 months! read more

Horrible... Took my duaghter there for 2 fillings and she was screaming in pain and bruised for 2 weeks. Took her to another dentist for her annual bc of that experience and both fillings were missing, both teeth are black and one had an abses. Now they both need to be pulled so her adult teeth aren't damaged. I will tell everyone to stay away read more

first of all , if there was a lower rating , i would of used it, maybe --10, i got dentures there a year ago, have had problems ever since, they made new bottoms for me still trouble, cant eat , don't fit right, and realigned top, yes, still trouble don't fit right etc etc etc , i been dealing with this over a year, numerous appointments, staff rude, like its my fault , oh , that's just the way they are, get used to them, not eating etc etc etc , let me tell you, i went to affordable dentures in akron on arlington st, they made me new bottoms in 1 day and adjusted the tops, and have not had any trouble since, the bottoms are perfect, never felt better, oh my GOD unbelievable, they obviously do not know what they are doing. please save yourself, time, money, pain and misery and do not!!!! go here!!! no i am not an angry customer, i am not mad, just an honest review. i was also told, the staff at state valley dental are asking people to post a positive review...why?? this is fake and false, i want honest reviews. the truth and for me, this was an all around bad bad bad experience, costing me many hrs, money and pain and suffering. i wish them the best and just hope something is done in training, schooling, something to help this place take better care of their patients.... 1 day perfect dentures.......compared to over a year of agony from this place read more

This is no B.S. I recently called state valley dental to set an apt for a cleaning and exam. They are in network provider for my insurance also very close to my business and home . When I called the receptionist was very helpful and friendly .I gave my information and set apt for early next week . I asked the receptionist how long she had been there , could she recommend a good dentist from her group. She replied everyone there is friendly and well qualified . To my surprise she knew my birth date . She then put me on hold for a moment . When she came back to the line I was informed I had set and apt back in 2007 and had rescheduled then I had forgotten to show up. She said her office manager said she did want my business . Also she said I was lucky they did not report me to collections for the $16.00 dollars I owed for not showing up . Which I offered to now . I never got a bill or a phone call for the so called no show bill .I am in the customer service business and my income depends on going above and beyond .I quess they have enough money not to need me or the 53 other employees who work 2.3 miles from them. read more
