It was so busy with many customers around, but Donna @ the deli- High Praise & Thanks for your amazing Customer Service, right at the entrance she greeted me with her kind smile, saw I was handicap, stepped out and offered me a cart- I acknowledge a yes with a nod, and before giving it to me cleaned cart w/wipes. Also, Donna helped me at deli counter and helped me with options of pasta sides, offered me samples before purchasing which I didn't know was something done. I stopped by Stater Bros. market after lunch. I found big promo sign for Red wine w 90 points if buy 4, the price is $6.99. Great deal! I love fruity flavor w merlot, cabernet sauvignon so I buy lots of wines w 90, 91, 92, 93 points at Costco but sometimes I find a good point wines here or Trader Joe's. I got 4 bottles of blending w berries, metlot, cabernet sauvignon, syrah, vanilla, and mocha....ummm, fruity, sweet flavor....lovely. And got our new discovery for organic chips called blue corn tortilla chips by Late July. Costco has plain organic multi grain chips by same manufacturer not these blue corn tortilla chips. I found the great products w promo prices. Sometimes promo 6 champagne for the great prices cheaper than the Costco. The meats are great too. My hubby find the deal for beefs and porks. I told him to buy the meats at Costco but he said, I had a great promo deal cheaper, better meats than the Costco. He doesn't think we paid for $130 membership fee a year. Well organized, clean, fresh, friendly service at the Deli for Mac n Cheese, potato salad, fried chicken. My hubby and I were happy to buy 4 Red wine bottles w 90 points, blue corn tortilla chips, and beers. Great market w great location on the Ball near Cypress college, The cashiers are always friendly. First off let me say the employees are very helpful at this store. They never seemed bothered by asking them where something was or for assistance in getting something. Love it! You could always find someone close by. The aisles are wide to fit carts through easily. Well stocked sections that have clear, bright, display signs. Decent prices and high caliber meat, fruit and vegetables. They have a deli and bakery section. read more

My rating is for the lack of customer training and not the store it's self. I was in the store checked at 12:48 check stand 1. After paying for my groceries the clerk asked if I wanted to pay for a bag I declined and said I would use the small red carry basket to carry my groceries ( 5 items) to the car. She told I could not remove the basket from the store without any explanation. So much for customer service. read more

Walked in to use the atm while my husband ordered some potato wedges. Waited in line and the cashier Tiana looked upset already, not sure why, but when I placed the divider behind my potato wedges she took it off and said to the lady behind me, "you don't need one because your stuff is so far back." Which I didn't say anything. But when I payed she asked if I had a phone number, which I proceeded to say yes then she rudely said enter it or hit the red X. So we typed it in, just overall attitude. No customer service manners at all... I feel bad for the rest of the customers she sees since she told her co worker she's there until 10pm. All I have to say, is have some common courtesy! Otherwise, find yourself another job you will enjoy. Next time I go in, I will avoid her line. read more

This is one of very few grocery stores in the area. I always find myself coming back. There is a bakery with a great selection of breads, cookies, cakes. The deli offers hot and cold items. Including fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, potatoe wedges, etc. The meat department has grill ready, seafood, steak, chicken, burgers, etc. Post pandemic and with serious inflation SB remains a winner with decent fair prices. While some items remain costly like eggs, OJ, other juices, alcohol and cereal. Other items often are on sale like produce, meat, coffee, snacks, etc. My last trip I got 5 ears of corn for $2.00 and $6.99 carne asada. Service is friendly. The employees are always helpful in produce, butcher, and in the dairy aisles. They are always striking up conversation. Often the manager is walking around. Checkers are great. I enjoy going thru Victoria's line shes great. I am a fan. Just remember to look for deals. read more

It's been some months so I'll give an update. It's still out go-to store, not only because I can walk to it, but because they have a solid selection of common products that we use, they have a good bakery and meat counter, fresh produce that's well maintained, and a service staff that is always available and helpful. The atmosphere is that of a local neighborhood market, it can be crowded at times as it's the hub of the surrounding area, but they work hard to keep things moving. :) read more

5/26/23 Stopped by with my sister & cousins to pick up bbq items, meats & hot dogs, etc. I have to admit, Stater Brothers is definitely known for a really good meat department. Meats look well dressed & prepared, fair prices. The cashier looks like he's had a hard week so he's not all smiles. It was a quick trip. I just moved to the area and was having a really hard time finding some of my usual items. I saw the manager and asked him where I could find some of the things and instead of just telling me what aisle they were in, he walked me over and showed me exactly where they were. On our way to our dad's birthday party at a restaurant, two of my sisters and I stopped at this Stater Bros. location to pick up a Kevlar helium-filled balloon. This is a medium sized store, and it's in a strip mall, sharing a large, free parking lot. Thankfully, there is always lots of available parking for customers. After we had fanned out and walked through the aisles looking for filled balloons, we struck out. Out of all the places that we could have stopped at, this was one of the rare grocery stores that didn't have any balloons already filled with helium. Towards the end of my walk through the aisles, it occurred to me that we should have been looking up at the ceiling, searching for those wayward balloons that customers grab and, somehow, get free from their grip. Looking up, I didn't see any. As my sisters, locations unknown, continued walking throughout the store, I walked to the front near the checkout lines, looking for balloons, but didn't see any. I interrupted an employees' team meeting, asking for a helium balloon, and one of the managers told me that I could check out the balloons near the live plants area close to one of the entrances and the deli. I was confused, because the only balloons I saw were single ones in the packages, so I went back to the same manager and told her that I wanted a balloon filled with helium. That's when she further explained that if I found a packaged balloon that I wanted, I could pay for it and then the balloon would be filled by an employee. Ooooohhhh! My sisters caught up to me, and I explained the process. Most of the packaged balloons were for kids or women, and they didn't have all the numbers (I was thinking that I could buy "9" and "0" balloons, but they both weren't available. By mutual grudging agreement, we decided to get a balloon that had "Happy Birthday" on it with a graphic of a piece of cake. We went through the check out, then told the young man at the register that we wanted it filled with helium. He looked confused (first timer with this experience, apparently), took the package to a leader, and then disappeared. After about 10 minutes, he returned with the balloon filled, obviously after receiving balloon-filling on-the-job training. Unless you find a balloon that you find that is an absolutely must have, don't dome here for helium filled balloons. It's much quicker and more efficient to go elsewhere where they're already filled. My observations about this store: the store is clean and organized; aisles need more signage which would greatly help customers find items quicker; aisles are narrow - two shopping carts side by side in the aisle don't allow anyone room to walk past; the deli is big and the food all look fresh and smell terrific; customer service here is so-so. read more

Friendly people, really wide and clear of display aisles, full selections, name brands, huge fruit and vegetable section... But most of all, the Butcher shop. Numerous and knowledgeable butchers, excellent cuts, quality meats. What more? They are truly customer minded. Want a special cut..,Yes they'll cut it. I like stater brothers. I really like their bottled water. They have a good alkaline bottled water with a thicker plastic. Even though we shouldn't be on plastic. I shop here because it's close to home but in the time I wait I could finish shopping at other stores. watch any customer can go there and in the evening always have to wait because they only leave two or three checkors to check at night and then sometimes I go there and so many people steal! crazy and ridiculous. Today was the second time I picked up an online grocery order from the Cypress Stater Brothers. As before, I was very happy with the selections the shopper picked for me. I have used other stores online shopping services before and was very disappointed. I always allow "substitutions" if necessary. Once a store responded there were no substitutions for a requested brand name can of tomato sauce. Really? Stater Brothers has a good selection of products, great produce and as fair as prices can be these days. I highly recommend them. read more

Dear Stater Bros. If you can not blow up a balloon on Sunday evening please put a sign up. I waited 30 minutes to get a balloon blown up because staff multiple times called for someone to come up front to help me. I waited and waited at one point an older man with white shirt said he'd help took the balloon to get it blown up, I waited. I ended up seeing this man at the other end of he store checking people out! WTH no one came to help me so I finally left. Just ridiculous!!!! No more asking or getting balloons there!
