The Bloody Mary wasn't spicy (although a table next to us was complaining it was...), and the Hugo spritz was SO refreshing! They for the fresh mint from their herbs out front! Only complaint was we prefer our espresso martinis to be mostly espresso heavy, and this one was more cream heavy. We ordered the Brussels, country breakfast (subbed cheese grits instead of pancakes because we're gluten free) and got a side of fresh fruit. It was so much food. We didn't finish it all! The grits were nicely seasoned and cheesy. Brussels were super crispy and not drenched in grease or sauce. Eggs were nice and salty, potatoes were fried nicely. Everything was great. It's so sad, I suggest Daylight shut down this franchise to protect its reputation. Once word gets out at GSU this year about how badly this has declined, this place will likely close itself down. Now my only donut choices remain Dunkin and Krispy Kreme. Whoever owns this place, thank you for destroying a downtown treasure here. I came in and ordered the loaded brownie for $5.45. The total was $6.97, and I asked and they were like: The cookies get sales tax too. Got the receipt, and the brownie was really $6.45. So the food costs more than what it says on the menu. Also, the cookies were undercooked. Like doughy. Raw. This is definitely a late night carb place for sobering up by eating carbs. This is not a cutesy desert place for cutesy date or brunch. Nope. They have vegan cookies, which I would recommend, in case the non vegan has raw egg. Also has gluten free option, but super duper limited for that. Lots of vegan cookie options.

When I asked her how that was possible when I order yesterday she said that they sold out for today... right. That's why I ordered the day before, to make sure we would have the cookies we wanted at pickup. That's like reserving a car, paying for it up front and the location running out of cars. Anyways, after some back and forth she finally asks about a backup flavor and then proceeded to tell me it would be another 20 min wait. I needed to get groceries at the Publix next door, so I said I was leaving and would be back after grocery shopping. She says ok and ways away, back towards the racks of cookies. I came back and it was an entirely different crew. This new girl was extremely rude and insisted I already picked up my cookies. Clearly not as I'm standing there holding my baby with my family standing out front and a shopping cart full of groceries. She finally went and got someone else who then went through the computer/tablet and over my order. She put together my original order (no claims of being sold out this time), she apologized for the other girl's behavior and even gave us a free cookie for our trouble. She was awesome. But 2/3 were not even decent. This experience was enough for me to cut Crumbl as one of my "cheats". Would have been 2 stars if not for the last girl.
