Keeping with a healthy lifestyle it was time for an extra boost for the family. The twins do not get enough vitamins and minerals from the food they eat. They are teenager and their diet is horrible usually, although fruits and veggies are a daily eat. It's not enough. The psychiatrist that they saw suggested that adding a few supplements might help their moods and make more healthy children. This is not my first trip to this particular health store, since this is where I would buy my husbands "man" supplies. When I walked in the store clerk greeted me asking how my day was. I returned the pleasantries with a nod. After that dance was out of the way I explained to the associate what I was looking for and she directed me to the proper aisle and place along the shelf where the products were displayed. She was very positive and wanted I believe to help the family with what needs I presented her with. She was very genuine too, no fakery. After looking over some of the supplements that I was looking for most are pills, but trying to avoid pills I found a mix that I can stir into coffee or tea in the morning for the children. The brand that I did find was Garden of Life, so at least I am familiar with their other products. This powder is grape flavor and it's for anxiety. This I am hoping will do the trick. Found a few other odds and ends for me too. During the check out process this went smooth and the cashier gave me a few samples of other little things to try. Us ladies love our samples, no matter what they are! The swipe of a card and a few impulse items and I was done. At their front counter they sell these amazing honey sticks. I came to this store for the first time yesterday and was so happy to find a natural supply shop. The elder gentleman that was there was super helpful and very open to help. Since my condition is so bad, he suggested that I come back the next day and speak with their nutritionist Marge. I came back today and wish I didn't come back. She was not open to help and offered horrible customer service. She pretty much handed me a bottle of herbal meds, got the herbs i asked for , suggested more items to buy and went on her way. She asked no questions about my condition, no explanation on how it would help. Another guy walked in the store who she recognized and she immediately began conversation with him and was laughing and chatting. She asked the customer behind me could she help him also. I would not have wasted my time and drove across town if this was the experience i was going to get. I thought she would at least try to better understand my condition and not sum it up to breathing issues and "here are some pill". I read the other reviews and see that I am not the only one who had a bad experience, I would not recommend this store at all. The 1 star is for the elder gentleman that helped me. I'm here a few times a week and I'm super spoiled this place is soooo close to my house! Everything from bulk loose organic dry spices to random stock like the grape seed oil Vegenaise that I use! I like how I can just run here instead of driving to WF's when I need something. Prices seem to be right on target. Sometimes things are less than a dollar more...but for being 1 minute from my house I'll take the convenience! I use essential oils everyday for all kinds of things and I can always count on her having the NOW brand oil that I'm looking for. I mix my own medieval oil blend so I use a lot of oils. And it just so happens NOW is my fav brand! They also carry 35% food grade peroxide in the fridge section. They have about a liter size and I believe a gallon size. I use it for cleaning and there are about a million other ways to use it also. As far as powders they have just about every kind and they have my fav which is PlantFusion but they have Vega and Raw and tons and tons of others!!!!! They also carry my daily vitamin which is Kind brand. I love this place and feel SUPER to have it in my neighborhood! Oh and don't forget your Coconut Bliss frozen treat on the way out the door! The first time I walked in this store, I was excited! I found organic powder on the left side of the store with several herbs, including Olive Leaf. The lady I was talking to was very kind and friendly. I wanted to try muellin for my boyfriend's congestion. He did not want to use it so I went in today to see if I can exchange it for the olive leaf powder. Background story: I replaced my Losartan (HBP medication) for Olive leaf. I've been using it for four years and finally was told by my doctor I don't have high blood pressure anymore. Which I am relieved and happy to say. Btw, I'm only 24 & I was really young when I found out I had HBP. So I've continued using olive leaf and living a healthier lifestyle. However, Today, I walked inside STAY HEALTHY just to be insulted by another co-worker. I told her I was mainly looking for olive leaf and the first question she asked me is "what virus do you have?". I looked at her with confusion and told her I don't have a virus...she then says olive leaf is known as a anti-viral herb & most of her customers come in the store to buy olive leaf to target a virus that hids behind the spinal cord (Basically, she was asking me if I had herpes, smh). I ignored that comment like a big girl & then I asked her about oregano oil...it went down hill from there. There are oregano oils that are so powerful & strong you have to diluted in a second essential oil like Coconut Oil in order to use it without a burning sensation. I've personally experienced that and she challenged me like I was oblivious and imbecilic about herbs and their powers. Then she went on saying I have a degree, I graduated studying herbs, I'm a real herbalist unlike these internet heabalist. There's doctors with degrees who can't even find the cure for cancer or other incurable diseases like many natural herbalist have, including Dr. Sebi. Just saying. So, her degree didn't mean anything to me especially with that attitude, which I had little to no patience for. I, personally, have a degree and I would be ignorant to believe there was not someone in this world who is more educated than me. I've never met a rude, ego-centric, and negative "Herbalist" in my life and I have met many with beautiful souls, she's not included. I'm not afraid to ask when I need assistance and when it comes to supplements, I def need assistance. When I stare out into an aisle of supplements, I immediately get into a confused state not unlike the lunch scene in Being John Malkovich (Malkovich Malkovich? Malkovich). Luckily, the friendly staff at Stay Healthy are there to help. Let 'em know your ailments, allergies, etc. and they'll point you in the right direction. The place isn't large, so I can't say how well the bases are covered, but they are covered nonetheless. Again, for a rookie, this place is excellent. No pressure, no crowd, solid selection, the ability to ask Q's and reasonable prices. Can't ask for more than that. read more

They carry my Food Grade 35% Hydrogen Peroxide. YEAH! Because its a controversial product..YOU MUST DILUTE IT DOWN 11 to 1 none of the big stores will carry it. It isn't really that hard and they give you instructions but people are dumb I guess. I Bathe in it. I gargle with it. And I put a few drops of DILUTED h2o2 in my ears today when I thought I was getting a cold. Worked like a charm So glad to have a little healthfood store that gets it. read more

This place is truly a gem! I am very rigid when it comes to sticking to holistic remedies for my son and myself. Stay Healthy has everything I have ever needed- loose herbs, oils, tinctures... Everything! The staff is always wonderful, giving me excellent advice and suggestions. They always ask how my baby is doing. It's nice and rare that a place remembers repeat customers. T came down with whooping cough. I got it out of him in 3 days with their help. Don't be afraid to ask here! Knowledge is power and these ladies sure do know what they are talking about. More like 2.5 stars for this establishment. So there's Whole Foods Market, and then there are the small businesses that cater to the vegetarian/vegan/raw food community selling natural and organic foods, supplements etc. I try to support them because they have access to speciality items that a large chain may not carry. I found them on happycow.net and thought well I need to check them out to see what's available and I need to purchase some hemp protein powder. I pull up in front of a store that's not very big. As soon as I enter, I see aisles and aisles of supplements, pills, some personal care items and that's about it. Where's all the "raw food" that was supposedly advertised? I found some bulk raw nuts and seeds, raisins, prunes and medjool dates. I found some raw chocolate and then some food/snack bars, only rawvolution with 2 different flavours. In the front, there are 2 freezer cases, a few frozen vegetarian meat items, some ice cream, sorbet and that's it??? What a disappointment. There were some cold drinks in the fridge case all the way in the back, some flax and hemp oils, probiotics. Although there's a large selection of supplements, more doesn't necessarily mean better. I've spent so much time researching supplements that at the end of the day, most of what they carried are pretty standard and not worth their weight or price. Oh, and the prices are high. Hemp protein from Nutiva was $16.99, WOW. I could purchase that for at least $4 less at Whole Foods. Also, when you have too many products, you confuse the customer. Either way, I felt misled, I must have looked around for at least a good 10-15 minutes, and was just disappointed. I walked out without a single purchase. And the brand supplements that I like, they didn't carry. Too bad. But one good thing is they carry CellFood. Good stuff. Customer service wasn't particularly good. First time visit. Was worth the 30 minute drive. Very tight isles, but I like the sectional organization (by brands and by condition). If you're big into Feng Shui, don't come here; the flow is crazy; as soon as you walk in you feel herded in and the cash registers are sort of cut off from the shopping area. There were two ladies working during our visit and they were very polite and attentive -- they've been doing this a while and they can read their customers. I love the brand selection! Lots of popular brands, but the good ones that work. I found some literature in the back near their coolers that was super old, kinda funny, I wonder if they forgot they even have that area. The whole place looks like it hasn't changed since grand opening. Anyway it was cool and we felt very welcome and comfortable.
