I sent 4 ladies to the spa for a relaxing start to a girls' weekend. I am very glad I chose this business! They catered each massage to the preferences of the customer, and provided some exceptional facials. They worked around the schedules of all 4 of them and were able to get them all in and out in roughly the same amount of time. They were very polite (and patient) we me as I booked everything, and described all of the services so I could make an informed decision. I just came here for a couples massage with my boyfriend. Before the massage, I appreciated that I was asked to fill out a form indicating my pressure preference and focus areas. I clearly noted that I prefer very firm pressure and wanted most of the attention on my back. Unfortunately, the massage itself didn't reflect that information. The therapist seemed inexperienced, and much of the session felt more like lotion being rubbed on rather than an intentional, therapeutic massage. It really didn't work out any knots at all and overall felt extremely light in pressure. Even after I asked mid-massage for firmer pressure, it still felt more like surface-level pushing instead of actually working through muscle tension. Overall, it came across as quite amateur, which was disappointing. The price was $95 per person for a 45-minute massage, plus tip, which is comparable to high-quality, experienced massages where I'm from (Fort Lauderdale), so my expectations were higher. My boyfriend had a similar experience and felt the same way about the lack of pressure and technique. The spa itself is nice and has a relaxing atmosphere, but it was frustrating to fill out a detailed intake form when it didn't seem to be followed. One other small detail that stood out was that when I was turned onto my stomach, nothing was placed over my eyes, which felt unprofessional compared to standard massage practices I'm used to. read more

Just moved from Los Angeles and was looking for a spa that provides manicure and pedicure services. Love the service that Stay The Spa is providing and the nail technician is wonderful! It now part of my self-care biweekly salon for my nails. My only grumble would be that you're paying for half the service upfront for services that you have not received yet. I understand about putting a card on file in case of no show, but don't agree on the current policy of paying half out upfront. I came to Stay the Spa specifically for my first ever spray tan! Carrie was so sweet, immediately made me feel comfortable and eased my nerves. We chatted about shades and how dark I wanted to be, she showed me examples of shades on past clients and I was still indecisive at that point so Carrie just customized it for me. I was seeking a spray tan for an upcoming bikini completion, so I needed to not have any tan lines (I.e. needed to be sprayed fully unclothed) which is naturally a more intimidating experience. Not here though, Carrie put me at ease and was 100% professional through the whole tan. After I had been fully sprayed she asked me to look in the mirror and let her know if there were any areas that I'd like to have a second coat added, which she happily took care of. Once finished, Carrie went over all of the after care and answered all my questions. Very happy with my custom airbrush spray tan! I was tan for almost a solid two weeks which I was happy with, and it looked great for my competition! Would definitely recommend Carrie at Stay the Spa. read more
