I have been to a few gyms in the area (from Stafford to Fairfax) looking for the right place, with…read morethe right trainer, a meal plan that will educate myself about nutrition and help me stay on track; a flexible schedule that can accommodate on the daily to my limited free time (mom of 4 athletes) and most importantly the RIGHT WORKOUTS that I need to accomplish my specific goals, and I must say that I've never felt more satisfied across the board. Edwin, our trainer, does a phenomenal job, knows his stuff, gentle enough to teach you the proper form, but as strong as it gets when pushing you to work your hardest...the best trainer I've had thus far (I'm 40 years old, worked out most of my life). I'm super motivated and excited to see where this journey takes me! This fitness studio "little hidden treasure" is located on Rt. 28 in Manassas very close to Centreville, Fairfax, Woodbridge and only a few miles from 66. I would say... I'm pretty sure once you join you won't want to quit... if you love feeling great and looking good, of course! Oh did I mention that he also offers those famous "6 week challenges"? Best prices, and worth every penny. Highly recommended! Give it a try!!

Both Edwin and Chad are very professional and foster a fun, personable, judgement free environment. I've been working out with Chad, several times a week, for just over a month. He did an initial assessment, assisted me with setting goals and he continues to tailor my workouts to assist me with achieving my goals. For the first time ever, I'm excited about working out!

To preface, I don't have an issue with the fact that they raised the price, but with the way it was handled. I originally signed a 2 year contract many years ago for $30/ month, which after the two year period ended became month to month. Well, late this past Spring I noticed that they had charged me $50 instead of $30. I called them thinking that it was some sort of mistake, and they told me no, they raised the prices and that they had "either sent out an email *or* a notice in the mail (couldn't tell me which one), and "with so many members they couldn't call every single one to notify them". I told them I hadn't received notification, and the guy kind of laughed and said "yeah I throw away my mail away sometimes too" or something to that effect. Then they told me if I wanted to continue, I would have to either pay the $50 monthly, OR sign another two year contract to continue at my original $30. ???? What? Then what was the point of all this? Afterwards to give them the benefit of the doubt I searched my email. What pissed me off is that I had SEVERAL emails from the personal trainer working there asking if I wanted to schedule a session with her, and several voicemails from her as well. Nothing about a price change. So overall it gave the impression that they could "take the time" to call if it was to promote a paid service they offer, but not to let me know they raised my price by 66%. I also searched my mail and didn't find anything. It's possible they sent something and it just got lost, I don't know. I was polite throughout the ordeal and I gave them a lot of chances to make it right and no one did at any point. So I had to suck it up and pay the $50 and was also forced to pay another $50 for the next month since they have a one month notice resignation policy. Personally I think this is a shady way to run a business. It's 2026, the least they could have done is send out a couple of emails. But I do know that if the personal trainer could take the time to call me (no shade to her obviously), management could have done so too. They just didn't care enough to. For what it's worth I otherwise never had a problem at this gym and was happy with it for what it was, despite the lack of amenities. I switched to OneLife fitness in Manassas for $45/ month which has real facilities (sauna, pool), more types of and newer machines, and unlimited group classes. For the price I feel that OneLife offers a lot of value and I'm very happy with it. Of course there are people who need the "anytime" part of anytime fitness which at this point is the only reason I would recommend this Anytime Fitness location to someone.

My experience here has been pretty positive from my visit. The Gym/Equipment: The gym itself is decently sized. It's not a huge space like commercial gyms, but smaller with just enough machines/equipment for everybody to use. Being that it is a strength gym, there are plenty of powerlifting equipment to use. Plenty of barbells, deadlifts platforms, comp. bench's and squat racks. And, they have plenty of accessory machines as well. Overall, this gym has plenty of equipment to go around and nice quality selections to choose from. The gym was well kept and clean as well. The Environment/Staff: Upon entering the gym, I was greeted by the staff and they were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They gave me the tour of the space and I can tell from how everyone was interacting with each other, it was a tight-knit community. Seemed like almost everyone knew each other and it mad the whole environment feel very welcoming. The overall atmosphere was very cool, from the people to the great music selection. It was a fun experience. Overall, a 5/5. Highly recommend checking Unleash'd out! You won't be disappointed. I know I'll be back when I'm in the area again.

I completed the 7 day free trial period with my friend and that's the basis for this review. Pros: -Great for people who enjoy working out in groups -Efficient 45 min workout -You sign up for classes via their dedicated app, then it can be added to the calendar in your phone -The raised padded floor is great for those of us with knee problems, it makes for a soft landing - they have child care -you can complete workouts from home video chat -they have women's only classes -unisex bathrooms with baby changing tables -they offer one-on-one support with nutrition (not sure how often) Cons: -Not so great for people who need more instruction because the class moves quickly -About 5-7 mins of the 45 mins is dedicated to warm-up and instructions, which makes for a short workout for some - The app doesn't tell you what the focus of the workout is going to be, so if you work out on your own you risk working on the same muscle group you already focused on by yourself -only class based workouts, no cardio machines, no time to stretch or do anything on your own -not open on Sundays -No locker room/showers Overall: This would make for a great secondary gym for someone who can't focus/doesn't have the motivation to complete HIIT workouts on their own (seeing as how there are plenty of free options online). It's a no frills, no thrills type of gym, get in, do your workout, and leave. They don't even have towels you can use. It's all about community here, so if that's what you're looking for, then this would be good for you. You must wear a face mask everywhere except while on the padded floor.
