Decatur Steak n shake poor quality of food! I ordered a Swiss Onion burger the bottom bun was grease soaked that I had to ask for a replacement bun, then I find out after my first bite that the onion were not cooked enough to be soft and part of the root base was served on my onions OH AND to top it all off A SIDE OF COLESLAW Is TWO, COUNT um' 2 LARGE SPOON FULL. Absolutely horrible!!!!! If you're trying to use the rewards points that they give you when you use the steak n shake app to order and purchase your order I'd suggest going to Forsyth or Mt Zion. Actually, I'd recommend either one of them even if you're not using rewards points. First they took $5 from my rewards account and I never used it. I could see this in my rewards history and, after 2 different complaints, they gave me my $5 back. Then one day, when there was a heat advisory, I had a personal emergency and had no choice but to be out driving and remembered I had my $5 in rewards and I stopped at steakn shake on Pershing Rd so I could order the drink I desperately needed. A line began to form behind me while I waited for my order. One large coke. The cashier attempted to scan the qr code in my phone for my rewards but was taking problems. He got another employee to come help him but they couldn't get it to work either. When who I'm assuming in the manager came to the cash register she told me that I couldn't use my rewards because the large coke I had ordered cost less than $5.00. When I got home, insanely hot and thirsty, I looked on the app and found that it said that the rewards balance left after I paid for my order would remain in my account. To add insult to injury, I attempted to order 2 large drinks from the same store and was having issues getting the order to go through on the app. The total would now be more than $5 and I was going to pay the remaining balance with my debit card. It wouldn't go through, told me I had to wait 3 hours and try to order again. When I did as instructed my balance was gone. I had not ordered nor had I even left my house and they took my rewards balance. So far I have sent in my complaint twice and they have not given back the rewards they stole from me. They haven't even responded to my complaint. The manager has no clue what she's doing and her customer service is horrible, her employees are not properly trained thanks to her not knowing how to do her job or how to handle issues and I would not recommend this restaurant to ANYONE. Always dirty, rude employees let u sit for 15min or so before you actually get service. You get re-cooked fries. Milkshakes that are half melted before u get them. And to top things off last time I checked Steak 'n Shake is a 24 hour place to eat so why in the holy hell when I come up here after working 12 hour shifts the damn doors are locked? I think sns needs to revamp their image or just close their damn doors forever! Already won't go to the Forsyth location due to other reasons about to not come here anymore. This was the worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. I order a chili cheese foot long but then they give me chili fries after that. I told them I did not order this food I ordered a chili cheese foot long. They come back with a poorly made chili cheese foot long. Half of it doesn't even have chili on it. So I cut it in half then all of it comes pouring out of the hot dog. As they come back to my table they ask if everything's okay. I say no this is terrible, it's the sloppiest thing I've ever seen here. They come back and refund me everything I paid that night. So all I have to say is that never go there. read more

Well service sucks, after waiting at the drive thru window for 10 minutes, it shouldn't be that hard to look at the receipt in your had and know you forgot to give me my chocolate shake and my wife's Diet Coke it's not to hard when we only ordered a burger and fries that left an after taste in my mouth for 30 minutes I suggest that changing the oil in there deep fryer should be done more often, most people's complaints at diners or fast food joint is they want hot fries and still the morons in this industry hire incompetent people who know first hand because they eat at the same places you do to read more
