I removed my nail polish today because it was chipping after just a few days (I don't think she applied a top coat), and now my nails look deformed because she Dremeled them! Wouldn't ever go back. In addition to mani/pedis, they offer massage. On the plus side, it's one of the most reasonable massages in town - $60 for 60 minutes. And, any massage after 3 days of skiing is definitely better than no massage. On negative side, walls are very thin, so heard people talking, very angry baby crying, and instead of the typical "spa" scents, there was definitely a strong nail polish scent. The massage was on a table, not on a mat on the floor like one reviewer mentioned. But not a super comfy table, snd just 2 towels, rather than sheets and/or blanket. Also, they started face down, and never turned to face up, so missed out on my sore thighs getting massaged. But, it was still good overall, and feel better than when I walked in! read more

Should have known better than to go with the two star rated nail salon, but it was the weekend and I really needed a fill. I called ahead to make sure that they did dip fills, because I recently switched to dip from acrylics. They assured me that they did and made my appointment. I showed up on time, walked into a very small entry area with one tiny bench to wait on. I told them I had an appointment and they didn't even respond so I took a seat and waited. One of their employees came up and said something to me, but I wasn't sure what she said so I just showed her my nails and said "dip fill." She shook her head no and told me "new set." So I look at the guy who is basically greeting people and then ignoring them, and ask why they would make an appointment for someone who asked for a specific service if they didn't provide it. Tried to convince me that there was no such thing as a dip fill, and that they would have to do a whole new set of nails which is more expensive. Yeah, no. That's ridiculous. So I walked out and took my $60 to Greenleaf dispensary and had a much better time than I probably would have sitting there for the next 2 hours. read more

I loved Hahn's pedicure service on Aug 4th as I described in an earlier review. I requested for Hahn for a pedicure appointment on Aug 25, when I called on Monday. Upon arrival at my 1 pm appointment, I noticed that everyone was busy, and Hahn asked me to sit at one of the pedicure chairs. I waited for about 5-10 minutes until one of the other nail technicians placed a new plastic cover in the foot bath and filled it with water. After another 5-10 min later, an older female nail technician came to begin my pedicure. No word from Hahn on what's going on. No apologies for making me wait. Nothing about not being able to give me a pedicure. I would've understood...really! As I said in my previous review, Hahn's pedicure service was the best. The older female nail technician hardly spoke any English so I did not bother to say anything to her. Her version of a massage was basically rubbing lotion on my calves and feet...no massage whatsoever (that I felt anyway). When It was time to paint my toenails, another nail technician came and did it for the older woman. Still...no word from Hahn. The older nail technician did her job adequately. My toe nails are very clean, but her massage is nothing to write home about. She was also polite and respectful, but she did not speak any English. When she rinsed off my calf, water was a bit hot and I told her but there was no reaction (I don't think she understood me.) This is a problem. Now I understand the other customer's bad reviews. At Steamboat Nails, service is inconsistent. Acknowledging a customer and letting her know you are unable to provide the service requested and someone else has to do it, is just a part of customer service, which they did not have. The two stars are for the older female nail technician. It is not her fault that customers are treated with disrespect. Steamboat Nails lost my business. Schedule an entire afternoon off if you plan to get anything done here. And don't bother with a reservation because it's meaningless. Staff is rude and doesn't even acknowledge your existence. I came for a pedicure and had three different people work on my pedicure. One person actually got up and left for the day in the middle of it. The last lady who was apparently in charge of the painting portion of the pedicure just walked away after doing one coat and started doing another customer's nails. After 35 minutes of sitting in their broken massage chair, I finally flagged someone down. Apparently the nail painting lady was done but didn't bother to a) tell me, b) do a second coat, or c) do a top coat. Despite the fact it was obvious she never finished, she claimed she had done all the coats. Um, I literally watched you! Plus, she didn't bother to help put on my flops, didn't take me to the drying station, and didn't even ask for payment. But she did manage to cut two of my toes and make me bleed. I've been dousing me cuts in alcohol in hopes I don't get some sort of infection! Find a different nail place! You'll be happy you did. read more

Came here with 3 others for pedicures . To say i was disappointed is an understatement ! I was left soaking for 20 minutes, since they were clearly short staffed . After application of polish and what I thought was top coat , I sat for another half hour , only to find my toenails still wet . I asked for quick dry and was pointed to a can of spray ... 10 more minutes, still wet so I Asked to remove polish , as we needed to Leave and I was putting on boots. I even asked to purchase the remainder of the bottle of polish so i could fix it myself .. the answer NO. I am treated rudely, I have an appt and I still wait 30 minutes before they start my feet and they don't inform me. When I ask, they brush me off and ignore me, they reprimand me and act as if I am bothering them to ask them to do things like trim a little more. And today I was over charged $10. I was treated very rudely by the nail tech who was applying my acrylic nails. First, she was very rough, when prying my old acrylics off. she kept slapping my fingers away when they weren't positioned to her liking. I asked her to be careful with my thumb joints, as I have arthritis in both thumbs. She grabbed them and yanked on them as of she didn't care. The place is filthy!!! There was dust all over the table where I had my hands, and the towel was filthy also. She used a drill bit that was covered in dust, and I am sure had been used many times on different people. The nail file was also filthy and covered in dust. I'm sure these items are supposed to be cleaned between customers, if not a new tool being used for each customer...sounds like an infection waiting to happen!!! I get ombré acrylic nails which in a small town area it's hard to find someone who does it let alone a good job. They do a great job but sometimes expect to wait. Every time I'm in there I always hear them say 10mins to someone and I've been there waiting an hour. But I think only the owner does ombré so I have to wait for her. Pedicures are great for walk ins. And my nails always last weeks with out breaking I think it lasted a bit over a month. So just expect to wait don't call and ask how long won't matter.. my tip is go in and either wait it out or get lucky and no ones there. For people who are impatient or in a hurry I would just be aware they quote times that aren't realistic. Just go in the store and take a look... my best advice. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place at all! Worst SNS, I have ever paid for, not even 1 week and all my nails are cracking and peeling! My friend asked for this cool polish called tigers eye, where they are supposed to use a magnet to create an effect, she picked the green that had a gold effect to it. I've been here just twice but both times I've gotten in pretty quickly and they've always done a nice job! Just like any nail salon if they're busy you'll have to wait. I've also noticed that several people that work here do not speak English (so far 2 that I've seen do). But they have been friendly and try to help. My first visit I got a full set with the cats eye finish - it wasn't exactly like the display but I got several compliments on them. ZERO STARS: I came here to get a pedicure and full set. While my nails and feet came out really nice I was extremely disappointed! The reason being, the products that they use are EXTREMELY CHEAP! I had regular polish for both my hands and feet like I always do when getting my nails done and NEVER in my life have I experienced this! And I've been getting my nails done since middle school and I was getting mani-pedis in elementary school...... When I came to the salon I had REGULAR polish on my toes that had been on my feet for OVER A MONTH and looked PERFECTLY FINE! So I don't know where they're getting their products from, but they SUCK BALLS!..... Also TWO of my nails FELL OFF( the long end of it) just out of the blue! I wasn't even doing anything with my hands and they were only on for LESS THAN 2 weeks! There's NOOOO WAY anyone's nails should be falling off that soon and you weren't even doing anything to cause it!...... And the woman who did my nails didn't even seem interested in her job. I could tell she didn't really want to be there. Which made me feel uncomfortable. She also didn't speak to me while doing my nails. She just listened to music with her ear plugs. And after letting my nail's dry I asked her about doing my eyebrows and she seems to be bothered by that as well. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!......(Also while getting my nails done a young girl came in because her nail was starting to lift on her gel mani that she had just came in THE OTHER DAY and got! The lady who did my nails fixed it, but you can tell she wasn't happy about it.....So that would have been an alternative for me giving them another try since I don't wear fake nails very often, but after seeing that. There's no way I'd give it a try.)........What's most disappointing about this is that this is the only place that I could find in town that had good reviews, but maybe I'll give another shop a try since I had such a horrible experience here. My last mani-pedi is from July 23. Nothing special about the shop, it was very busy and I was worried about the time my daughters and I might wait or the length of time the mani-pedi might take but they were very a tentative! The technicians were kind and sweet and even offered little perks or recommendations, like a slightly glittery top coat on my French-American, because "I think you'll love it", and I did! My daughters got free flower designs in their toes that tied in the colors from this fingers. The nail artist just said "can I put flowers in your toes?" At first I was hesitant because nail designs can skyrocket the cost of a mani-pedi. Nope. For free :) My nails and toes were perfect. I have never received better nails from anywhere, ever. Today I went to get my nails done at a place in Highlands Ranch. My nails were still in perfect condition! No chips, no cracks (after 6 weeks), just regrowth so unfortunately time to take this color off and get them redone. The new salon did such an awful job I literally left in tears. I'll forever be holding every nail salon up to the service and quality I received at Steamboat Nails. If it wasn't a 3 hour drive, I'd go there every time! read more

ya wow.. literally the worst experience. this shop is posted on google and yelp and store front as open till 8:30, and when we arrived all the stools were up on the chairs and nobody was in the shop. we called out and a confused lady came out from the back and just stared at us. after almost 45 seconds of staring, we asked again "are you open?" and she just continued staring. we asked AGAIN "are you open?!" and she mumbled something in Chinese. we said "we want 2 pedi 1 mani are you open??" and she said "PEDI SIT NOW" and started pulling the stools off the chairs for us to sit. we sat and another group of 3 ladies came in and also asked for pedis, so she started throwing down more stools. my friend who wanted the mani was completely ignored at this point so she just said never mind and sat at an empty chair. we then had our soaking tubs filled and has our feet shoved in scalding hot tubs of water, we took them out and told them we got burned, the lady groaned and started adding cold water, till it was freezing cold and then shoving our feet in the freezing water. we said woah it's freezing and got no response or help so we gave up at this point. then another employee who we assume was called because they were grossly understaffed during open hours, came and the two of them went to work on our feet, using a cheese grater tool on our feet for less than 1 minute, then rubbing some lotion on and then started picking at our nails with clearly reused, unsanitary tools. at this point the poor women who came in just minutes after us who were sitting in tubs of now cold water got up and just left, which was embarrassing in it self. she then announced my boyfriend feet were done, he got no filing, trimming, oil, cuticle care or top coat of any kind. I was pissed at that and just wanted this to be over at this point. I then told them I wanted gel polish, so I had to get up and pick a color. I went over, picked a color, and presented it to the man. he asked the other woman working if they had it and she said no angrily. he said we don't have it because they just ordered them they are new colors, which is ridiculous, because if you don't have it yet why put the colors sheets out?! I said fine and picked a different one. he grabbed it out of the back and quickly slapped it on my toes, again with no trimming, filling, cuticle work or oils. he dried it under the light and that was that. I stood up and asked what the price was and he said it was a whopping 65 dollars?! 65$ for a crappy foot scrub that just sliced my calluses open, a nail picking with dirty tools and a nail polish layer?! I agreed just wanting to get out of there and venmoed them the amount with no tip. pictures attached show how bad my feet look, and my venmo receipt as proof of being there. DO. NOT. GO. Don't bother, you make a reservation and then wait for 45 minutes past your appointment , then they are grumpy because you ask how much longer the wait will be. If they can't make appointments and keep them then all they need to do is say that. That it is first come first serve is fine but not if you say you take appointments!!Spend the extra money and go to a real salon that keeps their appointments. I would not recommend this place. The did a terrible job. They rushed on my pedicure even though my husband & I were their first clients. Then they also rushed my manicure & left red nail polish all over my skin around my nails. They said your done bye. When I asked them to please clean the nail polish around my fingers she did but said it was not needed then she rushed through that too. Overall it was just Terrible! This establishment should be closed down. The employees are unfriendly and condescending. The salon itself is filthy. I would be concerned about my personal health even walking in there.
