We were in the area for a few days and saw the great reviews on yelp. Being a coffee lover I had to try this little steamboat shaped coffee joint. The location was a little tricky since the intersection is busy and it can be hard to get in or out depending on what side you come from. Also, the train blocks the intersection as well so the wait to get in can be a bit. The store itself is quaint and clean with outdoor seating and ordering in both directions. The barista was kind and took our orders efficiently. The drinks came out within 6 minutes so were relatively fast. We ordered a caramel macchiato and a whole milk cappuccino. Both were so delicious, the espresso shots were made perfectly and flavoring was on point! We were so impressed we would drive all the way up north for another go in the future. Overall, great little steamboat coffee shop! Would definitely recommend as it lives up to they hype. read more

I was doing my delivery shift when I saw this cool looking coffee stand. impulsively, i decided to order their all day breakfast sandwich and a drink. I got: breakfast sandwich with sausage breakfast sandwich with bacon green apple salted Carmel lotus energy dirty vanilla chai iced first of all, the breakfast sandwiches were so filling! the egg is GINORMOUS. reminds me of the time i had McDonalds put 2 eggs on my McMuffin.. BUT BETTER! the sandwiches were steaming hot and scrambled so i had time to eat between deliveries and not worry about it being cold :) the drinks. dont get me started!! the lotus tastes just like a carmel apple and they were light on my ice without me needing to ask the chai was also super good reminds me so much of October for some reason. you all will hear from me again but next time ill post photos of this cute coffee stand I wish I took pictures so badly but i'll be returning so ill likely write another review with photos. read more

Very friendly staff. A good selection of all kinds of coffee and pastries, plus some light breakfast and lunch items. Love the style of the building, it looks just like a cartoon boat. Service was prompt. Biscuits for the doggos. Coffee was not strong, more of a medium blend. read more

Great little espresso stand (in the shape of a boat!) very close to the I-5 exit/entrance for Peace Portal Drive. The staff was friendly, our drinks tasted great, and the drive up window was fast. This is a good little find! read more

My family has been going here for years! Even though my Mom lives in AZ half the year, she is ALWAYS searching for the perfect real ice cream espresso shake that only Steamboat provides! She has searched multiple states and locations and nothing compares! She literally checks out every town she goes to to see if she can find an espresso place like this one, and she's always says nothing beats it. We LOVE this place. We know our coffee and excellent quality and this place is certainly a hidden gem! So glad they're accessible to us (and we live in Seattle where the coffee is supposed to be incomparable). All depends on the quality and the experience of the barista and the shops recipes. read more

I finished my job for the day nearby so I thought I would get some breakfast at this adorable coffee shop. This place is so stinkin cute, looks like a little ship, and I love the name steamers espresso so cute! I got an iced chai tea my go to drink and a sausage breakfast sandwhich on a bagel. The lady who took my order was the nicest and friendliest person she made me feel good. I don't like when I go to a coffee stand and the person who takes my order doesn't even act like they want to be their, but I know everyone has their bad days as well. They serve breakfast items all day, they have lunch items, baked goods, milkshakes, and all kinds of differant drinks. Stop by this adorable coffee stand if your ever in the area. read more

The ladies at steamers always have a big smile for me and they are always grateful for your business. I used to live on Runge Avenue which is right next to the shop, and thanks to the frequent freight trains in the area I would get stuck on my way to work, so a quick pop in the steamers for a coffee was a regular (daily) occurrence. Now, I live in Birch Bay... so steamers is only a stop for me when I am heading into Blaine, but if I had to pick one good coffee in the area, Steamers is the one! This cute, boat shaped coffee shop is accommodating (almond milk!), friendly, fast, and they always have a milkbone for my pups. I order two drinks when I go through, a hot latte to drink right away, and a caramel Macchiato to put in the fridge for my lunch. They've never messed up my order and hats important to me (no milk! ) and I always leave with a smile on my face. read more

Location, location, location. This tiny, boat-shaped espresso stand gets my business thanks to convenient proximity to the freeway on-ramp. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my wife thinks the reasonably priced coffee here is better than most. Thankfully, for non-coffee drinkers like me, they have a pretty good selection of cookies, muffins, shakes, and sodas. Make sure you don't get stuck behind a train, though. Incoming and outgoing traffic frequently gets blocked by other cars waiting for trains to clear the nearby train crossing. read more

After visiting this place several more times, I have been really pleased with the coffee. I'm not sure if they got a batch of coffee that tastes less burnt or what, but it's much less bitter and more smooth. This place is amazing! Cool vibe on the outside. It's a one of a kind building design! The banana milkshake was ridiculously good and we are going tomorrow to get another one. The kids hot chocolate was super fun for our kids. They do whip cream on top of the cup (literally on the top of the lid) with sprinkles on it and a Dum Dum in the straw. read more

I've had a couple of their drinks & treats, & have rave reviews. ONLY issue was the time it took to make my drink on all but one visit. Took 20+ minutes just for a basic mocha w/ whip! Worth the wait definitely....but still a bit of a wait. read more

Staff was very friendly! Espresso was yummy, and they made my one year old son a drink at the perfect temp :) it's good coffee but if I had to choose I would go with Marikano across the way, there espresso is amazing! But they don't have breakfast.. So we end up here at Steamers! read more

I love this place! The service is quick and friendly. The drinks are delicious and accurately prepared. I've never ordered food, but everybody else seems to like the breakfast sandwiches. I'm a regular customer (daily) and I prefer Steamers to Starbucks-the drinks are much better and the baristas are genuinely welcoming. read more
