S.T.E.D. is an acronym that means Starting Treatment Effectively Daily and that is exactly what we do. STED knows that everyday self work is crucial in order to heal the deep rooted issues that one may have. And, this is often done by implementing self awareness exercises, spirituality, CBT cognative behavior therapeutic methods, breath work, laughter, play therapy, reframing of thoughts and language. S.T.E.D. also conducts Circles, couples, group, family counseling and more. If you're willing to dive deep within yourself to heal which maybe keeping you stagnate, then STED is where you can begin you're healing journey.

History

Established in 2013.

I have been counseling for over twenty years, and founded S.T.E.D. on March 7, 2013. However, I have been in private practice since July 2023. Prior to creating S.T.E.D. I worked for several mental health organizations throughout Boston and neighboring towns as an employee and a contract worker. I found it necessary to create a place, S.T.E.D. where my clients can be themselves and feel free in doing so. S.T.E.D. is that place where rediscovery and reconnecting of self takes place with dedication, truth, and hard work. S.T.E.D. knows that you are your source of healing and I AM your guide.

I AM- and I make no apologies for being that. I have exeperienced life from several facets which has allowed me to have a vast perspective on how I view and live life. I have managed to rediscover and reconnect with myself which has allowed me to service others holistically. Because I have chosen to accept the lessons that life offered me, it has allowed me to trust, love, care, protect and guide me into the gift that I AM today. I have obtained a Masters in Education, a C.A.G.S. Certificate of Advance Graduate Studies in Counseling Psychology, L.M.H.C, Licensed Mental Counselor, C.L.Y.L. Certified Laugh Yoga Leader, C.O.L.B. Certified Optimum Life Breathologist and most recent a Certified DOULA. Life offered me exactly what I have chosen, and with honesty, accountability and responsibility, I have accepted it and tapped into and operate from the better parts of who I AM today.
