When they opened the location in Bethlehem in 2019 we switched. The studio is gorgeous! Clean and bright. Professionally sprung marley dance floors to prevent injury. You can tell because there is a ramp to get into the dance rooms. They have 5 dance rooms, boys and girls locker rooms, bathrooms are very clean, a kitchen area where kids can eat between classes, do homework, or just hang out, very large waiting room complete with several tvs to watch the classes going on. They are very reasonably priced and offer a huge variety of dance styles from 18months to adult. Tots in tutus and ties, fundamentals, jumps/leaps, stretch, ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, modern, musical theater, acro (certified), urban fusion and Afro fusion. The teachers are wonderful! Everyone is treated like family. It is such an inviting place to be! CDA has instilled not only a love of dance for our daughter, but also built up her confidence and gets her involved in many community events through their dance company. However, this review is in regards to using the space for private events. Our son held his wedding reception here recently, and it was perfect. Vicky, from Blockers Coffeehouse (shares the building) was beyond accommodating and excellent for helping to arrange set up. GHDH provided tables, chairs, linens and sound equipment for music (we did a Spotify playlist). As this was a small and casual event (under 50 people) it was the perfect size room. The eclectic and funky decor (think vintage burlesque and swing photos, motor oil and street signs, etc) were perfect for what our son and DIL were looking for. The extremely reasonable fee gave us the entire building, which included two bathrooms (not wheelchair accessible, but ok for a walker). The Coffeehouse stayed open for us, in case anyone wanted a hot beverage. GHDH does not provide catering; however, we made use of local places, which delivered to the building (thanks Mission BBQ of Whitehall) *highly, highly recommend Blondies, two storefronts up, for the MOST delicious cupcakes.* So, if you are having an event; know you need to provide your own beverages/catering, and bring your own music. Other than that, this is a wonderful, wonderful space to hold your party, shower, reception, fundraiser, etc, etc. I could not be more pleased with how things worked for us, or how lovely everyone involved with GHDH was to deal with.

Worlds End is another fantastic state park in Pennsylvania! There are a lot of sights to see and…read morethings to do. Unfortunately, the weather interfered with our ability to see as much as we had hoped, but we still had a great time! There is a nice visitor center with a variety of historic and nature info available, including some great info on the CCC work that took place in the park (there's a really nice interactive model of a CCC camp too) and how and where the park name is suspected to have been derived from. There is a real snake to look at, as well. A very nice playground is located nearby, and this section of the park also offers easy access to the Loysalsock Creek and the beach with a snack bar, plus multiple picnic tables and shelterhouses. It's beautiful even just to look at the valley walls and the creek itself. There are several gorgeous vistas available, some by foot and some by foot or car. We especially liked the Loyalsock Canyon Vista, which can be reached on foot or by car. It is located next to the Rock Garden, which is a very neat grouping of giant rocks and boulders that is a lot of fun to check out. The park also offers camping and plenty of trails. Worlds End is located within the Loyalsock State Forest, so there is also a lot more that one could explore in the area.

The…read moremost important reasons: 1) The hikes here are a little more challenging, a little longer, and just generally more enjoyable for me. 2) The family campground is spacious - the tent sites and modern electric sites are interspersed, but you don't feel like you're right on top of the next site over. 3) The bathroom facilities are clean and warm, no matter what time of year I've visited. Big ups to maintenance and the camp hosts. 4) The camp hosts and visitors center personnel are fantastically kind and helpful. They obviously love this park. 5) Fun stuff like the Forksville General Store, Snack stands, swimming hike, Haystacks, Rock Garden, and all kinds of other interesting places to explore! I've been here with friends, with my family, and by myself, and I've thoroughly enjoyed each trip, so I'll definitely be back for more!

We were taught an array of moves on the pole and then moved onto a full chair dance routine. The women in our party ranged in age from their early 20's to late 50's -- and everyone had a blast! I can't say enough good things about our experience. As for the regular classes, I took a class here about a year ago and really enjoyed myself. Unfortunately, I don't live in the area or else Sweat Like A Girl would be my full-time workout studio.

I attended my first class at Sweat Like A Girl about two years ago. I was still pretty new to…read moreexercise with a ton of weight to lose, and very little idea where to get started. I quickly became tired of the elliptical, tired of the treadmill, and the only thing I knew for sure was that if my workouts continued to feel like chores, I'd never stick with them. I tried the Fight Club class after checking out classes at a few other gyms, and I was instantly hooked. It was first time I realized I could have a good time working out. It took me a while to try out some of the other classes, but now, SuperGirl is my favorite. It's always something different, but consistently keeps me working hard. But the really surprising thing was, it didn't take me long to feel comfortable there. Heather, the owner of the gym who also happens to be the main instructor for many classes, is equally a motivator, an entertainer, and a hardcore fitness instructor. I start out each class feeling scared for the intensity i know is about to be inflicted upon my body, and psyched, in the same was anybody is before they are about to do something they know is going to be completely fun and rewarding. Any class with Heather usually includes a stand-up routine at no extra charge. And not surprisingly, smiling and laughing a lot while you're sweating like crazy, definitely takes the pressure off. Actually, all the instructors are pretty cool, care about your success, and will give you a great workout. I've met a lot of people at this gym, and the pervasive attitude is one of support, non-judgement, and willingness to help each other out. The whole environment is pretty cool, and rare. There's something for everybody, whether your idea of fitness involves flipping tires, interval training, running, dancing, pole, or kicking and punching. And the price is definitely right.

It was such a gorgeous, dry late Sunday morning. For parents with babies and young children in strollers (and for other "pet parents" using strollers) I have a beagle who has difficulty walking. She needs a stroller so I have brought her many times with it.... I don't have difficulty on the walking paths or in the parking lot... it's very easy for me which is so nice. It means I can bring both dogs with me alone at times (today was a super bonus because my husband walked our other pup). As far as wheelchair accessibility, I need to check it out more carefully next time. Having spent only a small amount of time in a wheelchair a few decades ago - I can relate to how difficult it can be to get around. I am pretty sure it's very easily accessible. I will check everything when I go back... The restrooms are pretty clean most of the time. It's nice that they are there!! There are many benches throughout the park. It's hard not to be "in the moment" and "mindful" while at this park. There's so much beauty. Today we saw many ducks swimming. And the sunlight against the bright blue sky...... Didn't want to leave!!

There are no picnic tables around but there are ample benches for resting and taking in the sights, and there is a public bathroom near the parking lot.
