We had ordered flowers from our local florist and it was my job to pick them up on the way to Door Co. In the chaos and emotional confusion, I forgot to pick them up on the day of the service and didn't realize this until I had reached Sturgeon Bay. It was 11:30 am and the only greenhouse in Sturgeon Bay -- Maas Floral -- closed at Noon on Saturday. These wonderful folks took care of us and made a beautiful arrangement that was even prettier than the one originally ordered, and had us out the door and on the road in time to make the 1 pm service in Fish Creek with time to spare. Secret Gardens reminiscently took me back to both my hometown flower shop in lower Michigan, and the boutiques we visited while traveling with our native friends in Germany. In both cases, quantity and expanse, took a backseat to personal service, artistic excellence, and unsurpassed quality of product. There is no doubt in my mind, that if we were locals, Stephanie would find us as regular customers.
