Intimidation? To which the "director" ,immediately & without hesitation,replied "YES"! This is 2 incidents within 1 year. Beware that they do not charge you for lost materials,that they are losing themselves.Laziness & incompetence should not be tolerated.

The staff is always extremely helpful and very pleasant. The WiFi is plenty fast and there is more than ample seating, if you want to stray from the herd. There is also a quiet reading room with a Keurig, stocked up with plenty of flavors. The front doors sounds like a multiple vehicle pileup when they're opened, but that's the paradoxical part of the quiet library experience, I guess. Still love the place!

But an hour later, I got a call and the librarian remembered a book that she thought my son would love. But I never told her who I was. She had to have gone out of the way to look up my profile based on what I checked out and then found my number and called. Talk about an amazing person. Love HG Library!!

I…read morehad my head down while sitting upright at a table, listening to a lecture with headphones on, and was told I couldn't have my head down--even though I wasn't lying down or disturbing anyone. This rule is overly strict and targets students trying to study or concentrate. Librarians should focus on maintaining the facility and supporting patrons, not nitpicking harmless behavior. A library should be a welcoming space for learning, not a place where students are harassed for quietly minding their own business.
