I met with the owner Anthony, and he gave me a very reasonable estimate that included labor and materials on the spot. I told him we would be waiting for additional estimates and he was very patient with us. Due to the tight timing constraints (we basically decided at the last minute to do a full paint job), we are booking a different painter for the current job. However, based on all the reviews I've read on Facebook and also the photos of previous work they have done, I would choose Della Rosa for my next painting job. He removed 40 year old wallpaper that I tried to do on my own for 15+ hours with little success. He then painted my kitchen to perfection. After that job, I called him to do major sheetrock repair and painting on short notice. He finished the job in one afternoon even though it was a 2-3 day job (I needed it done immediately as the house was going on the market the next morning). Once again, the job was done perfectly. Their pricing was very competitive, and the quality of work exceeded expectations. They did thorough prep work, including power washing the entire house along with scraping and sanding where needed. They also applied primer where appropriate and finished with two coats of Benjamin Moore paint, which really shows in the final result. He gave us great advice as to which paint grade to use as well as what finish looks best. There is a lot more science to painting than I had ever known. He and his team would take the time to patch and sand any imperfections in the walls so that everything looked flawless and every ceiling line was perfect. He also did some staining for us, which involved an extra step that most painters don't do and he wallpapered 3 rooms beautifully. He would always keep in touch and give updates throughout the process and would even send pictures of the work via text! We couldn't be happier and you won't find a better painter.
