I've been here a few times & have been unimpressed with the female dentist each time. She made a sarcastic questioning remark when I was explaining the concern I have with my tooth. She seems to be rushing through each visit as well, very non-personable. I recently found another dentist that's out of network but the experience with that office was night & day compared to this one so I transferred care. ***Beware*** My wife and I moved to North Carolina from Florida. Looking for a good Dentist, and things started off pretty well for the most part. Until the owner retired or something of that nature. And put other people in the office to manage it. We continued going and we were told things were covered that we're not covered!!! And got stuck with a "Large Bill." I missed an appointment in March of 2020, right after the world shut down due to a global pandemic. The office manager charged me for a missed appointment even after I called and discussed the obvious reason why I did not show up. The office manager would not make an exception. They have now, in 2024, sent me to collection. Avoid this dentist! Terrible office policies not to mention the cleaning was as gentle as a jackhammer. read more

I have extreme anxiety surrounding the dentist and this place definitely didn't help. First thing: for what reason is there a dog in the office? Regardless of whether or not it's behind the counter, it's unhygienic. Second: everyone there seemed to be incompetent. Aside from asking me if I'm okay every 10 seconds (please just finish the cleaning. I'm fine and I want to leave.), the hygienist assaulted my teeth when cleaning them, hitting my gums more often than my teeth. Third: I had the dentist peering over my mouth AND an assistant hovering over my left side holding the suction tube. As someone who is claustrophobic and severely overstimulated by the noises of the clinic, the sensations, and just generally by my anxiety; having two people with their hands in my mouth as well as hovering a foot from my face is extremely intimidating. Fourth: the entirety of my appointment, I could hear two other workers talking extremely loud from the another room. It seemed a little unprofessional the way they were talking. Could've sworn I heard them talking about other patients Fifth: TWO people cleaned my teeth. Which seems weird. The dentist left after checking out my mouth and then minutes later, some other person that hadn't been working on me started cleaning my teeth (the one who assaulted my gums) the dentist came in after 5-8 minutes and took over, leading to the two people hovering over me. Sixth: I don't need to be lectured about attending a therapist by the dentist. As well meaning as it might be, you don't know my schedule and you don't know my mental state to continue to badger me about seeing a therapist when that isn't your wheelhouse Seventh: maybe my memory is making things up as it's been a bittt between visits but these people sneak up on you. Whatever happened to announcing when you walk into the exam room rather than just sneaking up behind me!!?? Every single person did this Eighth: no one told me to not eat or drink x amour of time after being cleaned. I have ALWAYS been told to do that. This might be small but having time between visits, what if I forgot and decided to eat? Small things add up. Makes sense why another review mentioned getting a coffee after your cleaning (big nono) Ninth: this is a personal preference but having the Fail Army on the TV was driving me and my anxiety crazy. Should've spoken up but omg why is that on the screen Tenth: I recently emailed asking for my X Rays and was given a ROI form to be able to receive them. I've had really poor experiences with this practice and would not recommend them to anyone, even someone with low maintenance dental needs. Small things from really rough hygienists to cancelling appointments a week/days out to really aggressive hygienists/doctors guilting me into doing procedures I'm not comfortable with. Spent $500 on new retainers that needed to be printed 3 times and I still said that they didn't fit correctly - and dentist told me too bad, get used to the fit. My teeth have definitely shifted now and now I need to spend more money to correct that. My husband and I have now switched to Pearl and love them. We've had great experiences with them. I would not recommend Stellar to anyone. read more

I've been a patient at stellar for almost 3 years and everytime I've been there Dr. Natalie has always had the same pleasant bubbly personality and sunny disposition. I have had cleanings and flings done here and no complaints. Dr. Natalie is caring and proficient and patient and takes time to explain every little thing she does. She truly is in the perfect profession. The visits here are actually pleasant. I also have to sing praises to the hygienist. This was my first visit to Stellar Dental for a cleaning. Based on reviews I was expecting a decent experience but they exceeded expectations. Checking in was eh at first.. Kora wasn't very pleasant or helpful. That moment was short lived though. Vera saw I wasn't getting the assistance I needed and stepped in to help me out. Vera, my dental hygienist, was amazinggg! Best experience ever she was so kind and reassuring, she did a great job on my cleaning. Dr. Davis was very sweet and knowledgeable. Check out with Steph went well she was very kind too. Recently moved to the area and was overdue for your standard teeth cleaning. Located Stellar Dental online and gave them a try. The staff is so friendly! My initial appointment was scheduled for late November but they offered to call me if anything opened up at a sooner date and sure enough I received a call a few weeks prior to my initial booking. This was super convenient. The dental hygienist did an incredible job and was very thorough in the teeth cleaning process. In addition, she seemed very conscious of the discomfort that the patient typically feels and checked in multiple times throughout the cleaning process to ensure I was comfortable. She was great! Very disappointed. I'm not sure if this dentist is a scam or not. I have been three times in the past year and every time they have made me take x-rays. Back in November I had a pain in my mouth and I called to make an appointment. They said they had nothing available until December so I said that's fine I'd go elsewhere. Within ten minutes I get a call from the office manager magically with an appointment. Fast forward to Mother's Day my filling had fell out. The next day I went online to schedule an appointment and the next appointment they had available outside of business hours was three weeks away on the 25th. I selected that appointment. The next day, Tuesday, I called and said I was experiencing pain and wondered if they could get me in earlier. The woman on the phone said she saw my appointment AND would put my on a call list. Three weeks goes by, no word. I call Monday, the 24th to confirm my appointment and they say they have no appointments for me and nothing in my notes. I got upset and said I made the appointment online and confirmed it on the phone and am in pain. They said okay let's we can get you in tomorrow. I arrive this morning thinking they are going to replace the filling in my mouth. They take a bunch of x-rays AGAIN and say yes you need your filling replaced let's schedule you an appointment. They do not care if you are in pain, they do not fix their mistakes, they are just after the money from the insurance companies. Now I'm going to have to go another at least week in pain until I find a new dentist. read more

Dr. Martinez-Rogers is the cat's meow, thebomb.com, etc. Never in my life have I looked forward to going to the dentist, until now. I've visited both locations over the past few years. Both locations are clean, comfortable, and hip with their design. The staff is always so accommodating and welcoming. Dr. Martinez-Rogers lays out cost before any procedure so I know what I can make happen with my teacher salary. She is quick, efficient, and has one of the best personalities of any service care provider I've ever met. She also has a very rich educational background at the best universities. After getting several recommendations from my friends that were NOT helpful, I searched Yelp for a dentist and found Stellar Dental. The front office staff was welcoming and very friendly. We even cracked a few jokes to lighten the mood. (I've really hated going to the dentist since childhood). This location is BRAND new and very trendy. The exam chair was heated and vibrated, which helped me relax during my cleaning. The exam rooms are also equipped with televisions and Roku streaming channels. I watched a little HGTV to take the edge off. Alicia was my dental hygienist and she was awesome! She explained what she was doing/going to do during the entire process. My teeth feel super clean and I am happy to say that I look forward to being a patient here. Dr. Val followed up with some not so good news (cavities : P), but she was welcoming and provided a course of action for treatment. I would advise anyone to NEVER go near this business. I was told by staff I needed to reschedule an appointment due to health issues. 6 months later Received a bill from collections. I attempted to call the staff and spoke with the billing manager multiple times and was told she would call me back, which she never did. When asked why this charge had not been brought to my attention until six months or greater past the appointment date I was told they had just hired a new billing manager and she was going back through all the records. Even though all I stated when I was on the phone with the staff I was told it would not be charged a cancellation fee as they were telling me I needed to reschedule . Today I received another letter from collections full of inaccurate information stating I had a no call no show and other misinformation. I would advise anyone to stay away from this business. My husband has continued as a patient until this letter today and now my entire family will be finding a new practice. read more
