Terrific service and beautiful bouquet! I called requesting calla lilies to be sent along with some sort of blue flower. I live out of state and wanted to have the recipient's favorite flower and colors. The shop owner said she would hand select the lilies when she picked up her flower order in the morning. Dore at Stems was incredible at helping bring my (understanding zero of flower arrangements) wedding flowers to life. A bit last minute, I sent her a couple pictures of ideas that I liked, and my wedding colors (dark purple, no lace), and the arrangements were incredible! I ordered a bridal bouquet, 4 boutonnieres, 2 wrist corsages, 2 large floor arrangements, and 4 smaller bouquets for the bridge. Wedding flowers are never cheap, so I was okay with her final prices after some adjustments. Dore was very reasonable when the large arrangements initially were priced a little higher than we could afford, so she swapped out a few flowers for some lesser expensive ones. I was worried that I wouldn't get a final okay until they were completed, but they are true professionals who really understand their business (both service and products). I recently ordered one of Stems A Flower Shop's "Let Us Pick" arrangements for friends in Evergreen (I live out of state). It's always scary to order flowers in another state and also to leave it up to the florist. In this case, my trust was well-deserved. Dore at Stems A Flower created an absolutely gorgeous arrangement that my friends adored. My friends sent me a photo and it was exactly the arrangement I would have picked if I had seen the photo ahead of time. If I could give more than five stars I would. I wish that I could transport the shop to my town! NOTE: I ordered the "dazzling" price level and it lived up to its name. The other thing I did (in the comment section) was mention a few of their featured floral arrangements that appealed to me. I think that was a good idea because even though they were very different designs from each other, it gave Dore a sense for my personal taste, and her final design exactly fit my sensibility! Dore at stems is great at what she does! From our first meeting Dore worked with me to come up with a unique and affordable plan for my wedding flowers. I stayed right around 1000 which was my budget and the table flowers, bouquets, and boutteniers all looked great. Dore was very concerned with the quality of my peony's and did a great job finding a good balance of light pink/blush. Stems did the flowers for our wedding at Lower Lake Ranch in October of 2016. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. I was planning from out of state, and Dore and I had to make all the arrangements over the phone, and she still managed to come up with exactly what I was envisioning. She delivered them exactly on time, and even sought out each person who needed a corsage or boutonniere and pinned them on herself. As a bride, anything taken off your plate is such a treat. Beyond doing a wonderful job, she was sweet, kind and easy to work with! My grandfather died after we ordered our flowers and I asked her to put his boutonniere on my bouquet. Above and beyond! I had the greatest experience with Stems. Their customer service was impeccable! My Boyfriend and I are currently doing the long distance thing and yesterday he was home with the flu and I wanted to send him a little something to show that I was thinking of him. I googled local florists in his area and stumbled upon stems. I was pretty happy when I found that they delivered gift cards from Dakind soups which I knew to be down the street from my Boyfriends house so I decided to call and place the order. When mentioned that my boyfriend was sick she offered to pick up the soup and deliver it along with the beautiful succulents I had picked out. I used Dore's services at Stems for my wedding and there are several pros and cons I would like to share. Pros: The centerpieces and bouqet turned out how I had pictured them. She delivered and set-up in a timely fashion on the day of the wedding. She answers your questions and responds to emails in a timely, professional manner. Cons: A bit of a diva attitude when it comes to creative ideas. Pushy when it comes to her style. Slightly pricey for my simple ceremony. Bottom Line: I would recommend her if you are looking for something elaborate in terms of style - she is quite good. But she misses the mark when it comes to the simple stuff - you could use another florist and it would turn out just as nice. read more

Our experience was one of the worst I've ever had; not only with customer service, but the arrangement and professionalism of Dore, the owner, were questionable at best. My sister and I ware referred to this shop by a local friend; and my sister had numerous phone calls with the owner regarding pricing, specific flower selections and delivery. When we arrived to pick up the flowers, the 3 arrangements were less than spectacular and the 2 smaller vases were DOUBLE the price we discussed. We even provided our own vases, and prices were not reflective of the quality one would expect at such a cost. The taste level was not there. We even had to add flowers in the shop because the arrangements were thin. Dore was not very pleasant and was curt during our visit. In addition to the arrangements we had ordered for our special occasion; I had referred another person to this shop. Well, due to a snow storm the arrangement was not delivered on the day it was scheduled(which I totally understand!) What I don't understand is why Dore did not make a phone call to us to let us know she would not be delivering. That is basic customer service. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I could have put a better bouquet together myself with flowers from King Soopers. read more

I decided to order an arrangement for my girlfriend late in the morning and, with a quick call, Dore assured me the flowers would be delivered that afternoon. I received a note from her a few hours later letting me know the delivery person had left the flowers in a safe place where the dogs couldn't get them and where the flowers wouldn't be in the sun. My girlfriend absolutely loved the flowers and the arrangement, and said I got extra bonus points for choosing the best florist in Evergreen. Dore had great ideas about floral arrangements and really seemed to understand what I was requesting. However, her professionalism left much to be desired. When I asked if her shop had any 'environmentally friendly' policies, she proceeded to lecture me on why these were not important and try to convince me they did not matter, instead of telling me what she could do, and then moving on. My son ordered Mother's Day flowers from California. They weren't delivered until day after. There was no viable " arrangement" . It was a too large bunch stuffed into a mason jar. When I called Dore she said he'd ordered a "less than lavish" ( $40.00) arrangement, and in response to my mention of the flowers themselves being limp, she said it was probably because they'd been in a too hot car. read more
