I just joined Steps Alive inc. this September and i enjoy going there so much, my dance coach/teacher Mrs.Collen is the best, so is all you`re staff , my friends have been going here forever and will not me and i dont think I will either.You guys have amazing care for students like me,I have never felt lonley or bad when i was here we get rewards,and best of all learning dance witch is the best part, i do lyric jazz , and its the best, my sister will be starting ballet soon and I hope that she has as much as a great time as I do. Unfortunately there is no website or printed paper schedule so... it's very very very tricky signing your kids up for lessons if your trying to coordinate your family's activity schedule. If you have other siblings activities you will have to sign up for dance first and build all the other activities around this schedule. You don't even know the days until you sign up and they verbally tell you. If your kids want to dance for fun this is a great school. One suggestion for the landlord and all the other store owners on that block of stores: the parking lot drop off pick up situation is horrible and dangerous. There needs to be a single one way in and out of the one lane parking lot, a traffic light or a stop sign would be help and if everyone could stop double parking that would be so nice. I have to park 2 blocks away to avoid the insanity and car accidents. I do love that my kids had fun in a nice environment and learned how to dance. The teachers are very good with the kids and the annual recital is very long but well organized.

The staff was professional, on time and worked well with my very shy 4 year old. The studio is located on Meacham with ample street parking available. The studio space is clean and sufficient. I love the diversity of ethnicities that attend class here. The classes are affordable, small and personal so that the girls really get the routine and learn. They update their IG and FB with gorgeous photos of the girls. I am looking foward to parent presentation night and the 1st recital.

Layla's Dance and Drum studio provides fun, yet challenging classes for my child. Since we have been with the school, I have observed remarkable growth in my child. Ms. Anayo's program has helped to build dedication, discipline and responsibility in my child over the past two years. As a youth Track & Field Champion, athlete and coach, I seek out the best quality extra curricular activities for my child. Layla's Dance and Drum meets the mark, they are top tier. The dance performances are extremely entertaining. I beam with pride when I see my child's capabilities come to life knowing the hard work and training that it takes to prepare for each show. In the past, I have volunteered backstage at shows where teams of parents work hard to make sure that all children are safe, and on time for each performance. Without fail, the dance school owner goes above and beyond. There have been times when I observed her lending extra props and costumes to dancers in order to add to the flare and excitement of the show (free of charge). The workers purposely give you false information in order to stall you from canceling so they can continue to charge you. They gave me an email address to send notice to in order to cancel, however the contract gives you a PO Box to Send it to. Beware this gym is run by sneaky individuals who could care less about you. It's dirty and run down.
