dr Peter Awad and his Medical assistant Jessica were one of the best, friendly, professional, and overall greatest health care experiences i even had in my life. I had an ingrown nail before about three years ago. I went to the emergency room, and I would say it was one of the most painful procedures I ever had in my life, due to that experience, I was so hesitant to ever see a doctor for my toe yet alone, let them examine me. Nice photo however IMHO not a good Dr. I went into Crismali Foot and Ankle on 2/15/18 after waiting to get a referral to them from my PCP...that's another story however, I was assigned to Dr.Awad I went into this office hoping to get relief from the pain I've been in since late last year, well that didn't happen. I'm not sure what's going on with my ankle/heel but, the pain is hovering at times at 10 out 10 and sleeping is totally uncomfortable plus walking and climbing stairs well you can put two and two together. So the exam went like this: sat on table spoke with nurse/X-ray tec who grilled me like I was a soldier standing at attention that went on for about 10 minutes or so then Dr Awad came in he introduced himself "what's going on?" I proceeded to explain he initially seem concerned he told me what it could possibly be, but gave me NO plan of treatment, NO pain management/medicine NO nothing other than a referral for an MRI and an appointment for 6 weeks for a follow up visit, now the MRI for which I had to get approved by the PCP. Now mind you what was written on the paperwork for the MRI I was given was different from the PCP got. After numerous back and forth with this office and the PCP office I finally got the approval for the MRI which took place on 2/24/18. I call this office and was told that it takes 7-10 days for the Dr to review it and then I won't know the results until I go back in 6 weeks. Now I'm in a large amount of pain and it seems they don't care ‍. On March 2nd got another PCP and it seems a change has come Dr. Awad actually called me personally which makes a big difference for me and now a course of treatment has started however for the office staff that's another story, but we'll see if things get better. read more

One of the best doctors I have ever been to! First of all, the staff is extremely friendly and they are all smiles! :) The are very courteous on the phones and very helpful in person. The office is very clean and almost spotless. Treatment room is comfortable (although cold at times). The whole environment is inviting and not stressful at all. The waiting time wasn't bad - somewhere around 10 minutes. I went to have someone look at my foot because it has been painful for weeks and I am runner, but have not been able to run due to the pain. I met Dr. Awad, who is extremely knowledgeable and is just full of information. He explained to me why I have been having this pain and told me how to get rid of it. He even gave me an injection, which was probably the most painless injection I've ever had. He has a really soft touch and is very caring. He spent a lot of time with me, not like other doctors who just run in and out of rooms and don't ever listen to their patients. It was definitely a great experience and I would recommend anyone who has foot pain to go see him!! I'm going back there if ever have any more foot pain. read more
