I just had my breast reduction surgery 9/24/25 & it was the absolute BEST experience. I have never had a major surgery before and I am so pleased with every part of the process. I was able to go through my insurance with Pomona Valley Medical Center and blue shield trip and it was such a smooth and quick process for me getting approval. I had 2 consultations with Dr. Wali, the first in late April and the second June 19th where he said I was ready to proceed with the procedure. I originally was not ready the first consultation because I had just stopped breastfeeding my son and he wanted to make sure I was completely dried up. Dr. Wali was amazing at explaining every detail the entire process. I was then contacted by his wonderful front office staff with a surgery date a lot quicker than I expected. His front office staff were absolutely incredible. Day of my surgery and upon Dr. Wali's arrival he explained every detail of the surgery to my husband and I and made sure we understood everything. I could not have ask for a better experience as my first major surgery not only was Dr. Wali amazing before my surgery but also after, he provides a number to contact him after surgery with any questions and I never once had to wait long for him to respond. He was always prompt with his responses and answered all questions and concerns that I had always making me feel at peace. My wife and I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Wali, his staff, and the results of my wife's surgery! She had a tummy tuck and now her tummy looks like that of a 20-year old's. No lie. The day she had her surgery, by the time I went to the pharmacy to pick up her pain meds, they were closed. So I called the doctor's exchange line, left a message, and he called me back within minutes. And this was around 8:00pm. He called in pain meds to 3 different pharmacies I told him were close to my house and 24/7. But they weren't 24/7! I kept calling Dr. Wali back and asking him to try a different pharmacy and he patiently and kindly obliged. About 10:00pm that night, we finally found a 24/7 pharmacy and I was able to get my wife's pain meds. Dude gave me his personal cell phone and told me to text or call him so that he'd know FOR SURE we were able to get her meds. To say his patience, kindness, and care was astonishing would be an understatement. He also required many follow-up appointments just to check to make sure EVERYTHING was healing 100% correctly. His skill as a surgeon is top-tier, his kindness as a human is next-level, and his care as a doctor is about as thorough as any doctor I've ever known. I had MOHS surgery at my dermatologist's office to remove a skin cancer from my nose. The surgery was successful, but left a large hole on my nose - just above the nostril, a tricky place. I worried about ever having a "normal-looking" nose again - one that wouldn't draw unwanted attention. Dr Wali was amazing. During the whole process he explained everything that was going to happen and I appreciated not being left in the dark. The surgery to graft skin onto the area was beyond what I had expected. There was very little discomfort and although it looked pretty unflattering for a little while, nobody even notices it now. I was impressed with Dr Wali's skills and his compassion. Let me start off by saying Wali and his staff are amazing and friendly. But... am I happy with results, yes and no. I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair and a mons lift. I needed it because I had children, got fat, lost weight and had a hanging belly. I didn't expect results to be perfect but I'm not exactly 100% happy with the wrinkles and dog ear at the end of my incisions, little fat bulges in front of my hip bones, as well as the left side of my vagina has a bulge that can be seen when I wear pants. Yes I may look ok when I have clothes on, but I want to feel sexy when my clothes are off. I was wearing long shirts before the surgery to hide my belly and I'm wearing long shirts now to hide the bulge on one side of my vagina. The scars don't bother me, but the wrinkles, dog ear and vaginal bulge bother me. The dr said I look fine and most vaginas are uneven. I did ask about revision and was told it was not necessary. It may not be necessary, but we get cosmetic procedures to feel better about ourselves. Instead of feeling sexy naked, I don't want to take my panties off when I'm with my partner. I don't want to lay there naked and I don't want his hands on my hips where the dog ear is. It feels gross and raised when I lay on my side. Would I do the procedure again, yes I would because overall the hanging belly is gone and with panties on I feel ok. The top looks good but the bottom part makes me feel insecure. Now I'm thinking to find another dr who will be willing to fix what makes me feel insecure. He has done beautiful work for many others, I just don't currently feel like one of them.
