That being said, Dr. Nick Stepanski is a very intelligent, kind like his father, "green", young provider learning to fill big shoes. I've been a patient of theirs for 30 years. Times have changed, communication is through a portal, which I love because the staff is really good at responding quickly. I absolutely love the staff. They are always pleasant over the phone, stopping in for a nurse visit, and through the portal.

Dr. Leskie and her staff have proved a medication check that my son never went to them for and have also approved a medication refill even though they have absolutely ZERO medical history of his medical condition from his previous pediatrician. Between talking with reception all the way to a practice manager, I can safely say you will find better care almost anywhere else!! Don't waste your time especially if you're looking for a pediatrician

After a few visits, both my wife and I decided that we would never see anyone else for our medical needs and asked if he would become our Primary Care Physician (PCP). He agreed and we have never looked back. Chaka is always there for us when we have a medical need. He is more knowledgeable than any of the doctors that were foisted on us when our "regular" doctors retired. More importantly, he cares about his patients. I have even received a follow-up phone call from him at 10:30 at night when he was wrapping up his days work at the clinic. Both my wife and I trust Chaka implicitly and recommend him to anyone who has a medical problem.

Do yourself a favor and pick another clinic UPDATE: I did get a Yelp response apologizing for the poor experience asking that I please reach out to Scott D via phone or email; I sensed some hope and called... no answer but left a message to call me back as well as emailed. Still no reply a day later. I've been without my maintenance medication that I've been taking for 25 years with no response from McLaren Oakland Waterford Associates.
