Myself, my husband, and our 9 month old son were all in the wedding party. As you can imagine, I was so excited to be able to see all the pictures that were taken. After all, it's not like we were able to take pictures during the ceremony or during all those special moments. People even say it's rude to take pictures during weddings, that's why you pay sooo much money for a photographer, right?! Well, after returning home, we learned the heartbreaking news that Amanda did not back up any of the photos on her computer after deleting them from her camera, her computer crashed, and you can guess what happened....ALL of the photos were GONE!! Who doesn't back up their work?! These are irreplaceable moments. This is so inexcusable and downright terrible business practices. But you want to know the cherry on the top of it all?! She refuses to give my brother and his wife their money back!!! She even had the gall to tell them that she'd only give them their money back if they would take down their review!!! We've bitten our tongues for a long enough. Save your money and do not trust this irresponsible photographer with your most precious moments. I understand things happen, but she has not handled this in any sort of professional way. This is honestly the most absurd thing that I have ever heard of and your actions for not backing up your work and how you've handled everything since have been egregious!!! They have been more than patient for the last two years, trying to recover photos and figure out a way to get this rectified and have not received anywhere close to an acceptable resolution. It all started when I sent a mass message request for quotes from various photographers around the Napa area. I had planned to do a surprise proposal for my now fiance and the responses I received were unhelpful and dry. Many responses were received such as "500 flat rate" or "not available". Well, Chris responded with a very thorough and inquiring message. He sent many many suggestions of places to propose at, what the area is like, what the staff is like ... man I can't name the countless details he has discussed with me. Point being, he went ABOVE AND BEYOND what nobody else would. I had a few places in mind to propose at, but these suggestions Christophe made were fantastic. I'm talking vast mountain views and intimate settings. Open vineyards as far as the eye can see where no one is around but just you and that special person. He has done us a 100/10 service in helping plan and set up the surprise engagement. Christophe is special to me in the way that he has made this whole process a comfortable and exciting one. I was very nervous throughout the whole process and due to some miscommunication, I was devastated but Chris cleared everything up for me and the other parties involved, and from there I knew he was a man with a good heart that only wants the best for his clients. In preparation of the surprise engagement, he gave very very thorough and specific details. Like, there's no way you can go wrong!! It was so comforting knowing step by step what I should do and how to help my fiance get the best shots without compromising the surprise in any way.
