I've been a patient in the Stephen Huppert, DDS dental practice for about 20 years. Invariably, I've received excellent care by Dr Huppert and his lovely staff. Everyone, Dr Huppert included, is personable, kind, professional and caring. But a couple of weeks ago, Dr Huppert and office manager-dental assistant Leslie went above and beyond the great service I've always received. I'm immensely grateful for their help. After a bad fall, I need immediate treatment to reposition a couple of front teeth. I called as soon as I could from the ER to let them know of my emergency, and rushed over after a long day at the hospital. They stayed late that day for consultation and X-rays after hours - this was the same day I had fallen - and found time for repairs needed early the next day. As always, they took pains to reassure me and fully inform me of the treatment plan. Their attitude of care and concern for my comfort eased my anxiety, and They've always inspired my confidence in their abilities. Dr Huppert proscribed something so I could sleep with less pain and arrive at his practice feeling calmer in the morning. But that concern for my comfort is standard for this practice. From the friendly and very accommodating office staff to Huppert himself, they are always professional and friendly and willing to go the extra mile to take care of me. I have had many issues with my front crowns (of my own doing) and Stephen has showed up early and has even come in on the weekend to take care of my emergencies. BEST DENTIST EVER! he will walk you through the dental agenda prior to doing any work. I was highly recommended by a family that has been going here for years so I had to try it out for myself. So this was my second visit and it was the second flawless experience. The dental work is rather quick but very precise and detailed! Dr. Huppert is also among the top oral surgeons in the area. My brothers and I all had wisdom tooth extractions performed with little to no swelling, and my recovery barely called for the single pain pill I took. Dr. Huppert has been my dentist since I was 5 and I am now 38, so I have been going to his office over 30 years. I moved away for college, law school and to practice law in the Bay Area (so over 20 years ago) and I STILL come to Dr. Huppert's office for all of my dental needs. First of all, he is super warm, caring and friendly to everyone!! He is a family man with a lovely wife and two wonderful daughters. He likes to play golf in his free time and at some point even coached a high school golf team that needed help with its program. He is very generous and giving and will work with you even if you can't afford certain services to come up with the best solution. His team of hygienists and dental assistants are super awesome! Everyone is very well experienced and exceptionally trained. He has all the latest and greatest technology and he is always attending dental conferences etc to obtain the latest and up to date practices. He cares about the aesthetics of teeth and is very good at bonding, whitening, veneers or whatever you would like. And if any of the bonding later chips he will fix it for free (and I mean even 10-20 years later). On a personal note, when I was pregnant I learned of their policy of having you come in every 3 months or so without charge to do regular checks and cleanings and make sure your teeth and gums are surviving the baby taking away all of your calcium and other vitamins/nutrients. This was a blessing. Also, I witnessed a patient who lost his flipper/fake tooth. He went to Dr. Huppert for an evaluation. While Dr. Huppert ordered and got him fixed for a new one, he would not let him leave the office with a missing tooth and insisted on providing a beautiful temporary without charge. All other dentists quoted the patient much more money and did not provide a temporary! And every time I talk to anyone else about their dental care, I am not aware of anyone else who performs the work with such quality while also not shafting you on the price!!! He is very very good. Sue is the office manager and has also been with Dr. Huppert over 20 years. She too is wonderful and will work with you regarding payment when necessary. So. I would recommend Dr. Huppert to anyone and everyone. I have been to other dentists and it was not the same. I will never leave him. He will have to leave me :-) (when he retires). read more

Dr. Huppert has taken care of me for years and he is fantastic. Today, my 9-year-old daughter, who is not his patient, experienced an orthodontist emergency but her ortho office was closed for the holiday. Dr. Huppert welcomed my daughter, assessed the situation, and dealt with her issue, all the while explaining every detail to my child such that she could understand.
